Can I tell you that I just swooned when I received this gorgeous cross in the mail from Stamper’s Dream. Called Canterbury Cross Small, this lovely creation is from Holly Berry House. Stamper’s Dream has quite a few in the collection and all of the Holly Berry Stamps are unique with all their layering possibilities. I cut my image out five times but every time you cut it out, each motif is smaller and smaller. All images are gold embossed – the embossing gives a great guideline for cutting. I threw all caution to the wind and broke out the glitter (I don’t think I’ve ever used glitter on anything I’ve posted here. Alas I’m prone to glitter catastrophies.) If you click on the photo you can see a larger version.
I used a glimmery gold paper that I embossed with a Sizzix embossing folder called Scrollmark Large and embellished with some pearls. The valance was made using Spellbinders Ric Rac Scalloped Pierceability and underneath I tucked a border punched from EK Success Moroccan Lace.
I left the card blank so that I could personalize it later. As with all the Holly Berry House stamps, once I’ve done them once I realize what I would do different next time – I guess that’s part of their charm ;-)
