Good morning sweet friends. I have another new card to share today, I hope you don’t mind – it’s the card being given away for the 30 Days of Giving. I have plenty of cards in my stash but I simply can’t resist playing with new toys that come in. I don’t know about you, but creativity doesn’t strike me one card at a time :-) When it strikes I have to rearrange and go with it. The other day I spread out on my counter and shuffled things around. My card today uses an interesting piece from Spellbinders Victorian Bow Corner, except, I’m using it upside down – it’s so pretty both ways. I mounted in on a panel that I detailed with a line of piercing using my Tool N’ One (see below). My focal panel is layered on top of Spellbinders Adorning Labels Twenty Five.. It is all finally mounted onto Spellbinders Grate Effect that gives wonderful detail to my background.
If you’re new to the blog, welcome to my 30 Days of Giving – every day during the month of July I’m giving away a handmade card – you can read all the specifics HERE. You can check to see if you’ve won a card by searching for your name on the Giveaway Winners page. You get there by the menu at the top of the page – put your cursor on Features then look down the list and select Giveaway Winners.
For today’s comment – How do you craft when creativity strikes, a big session or a little at a time?
Rubber Stamps: Wordsworth – Comfort Collection
Craft Paper: Neenah Classic Crest Solar White – 80 lb smooth, My Minds Eye, Colorbok Craft
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black and clear embossing powder
Accessories: Spellbinders Victorian Bow Corner, Spellbinders Adorning Labels Twenty Five, Spellbinders Grate Effect, Tool N’ One, May Arts Silk Ribbon, Button, The Paper Studio Pearls
Happy Friday and hugs to you all!
While I would love to craft all day when inspiration strikes, I seldom can fit in more than an hour or so. Still, it’s fun to get something done when that flash of inspiration hits.
Another beautiful card, thanks for sharing.
Becca I always learn something from you. You are so creative!!! I want ALL your cards.
On most occasions, I craft until I run out of steam and for the rest, until the object is complete.
Cheers,
Beverley
I usually do a pretty big session of crafting when the urge strikes! Love the way you used the dies on this card – so striking!
When I get to crafting I go BIG… I like to spend time doing it. I’ve even taken a day off work (pre-planned) to spend the day at home in my scrapbook room! Becca, your creations are absolutely awe inspiring – I would love to know how you come up with your ideas. You may have said before but I am not always able to keep up with your blog. By the way, I love the new look! :) God bless and Happy Crafting!
Unfortunately, limited time only allows me maybe 2 hrs, but when creativity strikes, I can get a lot done in 2 hrs.
Love your card!
Hi Becca,
Beautiful card I don’t know how you come up with your ideas and the way you use the dies. When I craft and get an idea I will do it in small bits and take my time. You inspire me to try using my dies in different ways.
Big Session! I am like a fanatic until I get it done, I just can’t walk away.
A beautiful card today. I get so little time to craft but when I do I love the feeling of being creative. Xx
I try to strike while the iron is hot (so to speak) and get a lot done. However, time usually interferes and I’ll have to quit all too soon.
Lovely card. When creativity strikes I have just go with it until it runs out. I love how many cards I can make in my sleep too lol……or is that just me?
I try to do more than one at a time, although that sometimes is not always possible!
A little of both. In the “design” phase, it could easily be an all nighter, but production is a bit here and there. Beautiful card, Becca!
I’m like, full steam ahead, when I get into my creative mojo going! Lovely card today! Happy Friday!
A least once a month I set and do 12 of the same card for a club I belong to, I try to slip in a little more times whenever I can….I’m retired and like they say, I don’t know how I had time to work before ….I’m so darn busy now….love how u turned the corners around, just love all your cards….
Definitely a big session………I take advantage of a surge of creativity by spending time creating something! Lovely card today, Becca! But, your cards are ALWAYS lovely! Blessings, Pat
Just a little at a time usually. I just don’t have the time to sit for a marathon session. Sure wish I did tho!
I love all the layering and details on this beautiful card!
I do a little here, a little there. Can never seem to find time for a block of time to create!
I craft until the mojo leaves me or my time runs out. we have a womem’s tri-annual get together and I try to have ideas that I want to work on… at the ready so when I have the time I can just have at it. these are perfect opportunities. then late on sat. (if i’m lucky) my mojo just sails away. I wish it would at least send a postcard from where it goes. then i’m done, until it comes home. todays card is beautiful as always. love the upside down corner.
What a Beautiful card. I do a little at a time. I do try to get them done sooner but because of my 3yr old Granddaughter its very hard to finish. thanks
Hi Becca, A beautiful card again and love the sentiment!Thank you for your inspiration. I would love to craft all day! But when inspiration hit me I make time till the card ,painting ,dress or what ever is finished. Aren’t we lucky to be able to do mostly what we like to do?! Take care Jane B.
I tend to craft in a BIG session. I have a tv in my craft room and I have it on all the time just to tell time. My husband makes fun of me, but when the news comes on, I know it’s time to quit for the night. Otherwise I would craft until the wee hours of the morning. Then I can’t wait to get off work to get back to crafting. Do you think I have a problem?
Your cards are absolutely stunning. When I get the urge to create something I like to make it a marathon. Time flies by and creating is so relaxing.
Another beautiful card Becca. I have followed your blog for several years and am always amazed. Thank you so much for all of the inspiration you provide.
Good Morning Becca. Loved The layering of the card today and the Grate Effects background die. I’ve been wondering what to do with this die; now I have some good ideas–thanks to your inspiration. As to the question asked today: when creativity strikes, it is usually late at night and I’m in it for the long haul. I’ve watched the sun come up (the only way I see a sunrise as I’m so NOT a morning person) finishing up a project on which I’ve worked all night. It is so exciting to have ideas that you just have to see them work out “for real!”
Oh my gosh, there are times when I sit at my desk & fiddle around with some paper & dies & never make a thing. No mojo. ????
Then, usually when I am in the middle of making dinner, cleaning, trying to sleep, the light bulb goes off! Wham! ???? I have a great idea. I can fly through a project that turns out beautiful! Then I don’t want to stop. I just want to keep going, & going, & going, & going. Poof! Just like that, some piece of reality rears its ugly head & I have to stop. ( sometimes it’s my dog needing attention, or my husband. Imagine that!)
Every once in awhile, I do actually spend a small amount of time with great results. But usually, I am binging. ????
Just beautiful! Please, please ask me to send my address! To answer your question, I have a really hard time settling in but once I get going I am on a roll. So I prefer large chunks of time to craft.
When creativity strikes, I like to have a big session, no food, no drink. Many times, however, it will take several days for me to complete one special card. When that happens, I do spread out the “playing time” into shorter sessions. Piercing is one of my favorite techniques to use on my card layers. I like this Spellbinders Victorial Bow Corner. You are so creative to turn this corner pointing to the special message on your card.
Well Becca, with my grandchildren off on Summer brake and my Triathlon training, I make cards whenever I find a little window of time, my hubby comes home at around 3:30pm. and we usually go out with the kiddos or by ourselves. I love participating in challenges, they usually last one week so, I can make one or two cards a week to submit to them. Crafting is my way to recharge my batteries, the other way is to go for a bike ride or a nice long swim.
Thank you for offering your amazing cards for us to win, I hope today is my lucky day.
Hugs.
Maria.
Once again another amazing creation, I have to try this for sure
Unfortunately life seems to get in the way of a marathon crafting time so mine is usually short sessions! Thanks for the chance to win another beautiful card!
This card is sheer elegance today! It will serve as a source of inspiration in my humble endeavors!
My creative juices usually flow most freely when I’m in the midst of a project. As I look at various things that inspire me and generate ideas, I find the creativity begin to flow which concludes when the card is completed and I feel a sense of satisfaction with how it turned out.
Sadly, just a little at a time because a longer session just doesn’t seem to work out. Another very lovely card, Becca.
That’s a tough question. I guess it all depends on the time I have towards a project and the need of completion. Quiet often, I’m asked by someone at church to make them a card (they donate money to a church project). I try to have some parts to a card already to go for those who ask and need it the next day. That way I keep the stress down on my part.
It is rare when I have a block of time to work start to finish on a craft project so I parcel it out…evenings after work or weekends usually.
Thank you for the chance to win one of your amazing pieces of art!
Oooooooh this isa lovely new die……Bekka Feeken! You are so bad for my budget!!! I’m afraid my motto is ‘go big or go home’ so when it’s time, the kitchen table disappears under photos/paper/tools unless it’s summertime…then we have landscaping projects
Creativity clearly strikes you a Lot Becca because you produce such wonderfully beautiful cards, like today’s! Because I have to work in the dining room I tend to craft big sessions at a time and if I think of something different, I sketch it out in readiness for when I am able to get started.
Doreen R from Bournemouth UK
Another Beauty! For someone who LOVES COLOR….I am a HUGE fan of your monochromatic designs!
Since having to go back to work full-time. (after 19 yrs. UGH!) I have little to no time to create. (tears) So when I do manage to squeeze it in b/c of necessity, I is in a big session.
Valerie
I do a big session as I never know when the creativity will strike again. It also depends on how much time I have to be creative. Another gorgeous card.
I usually craft a little at a time. I probably craft a maximum of an hour or two end up coming back later and finishing up whatever I am working on (mostly cards). I don’t seem to have the attention span to do much longer then that at a time. Or sometimes I feel like it’s not coming together right so I walk away and try again later. :-)
I’m going to go poor with all the Spellbinder dies I have purchased since day 1 started! Thanks for all the good ideas. Creativity can come at any time but sometimes it is not a good time. I might work on a project for a long time and other times just a little. It all depends what’s going on around the house.
Another beautiful card!!! I craft in a long session if I’m in the mood!!
It just depends on what else is going on at the time. If I am real creative I like to keep going while ideas are flowing! Pretty card!!
BIG! I ger hyper-focused!
I try to follow the advice “Create something every day,” which may take the form of stamping something to get it ready for coloring, assembling a card, or just coloring some images. I tend to stockpile things and then have big marathons of card making. This is such a beautiful card! I never win anything, but I appreciate the opportunity to be in the running!
Donna
I would love to craft all day but time is of the essence. When making cards with friends, I tend to spend more time than when I’m alone at home. Appreciate the opportunity to win. Thank you!
It all depends on how much time I have and who or what the card is for. Unfortunately I don’t have your aptitude for such gorgeous cards, but I so love to create how or whenever I can.
thanks for sharing.
Hi Becca,
This card is also very beautiful…..love it!
XX Ellen
I craft both ways, sometimes it is a really big session, other times I just sit down and make 1 card!
What a beautiful card, Becca. I love the sentiment, and it is so clever the way you used the corner upside down to showcase it. Just beautiful!
To answer your question, when I am inspired I like to go for it and crank out as much as I have time for. It is never long enough!
I craft in both ways. I love to go to crops with friends and then I do a lot of card making. That usually happens about 4 times a year. At other times I hunker down to my desk and make cards for 3 or 4 hours at a time. Often half of that time is design thinking. Either way works for me. Then there is the “oops I forgot to get a card ready for someone’s birthday etc.”…that is usually one I already designed but just had to sit down and make it. Those are about 1 hour or less to create and get into the mail!
I just go for it when creativity strikes. Love the motivation it gives me! Your card is beautiful. I really like how you use dies in different ways! So pretty!
Hi Becca. Love todays beautiful card – another stunning creation :-) If I am feeling really inspired I can make quite a few cards at once, but then I can go a while without making any! I am lucky enough to have Monday’s off work, so I usually like to get some crafting done then :-) Hugs xxx
Love the card and the piercing. I do a bit of both. Long sessions tend to happen more often in the winter months for me. Some times a quick crafty fix is all the time I have. A little is better than nothing.
Gorgeous creation! It all depends on how much time I have! Sometimes I only have a little time and other times I have all night!
Hi Becca, Another fabulous delight for us today and that is just the bow! Does the well never, ever run dry?
Usually I only make cards close to the date it is required. For me it is necessary to have someone in mind or I’m totally blocked. This even applies to Christmas cards! I can endorse the saying ‘it is possible to think too much’ but I don’t know how to stop. How sad!
And you´ve just done it again today Becca, and made such an amazing card here. Sooo elegant and beautiful as usual.
I try to take it in small steps if my creativity strikes, and then some times I just fall over something really exiting by accident, so I habve to give it a try, or some times it can be a friend comming over, who´s bringing the interest back again, or something quite different again, but I´ll never get on with a larger project, if I´ve been a bit stuck for a while, then it´s better to go easy then, I´ve learned.
I craft when creativity strikes me. I have to be in the mood or I struggle the whole time. Doesn’t take much for the mood to strike me though! :)
Stunning card again Becca! Please bring your bow maker back!!
I prefer big session crafting. I like to start a project and work on it for hours and move on to something else. i don’t always have time for big sessions and have to craft in bits & pieces. That always seems to take longer & takes the fun out of crafting for me.
This card is awesome today. When creativity strikes I usually work until my project is finished. Sometimes a long session, others not so long. I do love working in my craft room, though.
HI Becca! When creativity strikes, I like to do as much as I can – as who knows when it will strike again! Thank you for the chance to win!
Well, my crafting efforts are small. I usually will do one card in a session as I have a bad back and that’s about all it can take!
Now that I am retired I pretty much craft when the mood strikes…or when I have a deadline to get a card in the mail on time :) I rarely finish a card at one sitting – I have found if I let it sit overnight and view again the next day, I can tweak it to be even better than I had originally planned.
Hello Becca,
I feel as though this card was meant to be. The words are so apt and the card is beautiful. Bereavement is never easy, is it?
I am hoping that my creative urge will start again soon, and when it does I tend to go on and on. Different types of cards, different seasons and even ATC’s, I love them all.
Love Maureen xxx
Becca, you do make the most beautiful cards! Your bows are so classy!
I fit crafting in, as and when! Sometimes in short bursts, sometimes in longer sessions – but often well past midnight :o)
Thank you again for these fabulous giveaways!
Hugs

Wow! Another gorgeous new card. Love all the dies you used. Gotta have them all. When creativity strikes I like to keep at it because I never know when it will strike again. Sometimes though I have to do just a little at a time because of time limitations.
Hi Becca
Beautiful Card as always! When I get creative I tend to spend a long stint crafting (playing).
I try to do as much as I can as I don’t have a dedicated space where I can craft. Lovely card Becca.
When I find something I want to do I start and usually don’t stop until it is done. I may have to do it 2 or 3 times to get it so I like it but usually don’t stop until I feel good about it.
I love how you layer the spellbinder dies. I learn so much from your beUtiful cards. Thanks for sharing your great cards.
Mojo? Hahahahahaha!! If I need to make a card or several I go to Pinterest or APG, find a card I like/love & do my best to re-create it. I admit it, I can’t create from scratch, I plagerize…but I give credit due for my “creation”. Thanks for the chance to win!
Wonderful card! Unfortunately in this season of my life I can only craft as time allows & not always as creativity demands. ;)
Good morning Becca, oh dear me!!! You are in my opinion one sweet angel from heaven above!!!Bless you you sweet lady!!! Your talent is truly amazing!!!
Your gift today is fabulous!!!
You have to craft when the juices start to flow, the times I’ve sat not knowing what to do, you have to walk away and come back!!!
Good luck everyone!!!
Loopy Lynda xxx
When creativity strikes, I like to craft as long as I possibly can; experimenting with as many variations on a theme as time will allow. Many times I will start out with one card or project in mind but by making a few small tweaks here and there I also have an entirely different project.
Stunning card, Becca. Thanks for sharing your talent.
Becca, some day I hope to be half as good as you are!!! Amazing!!!!!
Gorgeous card! As much as I’d love to, I can never craft for long as there’s always some interruption…usually cooking.
A beautiful card once again. Becca, all your cards are just amazing!
I do a little bit of both, it depends on how much time I have for crafting.
If I have a deadline for some ordered projects, I keep on working until they are finished, even if that means both day or night ;)
Another new card…love the combo of dies used…very creative and effective!!! My crafting sessions run anywhere from short bursts to all day or maybe several days depending on the project. I have several long projects that I need to complete but sometimes finding the block of time is daunting!
I usually only make 1 card at a time.
I am in love with your creativity. ..
thanks for sharing your creative ideas. I am so much encouraged to make such a beautiful creation.
Yikes! when the moment of enlightenment strikes the world around me stops. It’s a whirlwind affair digging through everything and prepping my work table for several hours of production. My husband also knows it’s time to disappear and go fishing. The first card always takes the longest because I’m trying to piece together a vision with the ‘right’ pieces. There is no time for snacking or bathroom breaks until I feel satisfied with the end product. Then I make at least 3 more of the same for the future. Then it’s break time until the next inspiration hits.
I have to plan for time to craft and just hope creativity strikes during that time! Usually I plan for several hours to the entire day.
Good day Becca,
I am always so busy that I have to do a little at a time. Only on Tuesday night do I get together with about 5-6 others and some times creativity doesn’t always lend itself to the timing but if it does, I try to finish right then. Otherwise, I have to try to remember the plan and do it as soon as I can get back to it. If it is a rush to get mailed I try to make the amount of time it will take to finish it. About as clear as mud, right?
Thanks for the tip on the piercing technique. This is a wonderful card and I would sure love to have it. Thanks for all you do for our hobby!!
Hugs

Big session. Gotta strike while the iron is hot.
Lovely card. Great quote.
This sentiment is definitely for me today!! A beautiful card. I do tend to do a little every day but when the muse strikes then I just have to keep going until I’ve got it of of my system and finished my projects. That’s one of the advantages of not having to go out to work now! Hugs Christine xx
Being retired I have the luxury of spending time every day on crafting!
When the inspiration hits I work at it till it’s done. A lot of times if I go to bed thinking about a particular idea, I’m up at 3:00 AM putting it together. I too like to try different variations of my ideas.
Becca a beautiful card again this morning, I craft with friend twice a week and then by myself whenever I get an idea.
Hugs Trish.
I generally craft a little at a time. I have RA and sitting to long hurts my back and my hips. I try to break up my cards I need for the month into weeks of two or three at a time if possible.
What a beautiful card. Simple but elegant. Creativity strikes when I least expect it sometimes. When it does, it all depends on how much time I have. If it’s a day where I have nothing planned I just lose myself in it. Other times I work for as much time I have before my mojo goes away.
Another lovely card today. You certainly have an eye for making a beautiful design. Thanks for sharing. My crafting mostly comes a little at a time.
When I get an idea, I like to keep creating & change the idea around.
Love your cards, Becca
Need to dig out several of these dies and play. Beautiful card, as always. When creativity strikes, I just do as much as I possibly can before running out of steam. If it’s an hour fine, if it’s 10 hours that’s fine too.
Happy Friday, Becca,
This daily focus on paper crafting is a blessing in my life right now – two people close to me are seriously ill and having this joy every day helps to keep me in balance. I have been spending a little time each day working on my own cards. As I write this, I am made aware that creativity plays this role in my life all the time but right now I have a heightened awareness.
It usually takes a while before the creative ‘juices’ starts to flow and, for that, I like big sessions to give myself permission to play as much as possible!
Love & blessings,
Sandy
Wonderful card Becca and love the Shakespeare quote. When my creativity strikes, I tend to craft for a very long time, sometimes the whole day, if what I’m envisioning is working out.
Another day, another beautiful card. :-)
I love spending time crafting, the hours slip by so fast!
Try to put aside at least a few hours at a time.
Hi Becca another beautiful card and verse, love it !,
It depends if i have a lot of time to do a batch of cards ,more often than not when i get the urge it is to do a little at a time .
When inspiration hits. It takes the time it takes to produce what you visualise in your head. Me it can take days to sort out the colors co ordinate, the dies the ribbon and other embellishments. Then there is this thing that I call a comfort zone feeling with what I am making be it card scrap or fabric.
If I don’t have that comfort feeling I leave it for a while them come back. If I don’t leave it just doesn’t turn out satisfying enough.
Annamieke from the land down under.
By the way, and for me it goes unsaid. Your card and all your cards are awesome always
Both, I guess. Sometimes I just need a card or a small gift and that will be all I do. But, when the bug hits, just try to get me out of the crafting loft!!
Sorry, hit that comment button too quickly. I keep forgetting to ask where you find your ribbons? They are always so stunning on your gorgeous cards!
Hi Susie, for the most part I use May Arts Ribbon. My ribbon of choice is silk :-) I also use Hug Snug seam binding.
I love crafting marathons! Sometimes life doesn’t allow for marathon crafting, but hours of task commitment to a project is my favorite way to create. Your card, as usual, is lovely; the sentiment is a blessing!
If it’s a creative lightening bolt, I do one big session especially if I can see different variations. While everything is out, make use of it. If there are elements that I can see but not a complete design, I mull it over & do it in increments as the design comes to me.
Hi Becca- Your card is another beauty! I love the Grate Effects die because it gives detail and texture to the background of the card. All the dies that go with the Adorning 25 dies are a favorite of mine. I love the shape and turning the Victorian Bow Corner die upside down is so creative.
When I craft, I tend to work as long as I can. If that means an all nighter, then I stay up. I’ll even forget to stop to eat. My wonderful husband will remind me or bring me something but once I get going and the MOJO starts, I find it difficult to stop.
So pretty! The Lord is always there for us. I go in little bursts almost daily. The only time I really put in an all out effort is for Christmas. Then you better be eating out cause every counter in the kitchen is covered! Thanks again for sharing. Blessings, Lisa
I don’t normally do a single card. I do several at a time.
Hi Becca
I craft every spare minute I have.
And your card today is gorgeous
Love Marion.
Hi Becca , lovely card as always ! I do both just depends on other things and what time I have.
I find I do better in the mornings so then have to make an early start to
fit in my (home duties) Happy weekend everyone ! I am going to do some shuffling ……….. Xxxxxxx
Oh My Goodness this card is so lovely! You continue to amaze me with your gift of Creativity!
As for myself I can only craft in 15 minute increments due to bodily pain i have in my lower spine, hips and hands, wrists and elbows due to various diseases.
Man , I sure wish I could craft like a normal person can, but the main thing is that I am still able to do it in short spurts. Which is a small blessing.
When it strikes, I start out with the best intentions of spending most of my day in my craft room. It usually doesn’t happen. I’m good for about 2 hours. Then I’m up and on to something else. But those are really good 2 hours!
I adore this card, it is so elegant. The colors are so pretty together and love these dies, going on my wish list! I do it both ways, some times it just hits me and a create for a long time, other times I know I have to do some cards and sit down and create what ever it is I need then quit because I just don’t have an idea of any others to do.
It’s like a marathon. Once I start, I can’t stop!
I do both. Sometimes I go down just to get a sample going so I can make more than one. But then other days I go and go to get a lot of cards done, especially at Christmas and Easter. Just depends on my mood. Your cards are just beautiful. Thanks again for this fun time.
It is so great to look at these beautiful cards I want them all
PLEASE
I always make several at a time if I like how it turned out. My brother and sil were here (SD) from Tucson for 3 days and we had such a good time BUT I am ready to get my fingers going again because on Tues. I will be having carpal tunnel surgery and that will be a stop for awhile, I’m afraid. Very lovely card, Becca.
Beautiful card Becca! Thanks too ffor r telling me where the winner page can be found – LOL! My mind did not think of Features! When creativity strikes, i jump on it if at all possible, and work as long as possible…usually late into the night!
Paper Hugs,
Jam
Usually a big craft session. However, if I am preparing my pieces for the assembly stage, then, I will create a few pieces during spare minutes.
Even though I am retired I often have to craft in small sessions due to other commitments but my favorite is spending an afternoon creating! Becca, I so enjoy seeing your creations and today’s is absolutely gorgeous. I love you choice of sentiment also!!
Very Beautiful!
Another beauty Becca! When I get an idea, which is usually a take on something you’ve done, I create immediately until I get the look I want. Sometimes, I throw and redo which can happen often with one card but I continue until I am satisfied with the final product. Then, I make 4 more!
Hi Becca,
Another elegant beautiful card today.
How so I craft when inspiration strikes? Usually I craft most days, and mostly to make something that has been ordered. I often plan in my head first before going to the craftroom and sometimes things just happen and my project turns out differently from how I planned. I love to craft either with going to a plan or just freestyling, inspiration just comes all sorts of ways. I hope I get a chance to receive one of your cards, they are all beautiful.
Thank you again for this lovely 30 days of giving.
Margaret
What a beautiful quote. So inspirational and another gorgeous card. When creativity strikes, quite often I go till I have to stop for food or sleep. Sometimes I go back and work more and other times, depending upon the piece, I’m done for the day.
U usually craft a little at a time unless I’m getting together with friends. That will end up being a big session.
Usually,, I craft for long periods of time.
Both! It really depends on the time I have and what I need to accomplish. When inspiration hits,I go to my craft room and work until I am done.
I do both long involved sessions and a bit at a time. The long sessions take place when there are meals cooked, laundry done, house clean, etc. Only then do I seem to be able to relax into it. This goes for straightening the craft room, too. Once in a while there is an all-out tidy-up-or-drown session. I do get in for a few minutes at a time, now and then, to put a few things away before I am buried by bits and pieces. And, if I’m working on a project or two, I will jump in to take a second look and add or take away.
Hi Becca, want a great card love everything about it.
When my creativity stricks and God willing I’ll craft for hour.Other times just until the project at hand is finished.
God bless,Katherine
I craft in segments of time at allowed by my schedule. I prefer the longer times. Thank you for sharing your lovely cards.
God bless,
Peggy
Ok, so this card is right up there with my other Becca-favs-now-I-gotta-go-buy-the-dies card.
Hmm? Is “all of the above” an option for answering this question?! I work 70+ hours a week. So I will craft when given the opportunity -‘either a binge craft day, or a stolen minute to glitter and glue.
Becca,
Another beautiful card. When the inspiration hits, I like to create all day if I have time. Actually, I like to create/play in my craft room with or without inspiration. It brings me such peace.
Becca,
Gorgeous card, love that ribbon!
Lately I like to create a batch of cards at one sitting. This helps so I have cards on hand and so I can take photos of the cards I create, just in case I forget before giving them away.
I caft as time permits . When an idea comes to mind I try to draw a sketch so I will remember when i get time to craft. Love your ideas can’t wait to win one of your cards.
Good evening Becca ,I enjoy cardmaking ,winter time allows me to do it more often then in the summer, so I turn to your website and enjoy looking at your buetiful cards ,you are such a blessing to me.
I would love to craft ‘as inspired’, but life has handed me responsibilities that preclude that, so generally I craft on a Sunday afternoon, and occasionally other times…. if I really have a great idea and cannot craft, I will jot down notes!
Thank you Becca for your generosity this month.
Blessings

Great Card Becca. You have shown me something today which I have not thought about doing, so now I am challenged to try this as I have several corner dies. When crafting I do both. Sometimes it will be a whole day creating maybe just one card to get all the colors I wish to incorporate for that special person I am sending a card to. When sending multiple cards for special holidays and I have already a template I can usually go much faster. Saving cards with a history of how I did it helps a lot.
Great card. I love all the different labels.
Thank you for sharing your cards.
Another beautiful card.
I craft in big chunks at a time.
I don’t like little bits at a time, if I can help it.
When I get inspiration I need to get it out before I forget.
I adore this card. I love the verse., I am always crafting in snippets of time. On occasion I can get a few hours. Usually an half hour or hour here. Which is hard, Mr Car is a cleanie. ;) I like to look at colors awhile in different lights. He likes to worship clean counters. ;)
When creativity strikes I try to do four to five cards. So, maybe not a large session. I would say my sessions are small. Don’t happen as often as I would like.
What a beauty! When inspiration strikes, I like to go all in and stay with it, time permitting. If I can’t make a decision on something, I walk away and when I come back, I quite often have the answer.
When creativity strikes, I try to go for a big session. I usually have a project in mind and want to work at it to get as much done of it as possible :)
I would say a big session. I’ve never really thought about it much, but once I start a card I really like to finish that day, not drag it out over several days!
Today’s give away is gorgeous!
Absolutely GORGEOUS! I love your multiple layers of intricate die cut goodness!
Sometimes I’ll craft a lot and sometimes a little. I’m disabled so it depends on how I feel.
Blessings,
Kathleen
Most the time I craft a little at a time. But today due to the fact that I have a few special occassions & birthdays in the nest few weeks I was inspired to craft alot. The idea just kept flowwing in. x
Hi Becca. Well than I go over the web searching for inspiration or leave it on the table for a day or two so that I have new inside.. What a beauty this card. So allegance. Greetings and have a good weekend. I just woke up lol.
Hi Becca,
Well I have finally caught up with all your wonderful posts lol!
This is a gorgeous one as they all are.
I tend to craft a little at a time as I do not have the time unfortunately to have long sessions, with work, house keeping and the likes so sadly its whenever I can. I am about to clean my craft space in order to be able to craft later lol!
Hope you are well and have a most wonderful weekend.
Love & hugs

Beyond beautiful!
Oh my goodness your use of dies here is just amazing. I would say I try to sit and finish a whole card at one time but I if it is a more elaborate card sometimes I have to come back to it to finish it
When the mood strikes me I can make several cards and just basically shut out everything else. Other days I can’t create a thing and just have to give it up.
I like to just sit down and see what comes. Sometimes it is in a long session and other times I have to just walk away or work on something else.
Beautiful card. I love your creativity. I am the only one of any of my extended family that does any kind of papercrafting. My mom always said she didn’t know where the talent came from as it was definitely not from her.
Just running behind in posting a comment, have had the grandsons here helping me and I don’t get to the computer as much as I like.
Your card is absolutely stunning Becca, I love these colors that you use and the quote from Wordsworth is beautiful.
As to design and crafting I guess I do it when I have to, I have way to many supplies and I trying to get them organzised so that I can just go with the flow. I have the space.
This is why my grandsons are helping, we are sorting and organizing. They will be here again late today till Thursday. Then I won’t have them till maybe Thanksgiving break and Christmas, all the activities start next week with Band Practice as the oldest boy is in the Marching Band and they compete so they are really busy up and till the end of October, but this year it will go on as they are going to Disney World to march in the Thanksgiving Parade there What an awesome trip for him.
Hugs and God Bless,
Gretchen
Becca: you do such wonderful cards and I always love the sentiments.
