Hello Becca
Such a lovely card… shame the stamp is retired!
I love the Vintage effect…beautiful as always!
Take care

So glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family. I, too, had a beautiful day with family. Today’s card is warm with a thoughtful message and a lovely design by you. One of the traditions I do to kick off my holiday season is to make and bake goodies for family and friends, including those that gave me great service throughout the year. My kitchen becomes so busy with multiple recipes coming out to be made and that have not been used since the year before. My stove and oven are on overload and the house is filled with delicious aromas wafting from my kitchen.
I like this card very much, I don’t know how you can part with it, you are one clever Lady, Cheers and thankyou.x
It has become so redundant to say “beautiful card” because every one you make is. But…beautiful card!!! :-)
I don’t so much have a tradition to kick off the holiday season as much as a process. I decorate MANY trees, so I start early in November. The actual celebrations are the traditions with all the different groups of friends and relatives we entertain.
Becca: Love your bows. I purchased your bow maker, but you are making new and different bows than you demo DVD. Could you show some of your new bows in an upcoming Becca Bit.
thank you.
Myrna
Yet another stunning card, Becca. I am so pleased you had a lovely Thanksgiving day yesterday. For Christmas this year, the family will be around. The menu is planned, the boned duck on order from the butcher and thoughts and ideas in my head for the table favours. We leave for Miami on Tuesday for a cruise around the Caribbean (so I’m likely to be absent from this wonderful website for a while!) and so time will be very short when we return but everything necessary will be done. Best wishes

Gorgeous card! Love the quote, bow and the pearls. You kindness with “Day of Giving Friday” is so kind and thoughtful. Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
Hi Becca. Beautiful card as always in all ways!!!!! I am waiting for my mail person today for delivery of your cinch flowers and bows. I cannot wait!! I am also waiting for delivery of my first GRANDCHILD any day now!!!!!! Happy thanksgiving to you and yours.
I love the softness of this card no matter how long ago you made it. I was thinking of one gal I know that would really be encouraged by the sentiment. Thanks for the chance to win it, it’s very kind of you.
We always watch White Christmas and make eggnog. Love your cards!
Beautiful card Becca! Happy Thanksgiving!
Gorgeous card, Becca!!! Love the colors used! You are very gifted is sooooooo many ways!!! Hugs
Usually I put up the outdoor decorations and then get out my collection of Santas. Have to put all of the paperweights off the mantle so there is room for them. This year I can’t climb ladders so my granddaughter came over the did the climbing for me. I guess that will be a new ritual – I’m not getting any younger.
Merry Christmas
Another great card and a sentiment we should all live by. Christmas time means making candy to give to family and friends. I usually put my tree up 2 weeks before Christmas and take down New year’s day.
Relaxing today after cooking Thanksgiving dinner it was also my 25th anniversary.
Glad that you had a good Thanksgiving day.
GORGEOUS card Becca…would love to win it!!!! We start our holiday prep with getting our newsletter ready to go in the mail, and of course, card for the immediate family!
Paper Hugs and holiday blessings!
Jan
Another beautiful card! Have a wonderful weekend!
We took our friend who has lost her dear husband along with us to the church dinner for Thanksgiving. Now we are sorting out things to pack as we are going to our son’s family for a mo. for Christmas in CA
This would be fun to receive, love your style, colors and layering!
Such a beautiful card in soft colors. Love it! So happy that you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Oh this is so gorgeous Becca! The lace is beautiful. I get the Christmas feeling once I start baking my mince pies with Christmas music playing in the background – which is what I have been doing today, so now they are all packed away in the freezer ready to bring out when they are needed. The house smells great! Hugs Christine xx
this is such a lovely card. you always bring stuff together in the most gorgeous creations. such a talent
First thing I do is haul out the decoration boxes and get my cards out.
Merry Christmas and a belated Happy Thanksgiving!
Such a lovely, peaceful card, Becca. The best part of this time of year is going to the home of my daughter and sharing the time, the hugs, the laughter, and the memories. It puts everything into the perspective of love and kindness.
The women at our church come together for an hour long devotion called “Advent by Candlelight” to prepare for the season of Christmas. It places you in the right place with God.
A very nice card and thank you for sharing your special talent
Morin sweet becca…..we always watch the Christmas story …love you’ll shoot your eye out….another awesome card today..any of us would love a new or old card of yours…thanks for you always sharing…have a blessed holiday season…
I continue to be awed by your lovely creations as well as your kindness. Thanks for all you do.
You make the most beautiful cards. They are so soothing to look at. They just make my day so much better.
Hi Becca. Another lovely! Shabby chic but more chic than shabby! First weekend in December the decs go up in this house. The cards are already done waiting for posting, present buying and wrapping in progress, menus planned and food and drink shopping lists pending. I like to be organised! I can then enjoy the run up to the big day. Well that’s the plan anyway. Happy weekend.
HA!!!! I usually give the house a GOOD once over to kick off the holidays, but lately, that has been over-taken by MANY OTHER THINGS!!! LOL So this year, it was having our daughter come home for Thanksgiving. No, it wasn’t anything I did myself!
This card is WONDERFUL, Becca!!!! Feminine & aged! TOTALLY LOVELY!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)
Good Morning Becca! Glad your day yesterday was wonderful! Ours was good, too!
Our tradition is that nothing Christmas comes into the house until AFTER Thanksgiving, save for presents bought and stored hidden. No music, decorations, nothing until we have given lots and lots of thanks and celebrated gratitude! And no Black Friday shopping!
I would love to give your beautiful card a new home, and have just the friend wh could use a beautiful boost….so pick meeeeeee, please. How’s that for a not so gracious whine? LOL! I’m certain whoever wins will be so glad to have this lovely card…I know it will end up in the right hands. They always do!
Blessings,
Joni
Another beautiful Becca creation! Love the vintage look.
My tradition is to gather all the Christmas cards I’ve been making all year and begin addressing them. I always like to get my cards in the mail early, so I usually mail them the first week of December. Merry Christmas Becca!
OMG! Would I love to be the lucky winner of this card! I love everything about it. I think I might just be selfish if I did win it and keep it just for myself…that’s how much I like it.
Having no family nearby, I fix the full Thanksgiving dinner and all the trimmings for just my husband and I. It’s a quiet day of watching football and doing crafts. The card looks like it was made yesterday. So elegant.
I love the simplicity of this card. It would so brighten my Mom’s day.
I love this card and several others that you have made incorporating these digital images. They truly work so wonderfully with so many of the spellbinder dies and add such a lovely touch to the card layers. So glad you were able to spend the holiday with your Mom. Family and faith are the number one ingredient this time of year. My hubby and I are fortunate enough to have a home large enough to accommodate the entire family through the holidays, so we always host Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter etc. at our home. I love to be surrounded by family throughout the holidays. This year we only had 17 at our dinner table. We usually have more, but several were unable to make it due to weather conditions. But, I am always thankful that we can all get together to celebrate and just have a fun enjoyable day together. Really looking forward to Christmas so we can do it all again!!
Love the card so pretty and the pinks are gorgeous! Shopping and putting up our Christmas tree. Sadly I shop by myself now, my parents are gone and my sisters live in 2 different states and we do not get together as often for the holidays.
this is an especially beautiful card in my eyes. Simple but I like the text. Had a nice day visiting my husband in hospital and then come to my sisters place watching her baking Cookies :)
hugs, Erni
We go and cut down our Christmas tree. After setting it up in the house everything smells just like Christmas and motivates you to get busy decorating and wrapping presents and baking cookies and do all those wonderful things.

Another gorgeous card. Don’t know how you do it, Becca! My kick-off for the holidays is baking. And eating it. Love the aroma in the house.
Gorgeous as always.thanks for sharing your beautiful creations!!
I gift wrap the family scrapbook from the current year. After reading the Christmas story on Christmas Eve, we page through the scrapbook, giving thanks for God’s goodness throughout the year.
Hi Becca ,i would love to give your beautiful card a good home,
We always celebrated my middle sons birthday on the 2nd Dec, then it was time to put up the tree , happy times .
God Bless

Such a pretty card, love the lace. We go driving around to look at the lights. We live in a very rural area so we have to drive about 35 miles to see them but it is worth it. We go up to the “big city”. They do the square and it is so beautiful. So many different color lights, but none can compare to our Savior Jesus Christ. Blessings, Lisa
Good morning Becca, Beautiful card!!! Our Christmas starts 12 days before, we always do the advent of Christmas. I’m being persuaded to start early this year because of my granddaughter Evie she is 2 and my grandson George he’s 4 month’s.Where has the time gone it seems like 2 seconds ago. Christmas Eve we bake and get everything ready for the big day. I love having everyone for Christmas dinner my mum my daughter’s and their family’s it’s just home!!!
Have a good one!!!

Yes another beautiful card you are very talented, and I am grateful for all your inspiration. You have given me my style, thank you. I always start with thinking about how to decorate the table,it seems to add to the holiday fun.
I usually start by bringing in the Christmas Tree in the month of October as I do not Celebrate Halloween. But this year I got a late start due to illness. Then I start dreaming of ways to decorate it the way I would love to but cannot due to finances being so strict. Then I work on handmade crafts if I can do so as my body does not always cooperate with my desires.

I love this card as it’s message is so powerful. Something I could use a definite reminder of daily as I struggle with daily intense pain and sometimes it gets the better of my Spirit. I KNOW the God still has a good plan for my life.
Becca,
Don’t care if it is old or new, a card from you will surely do. (FINE)!It’s a beauty!
Made my annual Thanksgiving dinner for only 7 this year. Got about 20 Christmas cards almost done. Will be sending out within the next week or 10 days. THen start making the specialty ones for family.

Wow – that is a gorgeous card, Becca. I don’t remember seeing it in the past, so I am happy you have featured it today. It is so pretty! Pink and pearls – you can’t go wrong!
My little Christmas ritual is to begin playing my favorite Christmas music! Never before Thanksgiving, but always the day after!
Starting my kick off with finishing my cards. may your Christmas be full with worshiping the One who came to save us.
Your cards are always so beautiful Becca. We go and get our tree.. And enjoy watching White Christmas while we decorate.
Once again you show us a very elegant card.
Thank you, Becca, for the chance to win it!
Hi Becca,
I can remember when you first showed it, forgot how lovely it was.I used to do a lot of baking to get into the holiday season, but I am unable to do all that baking any more, only get my shortbread cookies done if I am up to it.
Absolutely love the vintage look and feel of today’s card. Beautiful! The holidays leading up to Christmas here in Africa come at the end of a long school year (perhaps like your summer hols). We don’t fuss too long in advance over Christmas preparations – we’re just plain tired out and ready to recuperate (lol). But in our family we do like to focus on the message of CHRISTmas at this time & I like to make my Christmas meal the day before so that I can rest on Christmas day (we usually enjoy a cold lunch together). We have always encouraged our children to make or buy (with their own pocket money) the gifts they give.
well Becca,
Yesterday was a first Liz (my sister) whom I live with now spent the day together. The rest of the family went to Alabama to visit with Jason’s family. I had carpal tunnel surgery Tuesday, which is going well. Im actually typing today!!! Its a long story how it came to happen on this week but it did and we went with it. I don’t really have any traditions started since so much has changed. But I guess we will start something!! I hope to get some cards made this year and maybe some other things, My hand already feels 100% better. Thanks for sharing. Love the card and would love to give it a home. I love everything about it.
Hugs
Kay
We have a tradition of putting a tree (all but one artificial) in each room of the house. When I sometimes questions my sanity in doing this, the kids, now 19 and 18, insist I do it, so when they get home from school and hockey for Christmas, it’s all done and they love it. It’s worth the smiles on their faces each time. And I enjoy entertaining and having people’s faces light up when they see it all. Have a wonderful Christmas season Becca. You certainly do “Live by Faith”. God Bless.
So pretty. This weekend we will be hunting a Christmas yet like we have done for 30 years.
Another beautiful card Becca – as ever :-). I guess the start of the holiday season for me is to design and make (mass production) the Christmas card, then comes the letter covering the year and then getting them all in the post!! Christmas shopping happens during the year as I see things on ‘special’!!
Blessings
Maxine
The day after thanksgiving I take my two young daughters and we go to tree farm and pick out our tree. W then spend the weekend decorating, laughing and just being together, because they grow way too fast!
Another beauty, Becca! So thankful for you! You are such an inspiration and you bring beauty and grace directly to my in-box every week. Thank you.
I love this vintage card, yummy colors! I start off with the Christmas tree. It is 9 feet tall and takes me up to four days to decorate. I put on some old Christmas music and get to it. Fun!
beautiful card!! Happy Thanksgiving! been working on cards and need to make a couple fleece blankets and get shopping done, lol
So glad you had a good day, Becca.
I love the vintage feel to this card and the sentiment really resonates with me.
I love all the Christmas traditions but making the Christingles for Church is something that my family has been doing for four decades. We have started the preparation but they will not be assembled for a fortnight when we will have the annual Christingle service. Although I lost my mother 17 years ago, the memories of being part of this tradition bring her ever closer.
Hugs

Another wonderful card! Getting out the Advent wreath and putting in the candles is always the start of our holiday season. Thank you for sharing your love of card making!
Such a beautiful card. I love using lace on cards.
We kick off the holidays at our home by setting up the nativity set, putting up the Christmas tree, and making our first batch of cookies. Of course the gift buying starts long before that, though!
That beautiful head of yours is just filled with absolutely gorgeous ideas. This card is no exception. I am awestruck!
Beautiful! I love to get my tree and decorations up after Dinner on Thanksgiving!,
I bring out the Christmas books and start reading them to the grandchildren so they learn the true meaning of the holy season.
Oh Becca, what a beautiful card!!! Our special dessert for Christmas is Baked Alaska and I always buy the makings right after Thanksgiving and then mold the ice cream and sherbet and freeze that and make the cake layer and freeze that. The week before Christmas I make the meringue and put it all together ready for baking on Christmas Day.
This is such a beautiful card. I love the vintage look. I kick off the season by going to as many Christmas craft fairs as I can. I get so inspired and can hardly wait to get home to make some of the many things I saw.
Sorting and hanging lights is always a challenge, I mean “treat”.
Love this card and really like the lace too.
Becca…I am always so mezmorized by your creations! Father God has given you an AMAZING Talent!!! So impressed..Teach me more plz!!! I can only pray I can possibly make some of the creations you come up with.
A beautiful Victorian looking card, Becca! I guess my tradition at this time of year is the start of decorating and baking.
Oh Becca,
I love this card. It looks ‘old fashioned’ to me and pink is my favourite colour.
You can be sure I would frame it and love it forever!
Thank you for the opportunity to win it :o)
Oops! I forgot to answer your question.
There is one thing I have always done and that is make a Christmas Ornament every year for our Grandchildren – I put all my love into them, and enjoy it so very much.
I hope when they
leave home they will each take the ones I have made and have enough for their first little tree.
Blessings to you Becca.
Wow…another gorgeous card and love the sentiment. Your cards never cease to amaze me with all that you create on them. So pretty. The day after Thanksgiving we start all the decorating and start the baking. Thanks again for sharing with us all of your talent.
Another wonderful card here Becca. Sooo soft and delicious as ever. Thanks sooo much for the chance to win it.
Here that is actually happening today, as the first week-end in Advent has always been the week-end we starts to decorate the house, and that is something my granddaughters would die, if they wasn´t going to help with, so they arrived here last night so we can begin here today(saturday) as soon as they get out of bed here, and it´s always quite a feast, when it goes on and will not be any different this year I´m sure. The girls always look sooo forward to this week-end, and later we´re going to have some christmasgoodies and hot chocolate.
Your card is just as lovely and beautiful as any new dare you create! Our ritual is the day after Thanksgiving we start decorating the house for Christmas. No, there’s no way we shop! Haha!
Hi Becca, This is a stunning card, I especially love the vintage shabby chic feel, I love it.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
Hi Becca. My holiday season starts every Fall with the changing of colors. I gather leaves, pull out the fall decorations, bake banana bread, start Christmas projects with my grandkids, make Halloween goodies… It’s a long process that takes us all the way to Epiphany when the Christmas tree comes down, the last of the decorations are put away and we thank God for the many blessings he’s given. May God bless You and your family this holiday season!
CJ
Your attention to detail blows me away. I love this card …but then again I love all of them.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours Becca. This is a beautiful card and would love to give it to my granddaughter as she just became engaged. OH MY GOODNESS! To kick off the season my oven was busy making pies to share with my family at their house. The apple pie never made it out of the kitchen as family members popped in to say hi and could not resist the apple pie right out of the oven. Thanksgiving day was spent early in the morning with the granddaughters coming over and making pumpkin pie. After lots of flour all over us and lots of giggles we finished our pie and was eaten at dinner at my daughter’s house. Family is everything to be thankful for.
Hi Becca,
Stunning card, I know I am too late for the drawer but had to comment lol! We always travel to my Daughter’s each Christmas the day before Christmas Eve, I always do a treasure hunt for after Christmas day dinner, the presents are usually unwrapped in the morning so I always hide one for after dinner for them to look for following the clues I have written, I have done this for many years its now become a highlight to their Christmas day and I have never repeated a verse for the clues yet! We all love it, such a happy day.
I wish you and your family a Very Peaceful Christmas this year
Love & hugs

Very feminine soft colours and the bow is perfect thank you for sharing

It simply amazes me that you are able to come up with these new designs everyday. I wish my mind could be like yours so creative and beautiful. Bless you
The pearls are beautiful!
My husband and I are not as blessed as some families. We are 1500 miles away from 4 of our children and 3,000 miles away from another. Our excitement builds as the days roll on into Christmas when we know we will see each of our children and grandchildren. The sweet voices of the little ones makes my heart take a leap. The comments from our children remind us that we did a good job and that we are still viable in their minds. Thanksgiving was spent at a New Jersey Diner! Great food and sweet waitresses! Looking forward to December 18th when we drive to Texas. Yay, and to all a good night!
This is such a lovely card! My family kicks off the holiday season by choosing names for our Christmas grab bag on or around Thanksgiving. There’s a twist this year since all of us could not be together for Thanksgiving — we’re choosing names by computer!! Happy Thanksgiving and may your Christmas be joyous!
I have follow your blog for years. I am stunned every time I look at one of your beautiful creations. Thank you for the opportunity to have a chance to win one of them! A tradition our family has for Thanksgiving is to read some facts and stories about the pilgrims.
I really like this card. I love how you used the pearls, seam binding, ribbon, & pin and how few diecuts you used. This is one card the casual crafter could try to emulate. Don’t get me wrong, I love the diecuts but I don’t have very many of the fancy ones.
My grand kids & I make ornaments to put on the tree each year. This year we have decided that the tree will only have handcrafted ornaments on it. This may become our new tradition.

Our family kicks off the holiday season with watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and later in the day our Thanksgiving dinner.
I start by decorating the whole house with all kinds of decorations then add my Christmas Village and lights and Garland. we then on the 12th we go to the Tree farm and cut our own tree this year our Granddaughter will be with us and she is so exited to go. she is only 3 but she is so excited about this. thanks and Hope you have an Amazing Christmas.
Hello, this is Paul from Louisville Bible College. I preached a seeirs through Joseph’s life a couple of years ago. I think the best title for your film project, and also the main truth about Joseph’s life, can be found in Genesis 39. Three times in the chapter are a variation of the words, The Lord was with Joseph. No matter what a Christian goes through in life, the Lord is with him or her. He never leaves us or forsakes us. I have personally felt deep tragedy in my life. In July 2009, my wife Dena had a heart attack driving home from work. She was revived multiple times at the scene and at the hospital and placed on life support. After eight days and no response, we had to let her physically pass on. I have known no one in my life more faithful than her; just a tremendous loss to me. But God is good. The Good Shepherd met me at the sheepfold each night, knew my name, knew what I had been through that day, and gave me safe harbour for the night, along with rest to face the next day’s challenges. The Lord was with Joseph, the Lord was with me, and the Lord is with all those who face the challenges of life.Even through tragedy the Lord continued to bless me. I am now remarried to the one God sent to me. I tell people that God did all the work; I was just an innocent bystander. Again, the Lord was with me and continues to be with me; just as He was with Joseph. Your title: The Lord was with Joseph.
