Good morning sweet friends! Tickled to be peeking in today and wanted to let you know that I haven’t forgotten about our winners and will be caught up with Day of Giving prizes soon – I’m quite behind. All hands on decks, I have not had a spare minute in the background getting samples made, make and takes created and tested as well as the decorations for my display area. If it seems quiet here, that’s why. No worries, I’ll be back and have big plans for 2017. Are you with me?
Today I’m giving away another of the cards made with Graceful Borders but it is done in the conventional way. I’ve taken Spellbinders Graceful Damask and mirrored it vertically on my card and added a sentiment. That’s it. A tiny update – these dies are now available on the Spellbinders website :-)
About Day of Giving Friday
For new readers, every Friday it’s my pleasure to give away a card. The card goes to a randomly picked reader (worldwide) who leaves a comment in our conversation. Want to know more about Day of Giving, here’s a link to my FAQ’s just check out #11. You can check to see if your name is on the list of winners HERE! For your comment: What is at the top of your crafting list to learn in 2017?

Beautiful card Becca! Love, love, love the cameo!
I’m just learning to make deco mesh wreaths. I want to perfect my skill in doing these and learn to do some with burlap. Then on to some of the grapevine wreaths for spring.
What a pretty card, Becca!!! Absolutely lovely. Thanks so much for the inspiration – it’s a delight to see your artwork every week.
I don’t have a crafting list to share, but I’ll put my thinking cap on and get back to you on that topic!
God bless you, Becca!
Wow, wow, wow. This card is stunning!! Not that I’m surprised at its beauty because all your cards are so gorgeous. I’ve not decided yet what I’m going to do new in 2017 since I haven’t had much spare time to think but I’m sure there will be something around the corner. I may not be able to get access to your blog for the next six weeks since I will be away but I’ll look in whenever I can. Good luck at CHA – I so wish I could be there. Best wishes. Doreen
Another beautiful card! I love everything you do and own most of your dies. I come here often for inspiration.
This card literally took my breath away! The elegant simplicity defies words! You have done it again, Becca!
This year I will attempt to learn to color. Sigh. Definitely not my fav, but the stamps are begging me to. Lol
Wow! Such elegant card.. so so beautiful.. masterpiece in itself.. would love to win this card handmade by you
How do you come up with something new over and over again? You are amazing and so are the cards you design. Thank you for sharing your talent with us less fortunate but are inspired by your work.
Still seeking our “Not for Profit” status, we’re are in the early stages of receiving funds. At this time, I’m happy to say that we have helped Team De-Feet Cancer reach $32,000 through the Pan Mass Challenge and the Jimmy Fund, the arm of Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, MA which processes the fund raising.
So happy and thankful for that, I have still not been able to draw a salary or even pay for the supplies used to make cards.
In 2017, I hope to find more room for my crafting supplies. Additionally, I hope to able to draw even a small salary.
I am a one woman show. I keep making cards, send them out, maintain a web-page and do all the marketing to get orders. Because there are no extra funds to draw upon, I can’t afford to hire helpers.
It’s a big wish for 2017. As a retired person, I wish I had thought of this earlier in my career.
Thank you for you tutorials, I absolutely love your designs. I have also ordered some of your dies from Spellbinders. You are an amazingly talented woman.
Thanks for sharing your gift.
Another stunning card, Becca!
I need to learn to balance my life/time to allow some time for crafting. I miss my creative outlets of making cards and quilling.
Just got your frame making die. Having so much fun with it. Watched your video which is brill. Getting to grip with how to leave the frame so gives square for the sentiment in the middle. Saves so much time and paper. Think it is the best die yet and never leaves my desk.
todays card is beautiful. Well done Becca
Hi Becca. Fab card. I have this die so will be giving this a go. Who knows what I will learn this year. I’d like to learn to tie Bows like you. Happy weekend.
Love the card. I am waiting for the delivery of my Spellbinders Graceful Damask die so was really excited to see you use it in such a beautiful way.
So simple yet so beautiful! I’m the proud owner of a Minc and am anxious to try out some techniques…

What a stunning beautiful card. Becca your creations are always so amazing. I also wanted to share some news sometime back I had asked for prayers as my daughter in law was pregnant and she was having some hard times carrying the babies. Well after some hard struggles she had an emergency C Section as she was in danger. After a long time with the decision she delivered a boy and a girl on November 30th. Since Amelia June was under 5 pounds she was in the Special Care Unit and Austin Joe was 5 pounds. Mama was being checked and we are pleased and thankful they are doing great. My daughter in law is such a little trooper and through the whole ordeal she still was caring and loving with everyone. (I would have been screaming-HA!) Thank you for all that prayed for my daughter in law and the babies. Our 2016 year ended with such wonderful blessings. I am praying that 2017 will bring blessings and love to you Becca and all your followers of your blog. I can’t tell you how I have shed tears of joy and thanked God for all He does for all of us.
I guess this year I will be sewing and I would like to learn how to paint. I will continue to make cards and be inspired by you Becca and all that comment on your blog. Happy New Year and lots of blessings and love. Raquel
Hi Raquel I remember your blog comment about your daughter in law
happy to hear all went well and they are all going good !!!
Thanks for letting us know the Happy News Pamxx
Thank you Pam. Have a great year. Raquel
Another lovely card. I need to get ahead on making cards until waiting for the last minute to make them. I would like to learn new techniques for cards and mixed media.
Another stunning card….thanks for opportunity to win it. I love all your dies; never stop designing them. My goal for 2017 is to start marketing and selling my cards. I’ve crafted so many that they’re coming out my ears, but I love making them and just can’t stop. That’s where all my spare time goes. Have great success at CHA.
Your cards are Gorgeous. I try but I never make them like yours. You have a great talent
Of course we are with you. I want to be more creative with the dies I have. Your card is so beautiful. Thank you.
Beautiful card Becca. That border die is gorgeous. I may be a little late but I would like to wish you a Happy New Year and to all your followers too. Christine
For 2017 I plan to learn more ways to create cards and other crafts. I’ve done a lot of daydreaming with little action. I’ve got to get into action. No more wasting time, because it is not promised.
I think organizing a techniques file would be at the top of my crafting list this year! ;) GORGEOUS CARD BECCA!!!! I LOOOOVE THESE DIES! ;) I’m SO HAPPY to know these are available at Spellbinders now! ;)
I love all of your crds Becca! This one is a winner! My plan this year is to use up most of my cardstock and paper before I buy more. I could open a store with what I have!

25 years.
Beautiful! Very Elegant and very inspiring!

At the top of my crafting list for 2017 is to embroider on cardstock.
Another beautiful card, Becca! Love how you use colors and ribbon… it isn’t you without it! I want to learn to water color with confidence this year… I’ve dabbled, but have always been very tentative, and it shows.
First of all I want to tell you that I finally was able to get back on your mailing list.
You card is beautiful as usual. I am so happy that I ordered all of your Graceful Boarders. The craft I want to learn in 2017 is the art of Pergamano.

Lovely card!
I think I want to learn to knit this year!
Your card is stunning as usual! I love the way you is borders….i would like to get better at watercoloring….and get to know my Prismacolors better. Thank you for everything you do Becca! You are definitely my motivator.
Beautiful card Becca! I want to learn more stamping techniques. I only do the basic ones and need to change things up a bit. Loves, Ruthie

Lord willing, This year I am looking to learn how to organize in a way that really works for myself and my needs and my messy hubby. Then I am planning to expand my knowledge of Crochet Stitches.
What a beautiful card! This year I am going to try to learn paper quilling. I have never done anything like that and my adult daughter is interested in it so I thought it might be a way that we could learn a new art craft together and have fun!
~Gin K.~
Such a pretty card! Thank you for always sharing your amazing talent.
DEAR BECCA,
Beautiful and simple card today. Love the color.
So glad to see Spellbinder website now has your newest creations and ordered the 6 x 6 frame maker. Should be on its way. Got a couple from Craft & Create when you were in the UK.
What I really want to learn to do in 2017 is not a technique but to clean off my desk after I work and keep my area organized. Wish me luck.
Hugs
Ann R.
Hello Becca,
One word describes this card – stunning!!!
Top of my crafting list to learn is to use my dies more creatively.
Maureen xxx
Gorgeous card using a simple design that looks complicated!
I DO want to know where you get all your jewels, etc., that you put on your ribbons! Can’t find anything like them anywhere. Now if Spellbinders put out a side line of jewels that you designed…..
Top of Crafting List: Learning to use the MINC that a friend gave me.
How to use dies as creatively as you do! And second is how to make your bows!!
Hi Becca,
Your simple cards are always so gorgeous! I always love the pinks. This year I hope to learn & master colouring with copics. I would love to get more use out of my Sihouette cameo as well.
Have a lovely weekend! x
I plan to learn to stamp and heat emboss this year. That’s at the top of my goals along with learning to focus on completing one card at a time and stop second guessing my self thinking it never good enough. Please keep me in your prayers s 2016 was a hard year.
Oh I want to be able to use the pc and printer more effectively…how pretty this card is. Thanks.
Another beautiful card Becca – my first goal for 2017 is to make a twisted pop-up card – and to KEEP learning through out the year!
Blessings
Maxine
What a gorgeous creation becca! I love the soft colors and ideas using
the new dies. They are so workable as I have seen for myself with the ones I just purchased.
I am trying to learn how to watercolor with different mediums but it is proving difficult.
It looks so easy til you get in there are start. But hopefully some level of acceptance will
be gratifying to me.
Love this card. You are so amazing, Becca! This year, I hope to learn all the extras I haven’t had time to do anything except dream about.
Hi Becca , beautiful i so love the bow and colour, talking of bows that is my plan for this year, tidy up and learn to make a beautiful bow .
God bless
Elaine H X
This is beautiful, Becca!
Hi Becca, Ooh, so pretty. There you go again with simple elegance using another one of your must have dies. Your dies are so classic, never go out of style and are my go-to ones so I don’t mind ‘collecting’ them. Thanks for the good ideas.
Barbara
Such a beautiful card! I just love the way you make use of the dies. I think learning how to pair the dies, like you do, will be something to work on this year. My problem? My group makes A2 cards and using the dies, makes larger cards. But they are oh, so beautiful. You are an amazing demmonstrator and that you for sharing your rare talent with us mere mortals!!
Another stunning card, love the colour and that bow on the front is magic. Thank you for your inspiration.
And, yet, another amazingly beautiful card. I want to learn to use a minc.
This is such a beautiful card! It’s simple but elegant. The die does all of the work and is now on my wish list. This year I want to get better at coloring with my copics.
HI Becca. Another beautiful card for sure! What I ‘d like to learn/develop this year in scrapbooking is multi-media techniques. I’ve seen some gorgeous results in this area, and I’d like to learn the ins and outs of this. And, as for card making, to emulate my favorite card-maker: you! xo
Beautiful card Becca. So elegant and your bow is stunning.
This year must try to make just one card at a time as I always seem to have a few on the go and get very untidy. Xx
Beautiful card.
I would like to learn to watercolor a little. Not something totally artistic just something easy and looks good. Is there such a thing? Ha!
Hi Becca, love it! Id say id like to learn to make shaker cards. I think theyre adorable!
What a beautiful card, so elegant! I can’t wait to get these dies!
I would like to learn Becca’s gift of combining dies and using them in new ways. Sometimes even when she blogs about how she put something together, I can’t quite”see” it. I probably need to see the individual pieces before they have been so skillfully assembled.
What a lovely card!!! Oh Becca I so fall in love with each and every card you post and am equally inspired by your blog post, you are such an inspiration. I look forward to your blog everyday.
At the top of my 2017 to do list is to try and make each family member, 7 of them, an heirloom quilt, (a quilt for them to have forever and to remember me by) a big project, but I figure if it’s a the top I’ll always be thinking and working towards it, who knows maybe within 5 yrs I’ll have accomplished it.
Happy New Year!!!
Hi Becca,
You sure have been a busy lady, hope the show goes well, wish I was closer to be able to go to the show and see all your lovely things.Beautiful card as always.
Try to do different style of cards.
Oh, I like this elegant card! Top of my list to learn to do for this year is to learn how to work with alcohol inks. There are so many techniques one can do with these alcohol inks. Looking forward to learning a few of them this year.
What a simple but beautiful card! You never cease to amaze me Becca? OK in 2017 I will master your new frame die I love it! I actually made a number of cards with it already and have gotten rave reviews but I know so much more can be done with it. I also started parchment crafting and really would like to perfect my technique.
Hi Becca,
love your new graceful borders collection. Have shown them to my card store friend who will be going to CHA. Told her to check these out for the store.
Beautiful card again today. I’ve been watching Create & Craft to see if your dies were back in stock (which they haven’t) so I’m tickled to know they are now available at Spellbinders. This year I WILL learn how to use my Cameo and Scan N Cut machines. I’m cleaning my craft desk off after making all my Christmas and birthday card this year. Just in time to start my Valentine cards!
Hi Becca, What a beautiful card.
Since hurting my wrist I have tried to learn something new.
What I want to do is use up what materials I have which is a lot. And put some together for missionaries to use & take back with them.
Thank you so much for your post, Becca,
I love that you made such a beautiful card with your new dies. I don’t have much creative time right now and getting great ideas is such a blessing.
Can’t wait to hear about your experience at CHA and all the surprises you have for us this year. I’m with you for sure!
Top of my crafting list is learning to use my die cutting machine. I waited so long to get one and since I purchased it, I haven’t had time to sit and play. I get excited thinking about all the possibilities and you are such a big part of that!
Love and blessings,
Sandy
Hummm top of my list would be to just get started again and stop procrastinating. I have so many beautiful dies and craft items. I just need to get going this year. I spent most of last year sick so I really missed on mine craft time. I love this card like all your cards
Very pretty card…this year I need to use up some of the old…but I still will be buying new, can’t help it…
Good morning Becca, wow another stunner!!! And yes I’m with you!!!
Hmm to do this year??? To start and finish a project early instead of last minute!!!
Have a good one!!!
Loopy Lyndaxxx
What a lovely card. I plan to continue working on my artistic endeavors- working with paints and other mediums.

Happy New Year! In 2017 I want to learn more about watercolor.
Hi Becca love your card ! Becca Bows Becca Bows 2017.

Hi Becca, I have been following you for, what, maybe 5 years now. Very rarely write but just thought I would pop in today and wish you well. I am so happy for you and all your success. When I first started following you I would tell my husband, this lady on the internet is so talented , I bet she will have her own tv show someday. Well, it looks like you are going to make my predictions come true. Loved watching you on Create and Craft. You are so precious. Just keep on being your own sweet self, love your family and most of all keep God first and foremost. I know you will. : ) Always wanted to win a card from you. I would certainly treasure it. I would hang it on my wall in my craft room and smile whenever I looked at it. Maybe someday my name will get pulled out of the internet hat….. Ha-Ha… Until then I will just keep on watching you climb that ladder of success. God bless always…Denice
You are such a blessing. This year I want to do more cardmaking. Your cards are so beautiful and I want to learn more of your techniques.
Absolutely beautiful card, Becca. I so enjoy seeing your works of art (even if I don’t win any?)! We are so blessed by your creations – thank you!! What would I like to learn this year? I really enjoy using ribbon on my cards and I’d like to learn how to make some of those incredible bows you make. Like the one on your card today!! Blessings to you. CJ.
Hi Becca as always beautiful cards. You inspiration is a credit to you. Thankyou for sharing your work with us. I really would like to master the mica powder technique no matter how much I try I always have an awful mess, messy fingers and wasted time. Got to get it right. Thankyou Becca
My aspiration this year is to TRY and be a little bit as good as YOU you never stop blowing me away with your talent Becca !!!!
Lovely card as always
Sending you hugs from GB Angxx
A gorgeous card, Becca, with beautiful design and details!
This year I would like to learn various ways of coloring stamp images.
Beautiful card! I want to use more of your dies and make more beautiful cards.
Good afternoon dear Becca,
I fell in love with your new dies when you were across here in the UK and can’t wait until i am able to use them( choked with the flu since Christmas so haven’t got the strength to turn my GC handle). I think my favourite out of them all is the frame maker as i have so many border dies that this will just make it so easy for me to get the right angle to make frames. I like frames around a card but with shaky hands, some times they are not as true as i would like them to be, so your frame maker will change that for me as i hate when i can’t get things precise( yeh iam one of those nightmare people that have to measure everything down to the last millimetre of accuracy). So for me, this year will hopefully be being able to be more precise so that i am happy with the end look. I know it’s about the fun, but my nature just won’t let me just make do and mend, which spoils the fun of making some wonderful things. I can’t wait to see what you have in line this year flower, but what i can do is send hugs and hopes that it is a fabulous year for you,
crafty hugs
Norah (Glenochil Village, Scotland)
oh becca, this is such a a gorgeous card. for my 2017 goals craft wise I want to learn to layer better.

Hi Becca,
Totally understand…I worked at CHA two years awhile back and know what it takes to get all ready!!! Have FUN! Your card is lovely, as usual…still enjoying the precious card you sent me! Top on my 2017 list is to get organized in the new one bedroom apartment in the Retirement Community I am moving to in February – downsizing has been a real CHALLENGE…now, hope it will all fit – LOL! Able to let go now of the house I designed and the 5 1/2 acres..one step at a time!!!
Paper Hugs,
Jan
Hi Becca, A stunning card, I love the borders.
I’m hoping to ‘get into’ some ‘painty’ and ‘messy’ crafting, also to keep trying colouring.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
Hello Becca,
I am drooling here looking at your beautiful cards and waiting to make all of the beautiful border dies cards with the order of dies from CreatandCraft. However, my husband and I have been land locked since December 21st in Texas waiting for the weather to clear so he can fly us back to New Jersey. It has been 3 weeks and I think the dogs wish we were gone so things would be back to their normal. The first thing I will do is pick up the mail so that I can see my new dies and then hold them in my hands and make a wish. My wish would be to sell our home, move to Texas, build a Craft Studio (after my husband build a hanger for his plane)make hundreds of cards and make new friends. So happy your year has started with a bang! You have much to do!
Hugs and HAPPY NEW YEAR! Sara
What a sweet card! The damask die is probably my favorite of your recent release! I’m looking forward to ordering it soon!
This card is beautiful. One thing that I would like to learn in 2017 is sponging.
Kathleen
Hi Becca,

I like the simplicity and elegance of this card. I can envision it being used for many different occasions. My goal for this year is to venture into water coloring. I’ve watched enough You Tube shows on ‘how to’ and am just about ready to give it a try. Wish me luck.
I would have to say that pergamano/parchment crafts is at the top of my list for 2017. I always look forward to seeing your cards and designs.
What a gorgeous card. You never fail to captivate me with your eye for the lovely. At the top of my learning list, this year, is art journalling and not far behind that is pergamano. The pi
I love your new border dies Becca, they add so much to a card to make it simple and elegant. The top of my list this year is to get more proficient in using watercolors. I think there is so much to do with it for a background or just those special dies to be spruced up. Being new to watercolors or markers will take some major reading and YouTube time.
Beautiful card love the die your color choice and layout are perfect!
So beautiful!! I must get cracking on using my dies!!
I want to learn to do one of those pop up box cards and some watercolor techniques this year.
To be able to make even one card as beautiful and stunning as yours would be my goal for 2017.
I am so enjoying the cards you are creating with your new border dies. I’m excited to try this gorgeous card! Of course, I’d love to win it. lol!
I would like to learn to craft flowers from foamiran foam. It’s very thin fan that can be die cut and heated to shape the petals. I recently ordered the foam so I now need to try my hand at creating a flower. I love that these flowers are more durable than paper so mailing them as part of a handmade card will be less problematic.
Have a wonderful day, Becca!
This is such a fabulous card, Becca. I love the Damask die and the pink is gorgeous.
We’ve been in the US for a few weeks and I started to yearn for my sewing machine! I generally use it for practical purposes – making curtains, repairs etc – but I want to do some machine embroidery. I have the threads, just never got round to using them!
Hugs
Anne (UK) x
I want finish more projects I start when my friends join me on a Tuesday. I have too many in folders after we chat and laugh too much!
I was born in Northville MI at the Ford Motor Co, hospital which was so small it is now a dentist office!
Hi Becca. I just love your cards. They are just beautiful. I currently teach Swedish weaving as well as making cards. I would like to learn hardenger (not sure I spelled that right).
