Hello sweet friends! Spring has returned right? Maybe that’s why I can’t concentrate, it’s too, too lovely outside. I hope today finds you well! Today you get two card from me. I’m sharing this card for Day of Giving Friday here – read down below if you are new to Day of Giving Friday. So on to my card for today. Every once in a while I love a tall card (this one is 8.5″ tall by 4″ wide) – they are so different and really it is so easy to fill up the space, because of the narrowness. Today I’m highlighting one of my new borders Graceful Floral Lace. It takes up a lot of real estate on the card and that’s exactly what I wanted. I simply cut two pieces, backed them with silver foil and adhered the pairing to the top and to the bottom I stamped my sentiment from Quietfire Design onto vellum paper with Versafine Ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The sentiment is cut with Spellbinders Classic Ovals SM and framed with Spellbinders Floral Oval. The tiny filigree piece on the bottom is Spellbinders Corners and Accents One.

My favorite part of spring are the flowers peeking up through the grass (daffodils) and the flowering trees. So pretty!!
I love how the hills are green, yellow and orange (California poppies!) after a winter of rain… by the time May rolls around, they start turning brown again. Love your beautiful card!

The two things that are my favorite things about Spring are :
All the Flowers,trees,and shrubs starting to bloom with color after such a dreary season ( I live in the PNW). The biggest one of all–is that my Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) lifts and I start to have energy again, to a point, considering all my health issues :) .
My favorite part of spring is the way the air smells — new! It’s almost as if you can smell the trees budding and the flowers peeking up out of the soil.
Love your tall card layout. I also love deviating from my usual card size when creating. My favorite part of spring is being able to take my crafting outdoors and do it in the sunshine that I crave all winter.

My favorite part of spring is that the days gets longer and warmer and you can stay more outside and then that everything begins to get that light green color, it really lift the spirit up for me.
As I am welsh and live in wales (uk) it is tridition that on st David’s day ladies wear a daffodil and men a leek. I love to see the bright colours of these beautiful flowers in spring and to pick one to wear. A beautiful season showing new life and new beginings, how magic is nature in spring!

My favorite part of Spring is the Fresh Smell. I just want to go outside and take in the deepest breath and hold on to it and slowly exhale. I feel renewed.

Wow!! What a lovely card today and another beautiful sentiment too. The accent at the bottom is a beautiful finishing touch.
I have a ornamental cherry tree right out side my kitchen window. When I see the cherry blossom I know that Spring is on its way. The magnolia tree is in bud too. Nature is amazing!
What a beautiful card! It’s amazing how different colors of paper can change how the die looks. My favorite part of spring is seeing all the flowers come up and the green grass returning.

I have the new dies except for the words so should be able to do that card! It is awesome.
I love spring because I know it will be awhile before the severe heat gets here in beautiful Florida and we actually live in a “near Paradise!”

Lilacs in bloom!
This is a really lovely card and perfect for a sunny cool day like today. It’s hard to tell you what turns me on with spring because it’s pretty much the same year round….green all around, sunny skies, balmy weather, clean salty air, flowers, fruit trees and birds all around. Much to appreciate and enjoy just walking in the yard. It’s spring every day.

Spring time means beautiful flowers blooming. Tree buds of different colors. The smell of clean fresh air with the sweet smell of flowers and grass growing. So beautiful.
Spring hasn’t quite reached us yet. I love all the colorful bulbs that bloom. One single daffodil bud has been trying to open all week. Maybe tomorrow!

This is a beautiful card! I love the tall dimension as well. I have lots of standard sized envelopes that I never use. Long and skinny is a great change of pace. And I love the lace design – it’s on my wish list! Very pretty to layer on the silver. Thanks, Becca!
Oh – for my comment – spring is not here yet. I think we are expecting snow this week!! Spring is my least favorite season. The best part about it is that summer is on the way!
The best about spring is watching the bulbs sending up the green leaves. We have a Lenten rose that is blooming (new hampshire) and still was blooming after 16 inches of snow covered it. Happy Spring and thanks for the beautiful cards.

Your card is so lovely. I have the Graceful Floral Lace die that you designed for Spellbinders. I am pleased to see the Spellbinders Corners and Accents One. I could not visulize how beautiful and petite this die is from the package photo. Springtime, oh Springtime — when will you arrive? So glad you are enjoying Spring. For me, I have snow on the ground here that arrived last night and this morning. I have a few daffodils that popped their joyful heads out and shined with sunshine yellow to excite me that Spring may not be too far away. My favorite part of Spring has to be that the earth comes back to life and renews itself giving hope to all. And then there are those gorgeous flowers and their fragrance. Spring is definitely my favortite time of the year.

What I absolutely love about spring is: laying in bed early in the morning with the windows open, listening to the songs of the birds!! Mind you, I love the spring flowers, but the wonderful sounds and aroma say spring to me!

I love flowers so much so they are a big part of spring, but the green grass and trees are so beautiful. After living all my life in California, I cherish the four seasons we now have in Indiana. You never need to water your lawn here and it stays green!!! Many of my cards have flowers… and my other favorite… butterflies!

Beautiful card today here and at Spellbinders. What I love about spring is–Life begins! The flowers bloom, the grass turns green and grows, the leaves appear on the trees, the days are warmer and daylight is longer. 50 years ago next month, my husband I were married and our new life began! What a ride it has been!

So Beccalicios !!! Love, love, love this card. It has most of your hallmarks (bow, pearls,etc.) What I love about spring is the actual ‘feeling’ of renewal. I attribute that to God’s design – the earth’s proximity to the sun. He’s so good!!!
I love being able to walk without being all bundled up in coats and gloves and scarves.
Love, love, love the cards!!! Each time you make a card I think “I need that die!” Of course, I can’t afford them all. Darn. This card is so different than your usual style and the color card stock you used inspires me to use the deeper colors of card stock I have that I never use.

What a lovely card here! These are really unusual colors of paper to use and it’s so pretty! I looked at your card over on Spellbinders and yes! I’d definitely make that, if I had those awesome dies! My favorite part of spring is just watching the almost daily change of the fresh green leaves emerging on the trees, hearing all the birds singing, and feeling the warm sunshine on my face!!

Spring is certainly on its way. My favourite part is to go out in the garden these lighter evenings, seeing the new shoots and finding those plants which have made it through the winter and are just beginning to wake again. The snowdrops showed a few weeks ago, the daffodils began to appear last week and blossom is out on the cherry plum trees. Just hope we don’t have a cold snap here in the UK to set things on their heels!

My favorite part of spring is the rains, the new growth, and especially seeing the beautiful new baby animals! We already have our garden tilled, and ready to plant. I am so looking forward to fresh vegetables from the garden!
