Fa la la la la, la la la la! Hi there blog friends. I’m still on a Christmas kick – the clock is ticking down and I feel the pressing tick – tock in my mind every minute. Life is simple so I don’t have tons of shopping to do, but I aways seem to wake up about a week prior. My Christmas tree, one of the slim pencil trees, has been up for the last year. My sweet daughter just moved on December 1st (looooong story) so we bundled the tree up, ornaments and all, and took it to her new place. I purchased another one but when I went out to get ornaments this past weekend, it almost seems like retailers are rolling the carpet up on Christmas decorations. The shelves were bare, they are already putting out spring stuff!!! I have enough to get by this year but hopefully I’ll be able to catch an after Christmas sale so that I’ll be ready for next year, ha-ha!
I’ve picked another Quietfire Design sentiment to share today; this one is called It is Christmas in the Heart. I know I’ve said this before, I love this type of classic sentiment – it wears well on both the front of the card or the inside. I’ve paired it up with a frame made from Spellbinders™ Fleur de Lis Squares, Spellbinders™ Labels Sixteen and Spellbinders™ Classic Squares LG. Simple!

Your card is so very lovely Becca. I just love that sentiment — so true. It is sad how many people lose sight of the very reason for Christmas. Thanks for allowing me to pause for a moment, enjoy the beauty of your card, and find Christmas in my heart.

Hi Becca – lovely card, classic and simple, gorgeous colors. Thank you for sharing your ideas and as always, your work is just beautiful!
I crochet snowflakes, starch them, tuck a dozen each in small boxes purchased at the dollar store, decorate the boxes and have ready gifts. Then I get requests for more:).
Take care.

Absolutely GORGEOUS, Becca!!! I always look forward to looking at your blog to see what new beauty you’ve come up with!
We tried to find a string of lights to replace a burned-out one on our tree, and there are none to be had in our town! Crazy!! Pretty soon we’ll be celebrating next Christmas before this one’s even over with ~ the stores keep putting things out earlier and earlier for every holiday!
This is, I think my most favourite of all the gorgeous Xmas cards you make. It’s just got “it”. I can’t define “it”, but it’s a wonderful thing to have. Thanks for sharing.

This card is so lovely. I really enjoy the reds and greens of traditional Christmas decorations/cards. This one is just so so sweet, is the word I’m looking for. Bless you this Christmas keeping Christ in the center of it all allows us to maintain peace and joy. The joy of the Lord is our strength! How true, how true.

That is a fabulous green (could you tell the colour name and manufacturer please). Sorry I haven’t been by for a while, I have been a little poorly, but I am on the mend now. I do hope you are feeling better and the pain has eased a little for you.
May I take this opportunity to wish you and all your followers a
Happy Christmas and may you be reminded daily of ‘the reason for the season’.
Best Wishes Linda (S.Wales, UK)
Out of all your cards, this has to be my favorite. I love everything about it. How do you tie these bows? I’m sure that you have shown it before, just curious.
Another gorgeous Becca card. I always love the way that you combine your Spellbinders. That is a lovely sentiment and the bow, well it’s a Becca Bow, what more needs to be said?

Becca, with your amazing talent, I would think you could make quite a few lovely paper ornaments to hang on your tree. Shall I issue you a challenge?
Wow an other amazing card
I love this card–the layering and color combination is great!
Your work is stunning…and such an inspiration.
Another gorgeous card, Bekka! Thanks so much for all you do. I love the colors in this one.
Hi Becca! This card is stunning. I love everything about it. I love the design of your blog as well. Did you design it yourself? Happy Holidays!
Love the pretty nestie framing layers on this wonderful sentiment Becca! and what lovely colors!
Becca, this is just a pure work of art!
I love your work. Any and ALL of it. My question is: How do you mail these cards with all the beautiful embellishments? I put ribbons and buttons and whatever other 3-D embellishment and I have a big problem putting them in an envelope and paying the postage is a challange. Please help.
Thanks,
Lynn Sawtelle
Hey, paper crafter! How about some paper ornaments? I cut some glitter paper of a few different colors and made those little boxes with my Sizzix die. Then I punched out some leaves which I added to the front and put a couple of bits of bling on top of the leaves. All those wonderful Spellbinders dies you have… cut, glue back to back and add ribbons and/or Stickles. I can imagine a beautiful tree with just your gorgeous bows!
Your card is so pretty! I love the soft green with the bright little pops of red.
Thanks for sharing! :)
Hello Becca,
I’m hoping you will share how you made the double bow with us. I have a bow maker like yours. I don’t quite get how to make the double bow with different lengths of loops.
Thanks!
Julie
