Coming Up for Air

I guess you could say that I’m coming up for air :)  Sorry to have been sooooo absent, I’ve been working on some things for CHA I forgot how much time really goes in to the thought and process of creating.  I’ve literally been living in the craft room for the last two weeks and have been woefully missing from commenting on blogs and seeing what’s going on out in the craft world.  So today I’m sharing something I made quite some time ago, but hadn’t had a chance to share.  This is a blank card using Spellbinders Eyelets Pendant Eyelets Borderabilites, Fancy Scallop Pierceability and Classic Scalloped Circles, Large.  It’s not my normal style, but the slots on that die template were just screaming for some ribbon to be threaded through them so, I gave in and did it, lol.  For the ribbon that’s threaded as a star, I simply twisted the ribbon to make each point before threading the ribbon into the next hole.  The ribbon threaded through the Borderability is simply knotted.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  None
Paper:  The Paper Company – Blonde Columns, Bazzill, K & Co.
Ink:  None
Accessories:  Spellbinders Eyelets Pendant, Spellbinders Eyelets Borderabilities, Spellbinders Fancy Scallop Pierceability, Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Circles Lage, Ribbon, Pearl, Button

How about that Spellbinders Blog Frenzy?!?  Aren’t the new templates fabulous??  Guess who’s template comes up for reveal on Sunday night at midnight?  Hee…hee…that would be me.  I loved the template I worked with, it is so…well….me.  I just know you are going to like it to. Just in case you haven’t seen the parade of new templates, here is the encore as well as those still to be seen:

Yippee!! for once I actually have ALL of the spellbinders that you used to make this card!! but the paper is going to be a toss up to see what will look as lovely as yours. My searches from my chair at home just see as well as my eyes do face to face so I am always guessing about the colors I am buying but thank you for always teaching us so I am learning the names and what to look for. now I just have to teach it all to my daughters. one of my dreams came true recently when my granddaughter and daughter both joined me in my craft room to make cards. It was so much fun! my daughters are always so busy with family and church that crafts do not have a high priority in their lives right now. but I keep telling them that a couple hours a month would do them a world of good. So thanks be to God for blessing me with my precious daughters and grandchildren and the best husband in the world.ReplyCancel
