News flash: I’m getting caught up – Nine new card winners have been listed on my Giveaway Page – they have an * in front of their names so that they are easier to find. Slowly but surely all the prizes are being sent out – please bear with me – it was a busy, busy fall :-)
Whoa Betty, it seems like we just turned the corner into a new year and now the days are flying by like there is no tomorrow! I’m tickled to be here today and wanted to share a card created last fall that will fit the bill for many of the holidays coming up. There’s still time to make Valentines Day Cards but as soon as that is done, it’s time to collect ideas for Easter and Mothers Day. My card today was created with some of the extra special pieces that go along with the Spellbinders Graceful Frame Maker; those are fairly big accent pieces. I simply love the flourish that is included because it’s a strong enough accent to bookend with any other shape to make a great focal point and I was able to thread ribbon through it. A regular in my stash are the cursive sentiments that fit almost any occasion – this one is Spellbinders Spellbinders Sentiments 4, and it is mounted on the double ended tag from Spellbinders Decorative Swallowtail Tags. So let’s run through this. . . I created a cream card base, added the matted text panel, positioned two of the Crisscrossing elements from the Frame Maker set (cut in gold) then on top added a pointed element like Spellbinders Arched Swallowtail Pennants (cut in black) with the points at the top of the card. Then, I threaded ribbon through the appropriate holes. Next I added the matted lady element, added the double ended tag and topped it with the cursive words. To finish, I glued a bow on top :-)
This is a huge card (will measure and post the size) that requires a custom envelope – I either send in a bubble wrap catalog envelope or I make a special one using one of the envelope boards on the market. I have a host of digital elements that I use quite often, so the background digital paper is a free download and can be found HERE and the lady digital is a purchased element that can be found HERE.

My favorite time to sit down and make a card is … when I am caught up with necessary chores and have time and energy available..
What a lovely card, Becca. I like the way you used the flourish, and I really like the newsprint and black digi.
My favorite time to make a card is nearly anytime, but I really like after dinner – I can escape the basketball games or whatever the boys are watching, head for the cave and have some Mom time alone – it’s quiet in that part of the house, and it’s just me in my space, no distractions.
Such a Victoria look to your card today. It is quite pretty. My favorite time to make cards is whenever the spirit hits. But I try to have at least some of the housework done and supper planned. Have a good sunny weekend. We are digging out of 14 inches of snow with more to come over the weekend.
A beautiful card and I’m loving the extras in the Frame-maker.
What a special card and that florish is great and would work for so many ocasions.I like to stamp images and then have is available to color in during evening tv shows. I like to have images prestamped and colored to assemble cards as needed.
Just love the lady playing chess, so elegant! My favorite time to sit down to make cards is right away in the morning and late at night when I can’t quiet my mind to go to sleep. Loves to you Becca
Hi Becca glad you are feeling better. Love the card. My favourite time to make a card is late mornings after we take the dog for a walk, and do our running around. Christine S.
Gorgeous! My favorite time to make a card is when all my chores are done for the day. No guilt and I can really enjoy the time.
Another lovely creation Becca! I love the Victorian lady. My favourite time is when I am inspired because the cards come together more quickly than when I have to create under pressure.
Regards from Canada

. . . My studio is clean and organized. I create better when the chaos is gone.
my fav. time is on a yucky weather day or on one of our retreat weekends with the girls. love to have time to unwind. love how you bring so many elements together in your cards. just beautiful.
My favorite time to make a card is anytime! I love making cards. Your cards are beautiful!!!
AFTERNOON BECCA,
This is such a pretty compulation of your bits and pieces that you make into something so lovely.
My favorite time to craft is well in advance of an event I have to make something for. Procrastation is not in my dictionary and I hate to be rushed so like to get at it well in advance of needing it. I don’t however get that much time to get things done and to have a stash on hand. Unfortunately!
Have a great weekend and glad you are getting caught up!!
Hugs

My favorite time is mirning. I seem to get more done then.
Any time I have a few minutes is a good time to make a card. Those times dont happen real often, but when they do I make the most of my time…I always make my cards in twos,to help me make a stash!!
Very pretty card. I love to make cards when it’s raining or snow fall. To me it says come and play.
What a lovely card! I really like how you threaded the ribbon through the die cut! So pretty! Well, my favorite time to sit down and make a card is….ANY time! LOL! I really enjoy it though when I’ve finished a major chore (like dusting, mopping, & vacuuming like I did today!) That way I don’t feel guilty knowing I need to do the dreaded chores! Haha! :)
I love to make cards first thing in the morning, the light is great then!
My favorite time to sit down and make a card is after the dinner dishes are washed and the kitchen is nice and clean. It feels like my work is done and I can have permission to do something just for me.
Hi Becca. Very pretty card today featuring the silhouette lady.
My cardmaking fits into any spare time I have in my days and preferably when my Husband is not at home as he continually interrups. He thinks it’s a waste of time!!!! Xx
When I have everything done and can sit and relax.
Late evenings is when I do most of my cardmaking. I have even been known to go to bed, only to get back up because I have an idea I ‘need’ to try!
LOL, ANYTIME is my “favorite time” to sit down & do a card!;) IF, I can get out of housework, it makes it even SWEETER! LOL ;) This is a LOVELY CARD, Becca!!! Do you “stamp” anymore? Or just use Digi’s the most?
So beautiful Becca! My favorite time to make a card is early in the morning after coffee. It’s seems my great ideas thanks to your inspiration is a great time to work. Then phone calls, my walk, my chores etc kick in for the day!
My favorite time is late afternoon when chores are done, there’s still some daylight and I’m not yet exhausted.
Beautiful card, once again. This lady is so lovely. My favourite time to make cards is whenever I have a free few days mid week, which, despite being retired seem to be infrequent. I make quite a few together and try to stay at least a month ahead of when they’re needed.
Lovely card. My favorite time to sit down and make a card is – anytime! I like how I feel when I create something pretty that I share with others to make them feel special. It is cold here. Trying to stay warm with all that snow laying around.
Really think this card is soooo elegant. I so much enjoy getting your emails. thank you so much for taking the time to keep us all inspired. God bless…Denice : )
Good morning Becca, simply gorgeous!!! My favourite time is early morning or early afternoon!!!

My favorite time to make a card is whenever, I get inspird any time of the day or night have even been known to get out of bed and make a card
My favorite time to sit down and make a card is in the evening after supper. I enjoy spending some time in my craft room thinking about my card, usually thinking about our children and having my kitties join me and supervise.
Gorgeous card!
My favorite time to sit down and work on cards in a very snow stormy day, I can watch the snow fall, work on cards and listen to my music, happy time, happy place to be!!!
My favorite time to make a card is first thing in the morning – before breakfast.
Very pretty card again today! My favorite time to “create” is anytime! I’m retired now so I can go “play” more often. Husband thinks he should eat a meal 3 times a day! I have to stop playing to cook. If he’s gone, then I don’t always stop to eat.
What a lovely card Becca! I love the vintage look and you have inspired me to try something like it.
My favorite time to sit down and make a card is ANYTIME! I especially like to make a card when my craft room is clean and organized… which is not as often as I’d like. But I can make a card even when my crafting table is a total mess!!!
So beautiful!!! love this card, so elegant! :)
Becca what a lovely card. I like to make cards when I get some ideas that way it comes easily.
This card is elegantly beautiful. I’ve found that working on my card projects after lunch the most relaxing peaceful time of the day. The daily household chores are done, fed the husband and it’s nap time for all including the dogs. With my tummy full and my mind at peace, I’m able to casually take my time creating another card project. This isn’t every day but when situations permit midday is best.
Yet another gorgeous card….Thank You, Becca! You inspire me to make cards!!! Now I just need to find a nice block of time to devote to my cards. I have added a puppy to my fur family….so 4 dogs and 2 cats. On my time off, I take dog agility classes and compete with them. Hard to find those precious crafting hours! :)
What a charming card, Becca. The vintage feel is wonderful. How creative of you!
My time for sitting down to make cards is anytime I have an hour or two of spare time, usually on the weekends or on my days off. Sometimes I’ll sneak up to my craft room in the evening to spend some creative time.
Hi Becca. Fab card as always. I mostly make cards mid to late mornings after I have woken up and done my house jobs. Happy weekend.
Another gorgeous card here from you Becca. Soooo beautiful and elegant as always hun, and the diecuts are also as usual just perfect and makes the most amazing card.
My favorit time to sit down and make a card, can be anytime at the day, and it´s different from time to time, it´s more about to get the spirit for it, and it can be the most weird times, that I suddenly get an idea, that I just have to try right away. I think, the most weird has been once, I woke up in the middle of a dream and just had an answer to a problem, I´d been playing around with for a few days, and suddenly I woke up and just knew, how to solve it, and went straight dowwn and finished it in a heartbeat.
Absolutely beautiful, Becca!
My favorite time to make a card is after I have completed the necessary housework for the day. I love to gather my supplies and then just let the creative juices flow. Knowing that I’m not neglecting anything by taking time for myself just makes it that much more enjoyable! Thanks for sharing your creativity and for all the inspiration you provide!
Yes the months r rolling by! Love your card. I like to make cards anytime of the day! Thanks fir sharing! Paper hugs

Love the beautiful image you have used :))
My favorite time to sit down and make cards is after breakfast when I have the whole day available.
OOHH, really like this design, so different from the others but just as beautiful. The focal point is a strong one but you managed to soften it with the other offset designs. Good one Becca!
Hi Becca, I adore this shabby chic card, I love any script background and this is a fabulous bookpage, I love the die-cuts, and I adore this focal image, all coupled with your beautiful bow and gorgeous embellishment and pearls, I love this !!
I prefer to craft in the afternoon, mundane household jobs take precedent in the mornings, I wish we could ‘buy’ time as there are never enough hours in my day !!
Enjoy your weekend.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
Very pretty card. My favorite time to craft is when I start to straighten up my craft space. I find something new to try and there I go….. LOL
Anytime I can find to sit down and make a card. I don’t have any special time that I craft. Love to create anytime. Thanks for the chance to win this gorgeous card.

My favorite time to make cards is on one of my days off from work during the week. I sit down and let the creative juices flow and sure enough the light bulb goes on and busy beaver me gets to work on making a birthday or holiday card. Love the peace and quiet and listening to the birds singing outside.
Usually at the last minute unfortunately. I always say I’m going to make cards ahead of time, but that never happens. I love this card! I love all of your cards actually! ??
Such a ‘gentle’ card! I love the way you have used the Frame Maker extras!
My favourite time to make cards is absolutely anytime. I did say that, right??!! ;o)

My favorite time to sit down and make a card is in the morning on the weekends. I get a cup of coffee, hubby is still sleeping, and I head to my craft room.
Your card today is so elegant! Loving the combination of die cuts you’ve used. My favorite time of day to create a card is the evening and night. I’ve always been a night owl so I seem to get energized as the sun goes down
My favorite time to sit down and make a card is …when I feel I have some creative juices or time to enjoy it without stress of life’s activities and interrupptions
My favourite time to sit down and make a card is … late at night when I know I won’t be interrupted, I have disabilities so it fits around my up and down sleep pattern x x x
