Hi there sweet friends. Popping in to let you know that two of the three winners have responded. I’ll have a further update for you tomorrow. In the meantime, after all my errands today I got the inspiration for a card. I was thinking petticoats, lol. Can’t you tell? Seriously, this is my favorite, favorite, favorite lace. I indulged last year after I saw this in the Prima booth at CHA. No worries, it won’t go to waste – I sew too so this may end up on the bottom of a jean jacket or something. It was my starting point on this card and then I thought it an excellent place to showcase one of the new background stamps from Our Daily Bread Designs – the Fish Background. It’s very subtle here because it’s stamped over top of my striped design paper – I heat embossed it with ivory embossing powder. Then I stamped half of the sentiment from the Anchor set and behind it, very faintly, you can see the anchor image.
My focal point medallion is made up of two of Spellbinders Fancy Tags Two with Standard Circles SM and Standard Circles LG layered on top. Lol, you know I’m push myself from time to time to step outside of my color comfort zone – voila -purple for you. It honestly doesn’t happen often, but I’m trying to change that!!

As usual a beautiful card… I love everything abou it and the embossing of the background is genius. Just wondering how you got the pinking on the end of the ribbon, was it done with pinking shears? Tks for sharing!
I totally understand why this is your favorite lace — it is heavenly! I’ve never had the nerve to use that much lace on a card, but your ‘petticoat’ border is GORGEOUS!!! Your bow is awesome too — LOVE it!!!

So many little details to get to the altogether glorious finish. The first thing that popped out at me was the ribbon corner and the pinking on the bottom of the bow tails. After reading each comment, I had to go back and look at that particular detail. Then, the oh so gentle anchor stamp. So beautifully understated. Like some of your other followers I could not quite take in that you stamped on your DP. Yes, you told us, but really, who does that? Except you!
I love every little thing about this card. You done did it again!
Becca,
Love the lase on the card and the pretty bow. Those new stamps are so fabulous, I wish I had them. I sure hope that my info went through to you for the prizes, since you mentioned that you only received two responses, I always have such troubles with computer stuff. Well, hope to hear from you.

Yet another very pretty card, Becca! I like what you did with the ribbon over the corner, and what a perfect bow. I love the way you layered the medallion, and that background was very creative. I love making my own backgrounds, which was my only way till I got inspired here to use background paper.
I totally enjoyed you ‘step outside the box’ Becca…nicely done! Like what you did with the fish stamp – I thought I ordered the embossing plate – in error I had ordered the stamp….so now I have both! And….thanks to you, now I know what I will do with the stamp – LOL!
