Sweet friends, thank you so much for your kind support yesterday!!  I’ve been away too long and it’s heartwarming to know you are still there.  After reading through comments and chatting with people on Facebook and Instagram, I so know why I love this community and this craft.  I think I’ve so missed chatting with you all and again thank you so much for hanging in there with me.  I promised I would leave some details about Hochanda Show Times as well as my 3D Vignettes Demo, so here they are:

Of course, I couldn’t pop in without leaving a card for you to ponder.  In my off days, I’ve been trying to think of ways to use 3D Vignette dies for regular everyday cards.  Another brilliant sentiment from Quietfire Design called Life Doesn’t Have to Be Perfect, provided the inspiration.  I reached for Ornamental Arch to create a frame for this simple, horizontal card.  I simply layered one over the other until the circle in the middle was large enough for my sentiment.  The shapes were secured with slivers of double stacked foam tape.  Easy!!

Amazing Paper Grace Post - Amazing News! - - Becca Feeken uses Spellbinders Dies for an Encouragement Card with Curvy Labels, Breanna
Alright, I confess I’ve been hibernating!!  Well, I’m popping back up just in time to share some amazing news.  I have a new Spellbinders die cut design collection called Romancing the Swirl coming out and I’m so thrilled to be presenting it in the UK on Hochanda TV in one week!!!!  That’s right, on Friday, May 4 and Saturday, May 5 – I’ll supply UK and US watching times this week.  I hope you’ll tune in to your computer to watch live on their website.  Are you one of my UK Buddies?  Let me say right off the bat, there are a lot of hugs that I’ve been waiting for and a bundle of hugs I’ve been waiting to give to my sweet UK friends.   Please come and see me –  I’ll be demoing at Sunrise Crafts on May 6th from 10 am to 3 pm.  I’ll be demoing 3D Vignettes, which they will have in stock for my visit.

Card Details

It’s been busy getting ready but not too busy to create an encouragement card that even resonated with me.  Eeeek….I’ve sneaked in one of the new classic dies called Curvy Labels and paired it with Tiered Rosettes, Swirling Grace and Breanna’s Corset.   My friend Suzanne Canon with Quietfire Design penned this awesome saying for a stamp called The Only Time, that reminds us all not to look back but to constantly keep looking forward.  Wise words my friend, wise words.

Amazing Paper Grace Post - Amazing News! - - Becca Feeken uses Spellbinders Dies for an Encouragement Card with Curvy Labels, Breanna
Lately, my colors are pink, cream and gold and I’m so wanting everything to be “romantic.”   I say give in to whatever phase you are in.  It is appropriate that I was in the same phase when I created Romancing the Swirl.  It’s full of calligraphic swashes and lovely curls for suitably classic cards.

Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using Amazing Paper Grace 3D Vignettes - Grand Dome Base with Hemstitch Rectangles - see full supply list at www.amazingpapergrace.com/?p=33826
Good morning sweet friends!   It has been a busy week and I wanted to peek in with a card and more Creative Team Inspiration.  I’m actually enjoying playing with some dies that are coming in a couple of months but every chance I get, I play a little bit more with  3D Vignettes.  By the way, these have been sold out for a bit but are due back in this week – if you want to make sure to get what you want out of this batch, I’d encourage to take a quick look at 3D Vignettes and click ‘notify me’ on each sku that want to have the option to buy – you’ll get a notice when they come back into inventory. :-)  These have sold through a couple of times, as retailers reorder and I’d love for you to have the option to make cards as we share inspiration.

Some of the dies are in stock at Scrapbook.com—–> listed together HERE
Some of the dies are in stock at Amazon.com——–> listed together HERE
Please also check the Stamp Simply Store  ———–> listed together HERE
I learned from Marco’s Paper they are in stock——> listed together HERE

I get many emails about this, so I’ll keep you updated as I post :-)

In the mean time, I wanted to show you that even though this collection has a complete presentation, it is also designed to break down and use the individual pieces for your everyday cards.  I’m in love with the Grand Dome 3D Card and have a couple more things up my sleeve about how it can be used.

Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using Amazing Paper Grace 3D Vignettes - Grand Dome Base with Hemstitch Rectangles - see full supply list at www.amazingpapergrace.com/?p=33826Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using Amazing Paper Grace 3D Vignettes - Grand Dome Base with Hemstitch Rectangles - see full supply list at www.amazingpapergrace.com/?p=33826Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using Amazing Paper Grace 3D Vignettes - Grand Dome Base with Hemstitch Rectangles - see full supply list at www.amazingpapergrace.com/?p=33826
Today’s card is my quest to get as much use as I can our of this.  The filigree part of this die as well as the pierced detail are so charming, so I decided to find a way to mirror them symmetrically so that I could highlight a sentiment.  This is how I created the easy symmetrical base!

Here’s How:

Easy peasy!!  It’s awesome how the detail around the top of the the Grand Dome are so similar to Hemstitch Ovals – it made sense to use them together.

Oh my – there is no one like you Becca for finding new ways of using dies…just no one! I thought it was hemstitch oval and thought how on earth did she get a circle as I didn’t think a circle has been on sale yet and then it was all clear. Thanks for the inspiration you pass on to us.ReplyCancel

    Hi Becca,
Yes, I thought it was the hemstitch as well. We just used mine last night at our group get together. I think that the 3D Vignettes dies are some of your very best! Everyone that sees the things I have made with them are totally astonished. My granddaughter called me Sunday to thank me for her Easter card and said, “Oh Grandma that was so very beautiful so 3D.” I said yes it is 3D. I did her layers in lt. pink, blue, yellow, green and lilac, so it really was very Springy, Eastery. Love what all of the team members have done too!! You go girl!!!!!
