Creativity and Art

I love this tri-fold card format.  I sneak peeked of a small portion of this picture a couple of months ago and have pulled the entire thing out of my stash to show.   For those who have not tried it, you can find the technique on Splitcoast HERE.  I worked with vintage papers from K & Company’s Life’s Journey and a lace that I rescued from one of my sewing mishaps *wink*.   I love the filigree element – another fab find from the aisles of Hobby Lobby Jewelry department.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Collection
Paper:  K & Co – Life’s Journey
Ink:  Distress Ink – Scattered Straw, Distress Ink – Brushed Corduroy
Accessories:  Spellbinders Fancy Scalloped Pierceability, Ribbon, Crocheted Lace, Velvet Ribbon, Leaves, Pearls, Filigree Jewelry Finding – Hobby Lobby

Hope you are having an awesome week!

This is beautiful Becca, so soft and feminine. Such a neat idea for a card. Also I would like to say that i received my Card Maker magazine yesterday and in side the front cover is an advertisement from Spellbinders and a beautiful card made by you. I thought to myself that has to be one of Becca’s creations before i even saw your name. It’s so nice to see your work in other places too.ReplyCancel

    Becca,
That is one of my favorite card formats.
I just love what you did with the lace. And that filigree is a
“fab find”. I love how you put a new spin on things. Very creative.
