Hugs friends, I spent most of the day cleaning my kitchen. Yes, it was that bad. As a reward I sat down and made two cards to share – oh the little pleasures. This card features one of my very favorite Flourishes images – Patriotism on Parade. As a matter of fact, I was so excited about this silhouette because if you remember THIS card, the silhouette was printed on the design paper. Now I can remake that card, or you can make that card without having to jump through hoops to find the paper.
I used the Ric Rac Scallop Pierceability to cut the top of my main panels and the sentiment is backed by the Spellbinders Renaissance Hearts Pendant center.
Card Recipe: Stamps: Flourishes – Paper: Making Memories – Vintage Findings Ink: Colorbox Pigment Ink – Chestnut, Chianti, Clear Embossing Powder Accessories: Spellbinders Ric Rac Scallop Pierceability, Spellbinders Renaissance Hearts Pendant Center, ribbon, MS Loopy Border Punch. |
My second car today features a sentiment of one of the new Our Daily Bread Designs stamps – Thinking of You. My card is based on the sketch this week on Mojo Monday.
For the vertical strips, I used Spellbinders Fancy Tags.

Wll that’s all for now. Back to my cleaning!
Becca, these are gorgeous!!! Love how you used the spellbinders die cut on the top and the tags on the second card. Beautifully done!!!
These are too cute. i really like the layering on the second card. i had to do a double take, i thought it was one dye cut. Superb.
both so pretty as always
Hugs

Both are so pretty!! I too love that image from Flourishes
Becca,
Both cards are just fabulous. I just love how you use the spellbinders.
You go girl. Have a wonderfully creative week.

Congrats on the clean kitchen. Wanna come clean mine? Ha, ha!
Your cards are gorgeous, as always!!!!! Happy Tuesday.
Love these Becca!! Hope you had a great weekend. Isn’t it great when you can clean out your kitchen and enjoy the wonder of it!! Until dinner that is!!
This is such a great card displaying the pride of our country. Thanks for this reminder and the fact that money will go to a great cause when you purchase the Patriotism On Parade Stamp Set. I love it. Thanks.
It’s weird, because on your first card, I thought you used Labels 7. Then when I read that you used the ric rac pierceability, I was pleasantly surprised that you can use that to make a Labels 7 diecut. Thanks for an unexpected tip.
Becca –
What sweet cards, so lovely. Your works of art always blow me away. You have a knack for putting things together that end up as little masterpieces. Your blog is my daily sip of art. Thank you so much.

I love each other but my preference goes to the second.
I love how you have arranged the tags.

Becca, you make such beautiful cards :)

What wonderful cards. I love the silhouette stamp.
The first card looks very vintage to me. Just so nice in it’s charm. The second is so pretty in those colors. With the colors chosen on both cards they are both winners in my book. TFS!!! Becca.
Gorgeous cards as always Becca. Love what you are doing with the Fancy Tag dies. Thank you!
Gorgeous. I like how you did the 3 tags.
Even though I’m usually drawn to pink, I LOVE the “cherish today” card!! Great colors, great layout and the way you combined the MS punch with the spellbinders is wonderful. Thanks for sharing after cleaning your kitchen ~ ugh!
Dear, dear Becca, do the companies whose dies and stamps and tools you use understand and really appreciate how much you do for them with you beautiful work? I have been putting off trying to buy more spellbinders because (thanks to you) I just used my spare money for some Just Rite Stamps. But looking at these beautiful works and all of those in the recent months…you are taking me over the edge and I feel I have to find some more money to purchase more of these marvelous spellbinder dies. But I would not be thinking this way if I didn’t see what amazing pieces of art can be made using them. Please send this on to these manufacturers so they know what a gem they have in you!!!
Also, I need someone to make a new stamp..a large one that says,
“WILL WORK FOR DIES AND STAMPS!!”
Please keep on creating and sharing,
Patsy in Florida
Two gorgeous cards Becca!!!
These are lovely, Becca. It’s my birthday this week and guess what? Some Just Rite stamps and more Spellbinders on my wishlist!

I just love both cards. And I especially love the Fancy Tags in the way that you used them. I’m tellin’ you in advance that I’m gonna have to case that idea, for sure!!! :)
Beautiful creations of art!!
Two more fantastic cards! You are so creative with your detail and use of dies and embellishments! It is such a joy to see your work! TFS!
Good evening, Becca- these are both just beautiful cards. I have just taken delivery of my own Fancy Tags dies this morning so I shall have a play using the Mojo Monday sketch- thank for sharing.
This is absolutely beautiful. My mom mentioned your blog to me and I am so glad.
Oh my Becca! Both are sooo pretty! LOVE your nestie fancy tags! Love your style!!!
Your cards are beautiful! Love the silhouette card! Your paper combinations are always so amazingly beautiful! I could look at your work for hours and hours. Thank you so much for sharing your talent!
Oh I sooooo love that pink card. It is so elegant and what a great use of the tags through the centre. You inspire me no end with your gorgeous work Becca. Cheers!
I love the way you used the tags on the second card. Seeing an element used in an unusual way increases its versatility. Thanks for the idea!
I love both your cards Becca.
The second one is my favourite. I love how you used the fancy tags that way. Beautiful in it’s simplicity.

Oh my goodness Becca,
These are gorgeous! Elegant, pretty and all that other good stuff! I especially love the pink and gray one. That is one color combo I keep forgetting about, it looks so good together. Thanks for the inspiration!
Hugs,
Lisa Atha
Both are absolutely charming and elegant Becca!! LOVE the shapes and colors!!
Becca, I just love how you used the MS loop punch!!
Becca, your cards are beautiful, but I must say your use of the Fancy Tags spellbinders is soooo cool & innovative. I love how it looks flipped up and as an accent. I got it and when I saw it I’ve been struggling with how I was going to use it since it seems pretty big for a card… Thanks for the inspiration. :o)
Very beautiful! And I love the big pink bow!!
I use to receive your emails but I don’t know. I don’t know how to
get them any more. CAn you help??? I just love you cards and have
been missing them.
Thanks, Janet
