Hello Becca. Its 16:00 hours now here in Holland and Im sitting in my garden. Enjoying the flowers and good weather. My style is … Wel different. But I love vintage and romantic cards with a lot of ornantes. Old rose and old pink color. Gold since I met youre cards.
Greetings
What a beautiful card, Becca! I’d say most cards I create are more on the simple side. Lots of layers, matting, etc. but nothing so elegant and elaborate as yours :)
Another absolutely gorgeous card Becca. Well my card style would be ornate if I could do them all that way, but then since I have a lot of males in the family I usually go a little grunge! It really depends who I am making the card for, I always try to do something that they will like, me I like them all, not matter what kind, like the homemade ones the best. I get a real kick out of my hubby when he goes to buy a card for me, most of the time it looks like it’s home made, he can really find some rather pretty ones out there.
Becca, the paper looks tan to me in the picture, but you said Neenah Solar White. I see the green in the picture, so I’ve got that covered, so am I missing something?
Hugs and God Bless,
Gretchen
Ornate…if you’re going to handmake one, you may as well go all out.
Another beautiful card. Thanks for the chance to win! Compared to yours..mine are pretty simple rather than elegant, but are usually well received!
My cards are very simple, although I love those ornate ones. I just don’t seem to ever make them or the more layered ones. I also don’t add so many embellishments, because I mostly mail mine, at least that’s the excuse I use!(maybe it’s because I want to keep those for myself)!
Becca, your card is so heart-warming! The delicate oval frame and the sentiment panel with debossing and cut-outs is so elegant! Your blog is the first one that I started reading regularly, and it remains at the top of my bookmark list. You set the standard for card-making, but my style is much simpler. Always love my visits to APG! Thank you for being blessing.
Hi Becca. Most of my cards would be on the simple side but with layering and embellishments. I’m trying to up my game and make more of them more ornate and/or elegant. Since I live in the backwoods of nowhere everything has to be mailed and that sometimes gets in the way. Love your work and your talent!
Hugs and good wishes!
Simple or ornate, great question. . . for me it all depends on the mood I’m in, who the card is being made for and the reason the card is being made, so I guess the answer to todays question is both!
Sometimes simply is best and sometimes ornate is best!!!
I tend to create layered cards. I love your elegant and ornate cards. Wish I had your stash, I love adding flowers to my cards.
Hi Becca,
My card style is more ornate. Simple cards would be easier, but I always seem to get involved in the project and want to use dies, flowers, bows, and embellishments! So it seems to take a little longer to make one. But they are made with love.
Becca, once again, your creation is beautiful. And, the sentiment touches my heart. I love ornate cards and crafts. I think my style may be somewhere in the middle. It also depends on my mood when I am designing a piece. Much joy and many thanks. You are an inspiration to all of us.
Another gorgeous creation here today Becca.
My cardstyle is definitely more like yours, but ofcause it also depends on, who the card is for, as I most times try to make it the style, I know the reciever is most into, but I´m not good at all to make CAS cards, as they always looks terrible boring and dull, when I´ve tryed that, and if I make them after my standsards, they´re definitely much more decorated with ribbons, flowers and lots of bling, as that´s some of the things, I can´t stand for myself he he he.
Both my card style morphed from my quilting style – abstract, modern and sometimes “crazy quilting”.
Simple, but I love the ornate. I love the Spellbinders Oval Regalia die that you used. It’s so pretty. Great card.
Love this card Becca, I like the monotone colours you used.
My style is variable. I usually make more ornate cards, but I do CAS cards if I am in the mood. One thing I do not do is grunge!!!!!!! I look at cards I see on the internet and think that some of them look great – but not for me I’m afraid. I have very occasionally made a steampunk card – but very “tidy” steampunk …. lol!!
I love the sentiment on todays card. My family all live in the north east of England and although I left forty years ago it is still “HOME”. Friends laugh when I say I am going home to visit my sister! Hugs Christine xx
Simple, simple, simple! I love looking at ornate cards but just can’t do them. Love your cards but I would never attempt to copy them. I’m a plain & simple card maker. :)
I normally make simple cards but mostly because I’m not very self-confident. Your card today is the kind of card I’d LIKE to make – it’s absolutely fabulous!
I really like the embossing detail with pearls on the top and bottom of sentiment oval and of course your bow and pearls! Thank You for the Spellbinders 25% off sale information. I ordered up some new dies and embossing folders so I can give a try at making a Becca Feeken inspired card. I make simple cards but you’ve inspired me to try the elegant look which I prefer but have been hesitant to try until now.
My style? That’s a good question. It depends upon who I am working with. If children, there is no defined style. I create card parts and let them go. They are told what we are doing and for whom. When working with adults, I will kit cards and let them go. I guess I’m more of a facilitator than card maker.
My style is ornate. Years ago a friend pointed me towards your website and your style sang to my heart! Your site was the very first I ever subscribed to and it is where I go for inspiration and tutorials. There is something ever so soothing about your voice and your smile… never hold back that smile! When I do sets of notecards for gifts, I tend toward a more simple style (not so much dimension, anyway) because I want the recipient to be able to use the cards easily.
Always layers and I always add an inside paper to write on. Can’t do just a card with no layering. Just looks cheeseieeee..”love the oval …thanks for your kindness in the giveaways ….your soooooooooo awesome!!!
Love the card and the stand it is sitting on has caught my eye also. That’s a good idea I might borrow! My style is more ornate. I !love filigree and fancy. Simple always looks a tad bland and naked to me. Some say less is more but think I subscribe to the more is more. Although there is a fine line between more and too much.
This card is stunning!! My style is definitely not CAS. I’m not as ornate as you are (I definitely don’t have your skills) but I love layers and die cuts. What do you call that middle ground?
Well, I am not real ornate! I love the style, but not mine. I like trying different folds and techniques mostly.
All of your cards are so beautiful. I love to make more ornate cards. I love crystals, ribbons, pearls, stick pins. All things glitzy.
Hi Becca, yet another beautiful card.
I prefer simple, elegant cards not too fussy with sincere words.x
My card style is more toward the simple, yet elegant style. Your card today is perfect – lovely colors, nice accents, great sentiment.
I do both simple and some ornate cards for special occasions such as weddings and anniversaries and significant birthdays. This is truly an awesome card today and the sentiment says so much.
I am definitely more of a simple style person!
Beautiful card. I love the lovely lacy oval – you’re such an enabler, now I’ve got to have oval regalia and majestic ovals. The bow is awesome. My style is usually fairly simple, but I do enjoy and admire your fancy ornate cards.
I LOVE,LOVE this card. I am for sure going to order the oval you used. It is so beautiful. As far as my cards go I buy almost every die you show and try to make the same card you did. Haven’t quite got the ribbon part down to where I am pleased with but I’m
still trying. My answer is I copy your cards and sometimes I do a simple one.
My style varies between type of card, stamps used and such. Some are much more simplistic, while others may have gems, pearls, ribbon, eyelets or other embellishments.
Becca, this is absolutely GORGEOUS! I love the rich shades of taupe and brown, gorgeous bow!
Well, I start out wanting to make an elaborate card, but when it doesn’t look very good, I change it to a simple card. I always have ideas of grandeur, but don’t always have the skills to achieve them.
Becca, this card is gorgeous, but then, ALL of them are. My card style is more simplistic, but I would love to do more of the ornate ones. I am really drawn to them and my friends would love them!
‘afternoon Becca. Another wonderful card today and a great layout for any occasion. That little hint of green looks great, but so does every other element, well you know who’s artistic work it is don’t you!
My cards tend to ‘be’ (read as ‘look’) quite elaborate :) I love my dies and pearls etc. I would feel I was cheating if I didn’t have several layers. Besides ‘simple’ is very different to ‘easy’. I would love to be able to create pleasing ‘clean and simple’ cards but no can do!!
OOOOOps, sorry, my comments seem to get longer each day.
Have a happy evening.
In between. I like creating interest with layers or different mediums. I like to pop things up when using stamps with matching dies. For things that are mailed, I make them so they fit in an envelope that doesn’t require additional postage.
Carol b
Becka, simply perfect as always and I love the sentiment. I love the more ornate cards like yours, but I tend to make a larger number of simpler ones. As soon as my new work area is finished I will definitely be working on the ornate ones!!!
That’s a beautiful card today, Becca. So elegant! The colors are so restful.
The style of card I most like to make is a lacy one. I have many dies for getting a lacy look, and somehow I seem to still buy more. I am secretly drawn to CAS cards though, and have pinned many layouts. But when I make them I am disappointed! They need lace!
My style is more a simple one. I would love to be able to do all the layers that I see you wonderful designers use, but alas, it’s hard for me. Your cards are always so elegant.
I am more the Ornate style which tends to take me forever to make a card.
Your Day 16 card is very nice. I LOVE the color theme you chose Becca
I really love your card! The color is beautiful! Really love the tray you have the card in. My card style is definitely more ornate than simple. Nothing better than making a card and blinging it up with ribbons, layers, rhinestones, glitter, etc. Makes me happy :)
I’m with Gayle…I go for the ornate stuff…but have trouble picking just what goes together or what I want…so it takes a while…lol!
My style is definitly simple style. But I so enjoy oogling your wonderful decorative style because one card is more beautiful than the other. thank you for sharing your talent.
Another truly gorgeous card today. I do both – simple and ornate, depending on the occasion and the person it’s meant for. I change my mind several times during the construction of my cards!
Doreen R from Bournemouth UK
I’m more CAS then I am fancy. I love the ornate look of your cards, but just don’t seem to have the skill at coordinating it all. lol
Hi Becca, Another beautiful card. I love the elegant cards like you make but I have yet to try to make one. I like bling and layering just wish I had more talent to do them.
Gorgeous card today Becca. I tend to be more ornate with lots of layering and pearls. I tend to try and make cards that the recipient would like. If they like something more simple, than that is what I make. That is what is great about card making. The style and words can be so specific to the person. When I found your website many years ago, it turned my card making from simple and basic to more “wow”. You have shared so many tips and I am so grateful for all your help in bringing the level of my cards up a number of notches. Have a wonderful day.
Love the card, but how do attach the button without it flopping all over?
I would say I’m simple. I like a purity look to my cards and not a lot of jumble to the eyes. Mind you, your cards are great. The first one I copied of yours was the 3 punched butterflies sideways down the page in a circular setting. That’s probably about 6 years ago. I had to buy a few punches but have made that card about 6 times – always slightly different.
Oh My!! Another my favorite so far card; just love the sentiment used.
I think I tend to be more on the simple side w/ a little layering.
My cards are very simple but I sure wish I could do ornate!
Your card is gorgeous!
A beautiful sentiment on today’s card! I really like the color of the bow too, that ribbon is so elegant looking.
I tend to steer towards the more ornate cards, but I do make a lot of simple ones too.
Lately I find myself making more & more CAS cards. I love to make all kinds really.
I always seem to make Ornate cards. Love your card you have so many ways to make then I need your Ideas on how to take apart the dies to change them thanks for all the Ideas. Hugs
My card and crafting style is definitely ornate with a vintage look! That is why I am so drawn to your cards, Becca. Of all the blogs that I used to follow only a few remain on my list…yours is #1!!! Thank you for all the inspiration over the years!
Lovely sentiment and colour. My style is clean lines….sometimes very ornate but usually more simple xx
My style is so varied, one day it’s ornate and the next time it’s simple and clean. I think I try to base it more on what the receiver likes. Cards no matter what style are a true joy to make and give.
Simple, simple, simple but I do like specialty folds.
Hi Becca love the card so clean looking ,l like to try all kinds of cards but l love mixing the dies to make a realy fussy card now and again Hugs linda
Hi Becca. Beautiful card again today, so elegant. Most of my cards tend to be quite simple, but occasionally I do try to make more ornate ones – just wish they would turn out as beautiful as yours! Hugs xxx
Definitely ornate! I have a Becca folder on my computer, and CASE your cards hahaha!
Aww such a lovely sentiment and card Becca, i make more simple cards if i have a few to make, sometimes i select one i like on Pinterest then have a go of copying it with the stash i have .
Elaine H X
What a wonderful card you have made for today, Becca!
So soft color, and the dies are beautiful.
My card style depends on whom is the recipient, but usually I tend to make cards in a romantic style with several layers, flowers and laces.
I also like clean and simple cards very much, but find it hard to do them myself.
Becca
I think your cards are stunning, I do not leave a daily comment as I live in the UK and not sure you would send a card over here, but your cards are so beautiful I look forward to seeing them every day. I really wish I had your talent to create such beautiful cards and the sentiments on them are inspiring.
Thank you
Kind regards Wendyx
Another beautiful card. If I am hand delivering the card, I go very ornate. If I am mailing the card I tend to make them less ornate. With postage getting so expensive, I might have to resort to very minimum cards. Higher cost, worse service.
I love ornate cards because I’m inspired by your cards.
This card is stunning. I love it. I try to keep my cards simple but elegant.
Another stunning card, Becca!
Thank you so much for sharing and inspiring us with your art from your heart!
I love the ornate cards!! Yours just wow me! I try to do ornate, but a lot of times they end up simpler. thanks for the chance to win.
Every day the next card becomes my favorite.
I make simple cards.
Love this card. Oval seems to be my favorite shape. Have to ask but what is the taupe color paper and ribbon color you are using???? They are beautifully matched and I love them. I really like this sentiment as well. Oh, and your tray that you are displaying this card on is beautiful as well!!!!!
Marcie
Marcie, thanks for your kind words. The paper is a muted green from a packet from Cardstock Warehouse and the ribbon is Vintage Gold satin ribbon from Paper Source.
I tend to make my cards more simple in design, but with lots of layers. This is a beautiful card!
My style of card is more ornate with shabby-chic look and lots of layering. Gorgeous card today!
Another beautiful card. Love the verse.
Another beautiful card!! My style is to be more ornate. I get a lot of my inspiration from your cards. Mine don’t quite compare, but if no one sees yours, they think mine are great. :-)
Oops forgot the comment! I do simple mostly.
I have a variety of ways I do cards, some can be very basis, while others will be layers upon layers with all kinds of things. I do love vintage and shabby-chic, so I do lean more towards that style. I too make my cards specific for the person I am making it for. I’ve accumulated a lot of dies and embossing folders and always try to use them in most of my cards. I am not a fan of cartoon type of cards so I stay away from that side of the spectrum. More realistic is my style. I love your cards and would love to own all the dies you have so I could scrap-lift all your designs.
Hi Becca,
I have not discovered my card style yet, I am trying things that I find to be interesting, unique, artistic and beautiful. I fluctuate between simple beauty to Becca Style.
Best,
Beverley
Hi Becca
My card style switches from between the extremes of stark white with a simply stamped sentiment to ornate with glitter, layers, ribbon and anything else I can throw on it :)
Your card today hit home today I love the sentiment – very apt for my life and situation. Thank you for sharing your gift with us.
Hello Becca!
Beautiful card and sentiment. we are heading home.
my card style would be more ornate, however I am
trying to learn clean and simple.
Have a great Day:)
Gorgeous card. My style is simple. Seldom ornate.
WOW!!! Saw this card over on Pinterest.
Elegant and Beautiful!!!
Marilyn C.
I absolutely love this card. It is so beautiful, as is all of your work. I generally prefer simple but elegant cards though I like them all. I try to make what I think the individual recipient will like best. Thank you for being such an inspiration and sharing your beautiful talent with us all.
My style is sort of in between. If I’m short on time, it tends to be more CAS. When I have more time I like to make them more ornate. Thanks again for sharing your cards and your expertise.
Hello Becca! I usually start out simple, but just keep going till my card is over the top! Lol
My cards are usually more ornate. They will have die cuts, bows, embossing, colored images, etc. I especially love putting a bow on a card and you’ve gotten to add a few pearls too. It’s surprising how a couple of them will dress up a card. That’s a very nice large die you used on this card.
Ornate! Love the glitz, ribbons and all the extras!
Hi Becca, I love this card, beautiful colours, beautiful die-cuts and bow and that sentiment is fabulous.
My card style is definitely not simple, I love vintage styles, I’m a ‘more is more’ girlie, and sometimes I have to ‘stop’ myself from putting ‘too much’ onto my cards hahahaha.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
You really challenge me and my mind to create new cards everyday they can not compare to the beauty of yours
I like more ornate cards. Yours are gorgeous
Blessings,
Kathleen
Oh my goodness Becca! What is my card style? As much like Becca Feeken’s as I can possibly do!!!!!
I fell in love with oval regalia as soon as it hit; this is the most beautiful card you have offered – well they are all beautiful but this is the cremedelacrem! Hope that how you spell that! LOL Today is my hubby’s birthday so hope I get picked for this one!! GOD BLESS YOU!
Hugs,
Mstgane
Ann Robbins
Awesome card. My card style is ornate when I’m making a one of a kind and simple when I’m making more than 6 at a time for my younger folks. As for your cards I would love to see one in person and learn how to make mine more elegant. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Becca
As always another BEAUTIFUL card.
My cards are some what similar to your cards, (Like everything to be just perfect) but without those beautiful bows. Don’t like shabby-chic very much.
Love Marion
It just depends on what the occasion and if I have allotted enough time to complete my idea. I would say the majority of my cards are simple, layered and a few embellishments. To design beautiful cards as yours, maybe someday. Many thanks for your generosity.
Hmm, good question. I guess it depends on the occasion and the recipient. I love the romantic elegance of your card style and I tend to make that type of card for weddings and anniversaries. I like to incorporate fun folds and unusual techniques into the cards I make for my gal pals, as we like to share new and different styles. The men in my life seem to get a simpler style, often with a touch of humor.
I love the dies on this one. Why is it that when I go to sites to look for them I never find them??? Anyway, my style is not plain, but not fancy either. Kind of halfway between. I am terrible at tying bows but love using diecuts, but the ones I have never seem to layer right. Oh well. I just keep on trying. I really don’t like a lot of “white” space on a card. I feel there always has to be something there.
I love this card & the sentiment!
I guess my style is “middle of the road”, layers, dies cuts & bling to “ornate”. I try very hard to mimic “Becca” cards!!
Love love your card today!!
I tend to do ornate, depending on who its for. There are a few friends that prefer clean and simple, but I still try to make it unique.
A cross between ornate and steampunk.
This card just takes my breath away. Truly gorgeous! I’m one of those ‘more is better’ folks and love to dress up my cards. I love the dies that have a lot of detail and by the time I’ve finished my card I want to keep it for myself. These are my miniature masterpieces. lol.
My style is more simple. Sometimes if I try to make ornate I think it looks as if I have added to much.
I make my cards simple but elegant, with bows as a big feature and pearls where necessary. Spellbinder dies are a must and I sincerely thank you for bringing us a great sample of the new ones as they come out. Your cards give great inspiration as to how to use the particular die.
Not ornate but not usually CAS. Elegant or graphic best describes my style unless I’m making fun punch art cards for my nephew :).
My card style is simple with a bit of ornate.Another beautiful card Becca.
Hi Becca I love the card and the verse is so true.
My style choice is somewhere between simple and ornate depending on the person it is going to.
God bless you,Katherine
this is gorgeous. I try to get ornate but I have a simple style.
It really depends on who I am making the card for and how much time I have to make the card. I love both styles!
Hi Becca, gorgeous card again today. Depending on the mood and the person the card is for I do both styles, prefer however ornate cards.Take care Jane B.
Well, if I had the funds to buy an embossing and cutting machine with all the fancy lacy dies I would say that my Cardmaking Style would be soft, romantic and lacy and very Victorian. But I digress….For now, they are simple digi stamps with colored pencils and ribbons :o)
My card style is more ornate. Every time I think I’m going to make a simple card I keep tweeking it until it becomes ornate. I just can’t seem to leave a simple card alone! I keep trying because I’ve seen many simple cards that I really like, but try as I might I just can’t seem to do it!
Hi, Becca,
One comment I read used the terms “filigree and fancy” and that would definitely describe my favorite style but I think “elegant” or “sophisticated” describe most of the cards I make.
In the past year, I’ve become hooked on cards that have cuts and folds – shutter cards are my favorite but I’ve also made waterfall cards, block cards and never-ending cards (kids really enjoy these because of their interactive character). Thank the Lord for YouTube tutorials!
Thank the Lord for you!
Blessings,
Sandy
Hi there,
I usually go for the somewhat layered and full. Altho I have enjoyed the CAS look as well. It’s hard not to just a this little embellishment, and maybe this little feature too, oh and why not this item as well…lol.
I love all that you do where do you get all the inspiration?
Really love that oval die and your card is beautiful! My style is similar to that of Christina Griffiths of Cardmakingmagic.com . I love frilly, lacey cards with lots of handmade flowers on them (I particularly enjoy making flowers), and most definitely have a love of all things pink. I would love to add more bows, but I seem to only manage smaller ones that look good. How I wish I could make the kind of bows you make so beautifully!
Morning Becca
I love making ornate cards with a shabby shek look.
But when I make a card I think (imagine) of the person receiving it or have enough info about the person to be given the card and then just let it all flow out of me. I try the look of different colours with different dies. But some people are rich color people some are planner color people. It’s hard to explain. Some a combination color people. A bit like an aurora they same some people have. Gee it sounds like a lot crap mumbo jumbo. LOL
Many thanks
Annamieke from the land down under
Becca just love your card for today and my style is more ornate than simple or sometimes in between.
Hugs Trish
I like to think my style is traditional to vintage. I love Victorian ornate, but lean toward a 1920’s style most often for cleaner lines and a bit less fussiness for sending to others. I have admired your work for several years and it only gets better by the day! Thank you for sharing your talent with all of us.
Such a heart warming sentiment and one that could apply to anyone. Your talent never ceases to amaze me as one as I am artistically challenged! I trust your blog to give me that ‘special’ card which most people need at some time or other and as you get older need them even more.
More your gift last for years and years to come.
Kath from acrosse the pond
Hi Becca! I absolutely LOVE this card and certainly hope that you draw my name for it, please, please! Love the light brown (beige? tan? sand-colored) textured cardstock and the really fancy oval die. My card style is definitely more on the ornate side. The front of my card is normally made up of many layers, and 99% of the time, at least one of those layers is a die-cut.
Wow! That is beautiful! Perfect for either male or female!!
I don’t do really simple cards very well, I look at them and always think they need something more. sometimes I do more ornate cards, learning how to layer from you, how to add different die sets to add different dimensions and of course I have learned How to make great photos with your bow maker! However I really look at the card and think I’ve done almost as well as Becca could do, I always think he would have done something a little different so that it would have more of a “wow” factor… but I am constantly learning constantly growing and constantly changing, & I think that is what we can truly half of our selves. thank you for your inspirations Becca!
I love elegant cards like this one. I can’t hardly stand to do one CAS… it always has to have a little something extra.
I love this color combination! My style is somewhere in between simple and more ornate. I do find I am not very comfortable with having plain card stock showing, but not big on lots of layers. A lot of time using Versamark and a related stamp on the layer of cardstock before affixing my main panel does the trick for me. BUT, I LOVE looking at your creations, no matter how many layers. Go figure! :)
I love everything about this—the color combination, the ribbon bow, the sentiment, and all the ovals, especially the filigree edge on the
largest one and the embossing on the central one. I would love to win this. My favorite style somewhat depends on the occasion,
simpler for young people’s events, sympathy, and masculine, but more ornate for feminine birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, and
sometimes get well.
Becca I love your cards! My cards never turn out like yours if I try to do something different. Also I do not have the range of dies. But I try! Simple is more what I achieve.
My style is usually more simple. I love the more ornate and would love to make more cards like that but I am usually running behind and simple is quicker. lol I have done a couple of your class you had for awhile and I really enjoyed those cards and the calendar one.
Good Morning (our time) what a gorgeous card love the colours even a touch
of green!
I just recently got the die you used so I will have something to work on.
I make cards for the person most times unless I am making cards to go in my stash .
Hope you all have a safe and happy weekend ! Well done to all the winners ,
WINERS ARE GRINNERS ……….. Not dancing round my table yet ha ha xxxxx
lovely card! I think my style falls between ornate and simple. I love lacy frilly cards and also clean and simple. I also love all kinds of pop up cards!
Your cards are always beautiful. I would have to rate the cards that I make as simple although I do like to add layers – nowhere near to compare to the ones you make.
Another stunner Becca – love it! My style is simple. I’d like to make some more intricate cards in the future. Thanks again for the wonderful 30 days of giving.
Oh, I like to make ornate cards – very detailed and intricate die cuts, dry embossed, heat embossed, layered with about 7 or 8 layers not counting ornamentations, bows, flowers and leaves, butterflies, and BLING! I also decorate the inside. Now when I make cards for men, I am challenged – can’t use all that bling, etc. I made my first wired ribbon bow for a card yesterday. Beautiful. I am still trying to make your style bow, but have not gotten there yet. You make the most gorgeous bows of anybody that I have seen. I like this new Spellbinders oval set. Will place this set on my “want list”. Thanks for sharing.
Good morning Becca, what a beautiful creation today!!! Love everything about this card!!! My style? Less is more? Loads of layers? Very chic?
It depends on the recipient!!! Wish mine were half has good as yours: )!!!
Good luck everyone!!!
Have a good one!!!
Loopy Lynda xxx
Hi Becca!
Oh what another lovely card! It is so amazing how Spellbinders really knocks it out of the park!
My style is totally ORNATE! I know my recipients have come to expect it now. I FEAR that if I try to do something more clean & simple they may think, “Eh! This is not a nice as the last one!”
Oh the HORROR!
Blessings,
Valerie
I like more ornate. That’s why I am your biggest fan… ever. I just sit and really study your cards. I really don’t know how you come up with your layers! And your colors! I mean, really. White and beige? Who does that?! You are amazing.
Good Evening, Becca. I love the ovals on today’s card and the sentiment about “no matter what road you travel, you are always going home” is very poetic. In answer to today’s question: my usual card style is on the ornate side. I use multiple layers and lots of embellishments or die cuts. You’ve always been a great inspiration to me for the great Spellbinder examples of what is possible for really beautiful cards. I can almost get a perfect bow because I’ve had your bow maker for some time, although I do have to review the CD now and again.
Without a doubt, ornate! All my friends whom I craft with, all know I follow you..If I am short on time, I will use my cricut explore, and then try to “dress” it up. I needed a quick thankyou card yesterday, my husband said it is “okay”. He notices that it was not made with my spellbinders dies. If he wants me to make a card, it is never clean and simple, it is always layered. It is that time thing that sometimes makes a difference . :)
Hi Becca, I make some cards that are clean & simple, but I prefer more ornate, classy, girly cards. Those are the ones that I really put my heart into, and I usually have a special person in mind while making them. I love looking at your lovely cards for inspiration! Thank you for trying to keep the written word alive, and for sending The Word and His love along with your cards.
Hi Becca,
You make the best bows. I make the card according to the person I am sending it to. For other stampers I just a more ornate card. If it is going overseas I make it nice but not so fancy.
IF it is for children, Then I make it simple.
gorgeous card!! I think it is kind of in between, lol. I don’t like a lot of white empty space but neither do I like one where ever inch has something going on. does that make sense? lol I don’t even know what style I make. I just know what I like and go from there.
Lovely card and lovely sentiment. My style is somewhere between simple and ornate. I do like to keep my cards from being too dimensional due to shipping cost.
God bless,
PeggyA
I attempt to do more ornate but end up with something simple! LOL! Beautiful card!!
Good eveing Becca I just love this card it is so beautiful but then again all you cards are so gourious ,
Oh what a pretty card. I like to do my cards more ornate. Ornate background with added flowers and ribbon. Now if it is for a male recipient I will do less ornate and omit the flowers but may add a chloe stem and some greenery.
Coffee and cream, ribbons and pearls! Exquisite!
I do both simple and ornate, depending on the recipient. I find some people like clean and simple, others like extra embellishments, so I try to make to suit.
Hugs

Becca, I love your style and you give great inspiration with your blog. My style depends on how I am feeling. I love to make crisp clean cards sometimes and other times I love to make something lacy with flowers and bows. It also depends on the recipient buy I prefer to make feminine elegant cards with ribbons lace and flowers.
Thank you again for your inspiration.
Margaret
I tend to lean toward the more ornate cards. It takes longer but I love doing them. Like your card here today, so pretty!. Blessings, Lisa
My card style leans toward simple. When I see cards that are ornate, I wish I could do that. Then I want to get the supplies used to make the card. A bit of self control is exercised, I look in my supplies to see what I have that could work. It may be on the simpler side, but still very pretty. Doesn’t mean I won’t splurge later.
Your card is Gorgeous today, Becca, like everyday! You are simply amazing!
My style is somewhere in between simple and ornate. I don’t like a card to be too busy, but I do want it to be interesting to the receiver. Not sure if that makes sense or not……LOL. Hugs, Pat
Beautiful card Becca! My style has become more ornate after studying your cards over the years! Thank you for inspiration!
It all depends on my mood & time I have. Most of the time simple!
My style is somewhere between simple and ornate. I like to do a lot of detail work but my style is not all lacy and ribbons.
I love to make both simple and ornate cards. The simple cards are easy to make in multiple quantities. And each elaborate cards can be made with extra love and care for the recipient.
Absolutely love this card. Love the colors and your bows are gorgeous. My style is simple even though I love the ornate I have not yet attempted to do it, hopefully soon as your cards are such an inspiration.
Oh my what a beautiful card today I am going to try something like that with what dies etc I have. I do not expect it to be as lovely as yours but if I ever come even half as beautiful with my creations I will be so happy.
My cards are usually more simple but I have often made a special effort for special people in my life and always feel good to see the card when finished. We have all been blessed with 24hrs in our days but often it would be so good to have a few more for our craft.

Wow. This sentiment really hits home with me. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful card. Depending upon how much time I have will decide my style. I love using lots of layers when I have time to create but sometimes I need a quick and simple card.
I am told my card style is elegant…I consider it clean and elegant. Thanks for your 30 days of questions…certainly makes one stop and think!!! FUN!!!
Lovely card Becca!
Paper Hugs,
Jan
I make my cards more ornate. When I try to make a simple card, it looks like it needs more. Thank you again for having this contest. What a nice way to give us a part of you.
Beautiful card today Becca. Would love to win this one. I make special cards for special friends.
Mostly ornate- well I try to make ornate…lol.
Hi Becca,
What a lovely card, like how you put all the different ovals together. My style of card making it depends on my mood some times simple or more fussy and who I am making it for.
My favorite card is the orate/vintage. Love your card today!!!
I am not sure if I relly have a style. It just depends on what time I have to make the card. I am still a beginner & a bit of an amateur. So I am still learning new things everytime. Your tutorials are so helpful, thank you for sharing. So I suppose my answer is simple. x
Thanks for sharing another AMAZING card today! My card style is simple although sometimes it turns into ornate.
Hi Becca – your card today is a stunner!!! Love the quote, it is so true for those of us who love the Lord. My card style could be described as fluid or eclectic – tending towards CAS overall though.
Blessings
Maxine
I always say ” I’m going to make this card quick and simple ” I don’t think I know the meaning. I can’t stop until it is elaborate. And I love looking through the elaborate ones to get ideas. Even the ones I make for the grandkids end up being very elaborate. I’m hooked!!!!!!
This card is so elegant and is just my style. Normally I love color but I’ve learned from you that neutral tones can add more elegance to a card. I also love beautiful bows and your cards always have fabulous bows. Thank you for this giveaway and sharing your cards.
Well, my style is layered, die cut, blingy & embellished. Very seldom do I make a CAS card. I may try, but succeeding is another story! I do admire others’ cards that are more simple, but I have a very hard time making them. I am such a rebel!
I love the way you framed the sentiment on today’s card with the various ovals… am especially liking the large Spellbinders Oval Regalia studded with half pearls. Lovely! I usually make my cards for a specific person and tailor images and paper choice toward their interest. The thing I include in most of my card making is some sort of unique fold or pop-up.
Beautiful card and sentiment. I would love to win this one, it reminds me of a couple of Irish trad sentiments.
I like them both, I can make the simple better of course but I really love the ornate too I just can not make them as good as others but I am trying maybe one day I will be good at is too, I hope! I love this card Becca, it is so gorgeous.
My card style is definitely ornate and often as engineeringly creative as I can think up. I love cards that pop up, fold out, flip or just have people saying how did you do that. Of course there is a downside, as my husband puts it, I need to send instructions with many of my cards. Thanks for sharing. I love all your cards.
I think I don’t have a particular style. But I go between clean and simple, one layer cards… to multilayers with some low profile embellishments. If it would require more postage, I don’t make it. Thanks for a chance to win. Jess
Hi Becca, I call this card simple elegance but the beautiful bow moves it into the ornate. Both styles are effective. I believe the simple is harder to design because so much depends upon color selection, placement, size of elements. Not easy unless you have your talent. I tend to go for ornate to show the recipient that at least effort went into the card if not talent and all the layering dies from Spellbinders makes it easy to do. Keep sharing and I’ll keep duplicating. Nothing wrong with going with success. Thanks for your designing efforts, always winners whether ornate or simple.
Hi Becca, yet another beautiful card. My cards tend to be simpler affairs. I am hoping some of your style rubs off on me as I admire your cards so much.
Hope to see much more of that gorgeous style. Love Julie x
Happy Friday Becca! My style is ornate. I make all of my own flowers and put them on layers of cardstock or boxes. Each card/box takes quite awhile to make because the person I give them to holds a special part in my heart, and I want them to know how special they are to me. Your cards are so beautiful. You inspire me! Thank you so much for sharing a part of your heart with all of us.
My style is definitely simple, particularly compared to your beautiful cards. Even your “simple” cards are so gorgeous. It’s great fun to learn from you. Thanks for sharing
Becca you NEVER disappoint. I love how you layer die cuts and use ribbon bows. You are the BEST!!!
Hi Becca,
What a gorgeous card and such a beautiful sentiment, love it. My cards are usually quite simple, only because when I try to make one more ornate, which I adore, they never seem to work out lol!
Love & Hugs

Beautiful card. It was easy for me because my Grandmother and Nana crafted out of necessity, taught my mother, my mother taught me, I taught my daughters and then my granddaughter. Crafts varied from quilting, smocking, latch hook, crochet, knitting, cross stitching and now paper crafting. I pray it continues.
Hi Becca. I spend about 2 hours a day having nebulizers and find this great craft time. I love your inspirations. Estelle
