Amazing Paper Grace - Discover New Oceans - ODBD Tall card
Greetings blog friends, I hope you are having a wonderful family filled holiday weekend.   Despite my ambitions to be extremely productive this weekend, a headache sidelined me to the sofa but the sunny side of that equation was that I got caught up on a couple of movies.   I don’t do that often but I found that there’s nothing like a good laugh to vanquish a nagging headache – I literally laughed out loud through one whole silly, old movie.  Thankfully this got me up and working on a card to share using one of the new sets from Our Daily Bread Designs called Count the Waves.    Using a vintage panel from some Recollections paper I found recently, I tried to leave as much of the panel exposed as possible.  I stamped my sentiment on Spellbinders™ Fancy Tags Two and stenciled through the template while the paper was seated and backed it with Spellbinders™Fancy Tags One.  Because my layers were looking so boxy I decided to add a header using Spellbinders™ Lattice Pendants.

I agree with all the wonderful comments on this card. It is beautiful…I guess its the colors that grabbed me as they are just about my favorites. The paper is truly a “find” with the gorgeous lilies. I, too, am wondering about the white filmy stuff; I’ve seen it before somewhere but can’t remember if it was angel hair or what.ReplyCancel
