Corner Punch meets JustRite Stamper

Well I’m excited about what I’m sharing with you today.  You all know how I love my Corner Punches and how I’ve used them to make medallions.  If you’re not familiar with my zeal for medallions made using a corner punch, check out these two tutorials – the first uses a corner punch to create a circular frame, the second uses a corner punch to create a rectangular frame.  Well now I have a twist on those two tutorials and have used the corner punch to make an interior frame and the interior frame works perfectly to highlight a JustRite Stamper border!

Cool, hunh?  I’ll have a tutorial on this technique coming soon.  In the meantime see how the punch outs create a perfect ring that you can stamp your JustRite Stamper on!

I’ve used a border with swirls and fleurs from the Harmony Classic Circle Stamper III Ensemble and I’ve also used the With Love Sentiment from the Harmony Classic Circle Stamper II Ensemble.  To cut the center circle window I used my Spellbinders Classic Circle Large and to show off my JustRite sentiment I used my Spellbinders Classic Heart Die.  The corner pieces are a portion of a Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Heart.   I found it easiest to stamp the JustRite border first, then cut the center window.  The remainder of the recipe for the card is below:

Card Recipe:
Stamps:
JustRite Harmony Classic Circle Stamper III Ensemble, JustRite Harmony Classic Circle Stamper II Ensemble
Ink:  Versamark and white embossing powder
Paper:  140lb Strathmore Watercolor Paper, Bazzill
Accessories:  EK Success Corner Punch – Graceful Heart.,  Cuttlebug Cut n Emboss – Love Language, Martha Stewart Scalloped Dot Border Punch, Ribbon, Pearls

I tried it following your tutorials, but I can’t get the interior ones to work. I tried the rectangle. My corner punches are Fiskars so I need to hunt down this one. I imagine that’s what is wrong. Your cards are so gorgeous. I love your sophisticated style. Do you know where I can get this corner punch? I only have Michaels and Hobby Lobby and neither carry this…boo hoo.

Thanks so much for the continued inspiration.ReplyCancel
