Blog friends, ten days since my last blog post is a long time, I know. I had a number of deadlines to meet as well as the preparations to go out of town to spend time with family. On top of that, I’ve had a steady stream of doctor appointments that continue in the coming weeks. I’ll be honest, the doctor stuff has had me so stressed out that I haven’t been able to blog. I’ve not been one to ignore my health but with the hip pain and such that I’ve had as of late, I’ve not backed down from the doctors who have shrugged and mused that perhaps it’s just arthritis. Well as this point, if it is just arthritis, I’ll be relieved and will be going out to celebrate. If you can spare a prayer, please say one for me to get me through this trial and to shoo away the worry.
I sat down to make a quick card today and of course the sentiment is something that resonates in my heart. The sentiment is from this months release with Our Daily Bread Designs and is called Little Things and the background clover image is from Simple Things. I made my main panel a vertical one my layering Spellbinders™ Labels Eighteen followed by a small motif with Spellbinders™ Lacey Doily Accents and topped off with Spellbinders™ Labels Twenty Two.

When I was traveling this past week, I was without internet because I didn’t carry my ailing laptop with me. I missed the opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas, but you know it was in my heart. I hope you all had wonderful time, warm memories and the sweet company of family. I was with my kids – since one could not get off from work, we basically took Christmas to him. The ability for the four of us to be together was priceless. Take care friends, I promise ten more days will not go by.
Hi Becca,
Last year I suffered with hip pain for nearly 12 months exactly. I had been taking Zumba classes and my hip started hurting. I didn’t want to stop, so I kept plugging along. I had X-rays and was told it was bursitis. I had cortisone shots and was pain free for five days. geeze… I stopped Zumba after 9 months and it took several months for the pain to go away.
I recently lost about 19 pounds and the pain went away completely. I also have arthritis but can manage the pain with Aleve.
Good luck with your doctor trips and I’ll keep you in my prayers. I trust your pain will go away too.
Take care and have a great New Year!
Debbie
belated holiday greetings to you and wishes for a peaceful 2012.
Hello..Paper Grace we have missed you. Hope you had a lovely christmas.
I, too, suffer from bad hip pain, especially when I go to bed at night. It’s strange that it doesn’t bother me so much during the day, but I can only sleep for a few hours before waking in awful pain and having to get up and stretch. Over-the-counter pain relievers don’t even touch it! The chiropractor told me I have a lot of arthritis in my neck, back, and hips and that’s what’s causing the pain.
Hope you soon find an answer to your hip problem!
Becca!
You’re not married to the computer or us!!!!!!! OF COURSE, we understand! Family comes FIRST!!!!!!!! AND You’re in our prayers!!!!!!!! I understand your worries!!!!!! When I was first married, I had TERRIBLE headaches & all I could think was, was it a brain tumor??? It turned out to be TMJ! I’d had them even when I was younger, but no one listened to me either! I too was shrugged off! I’m glad you had your time with your family!!!!!!!! It’s SOOO IMPORTANT!!!!!! :) We had a nice, quiet Christmas here at home! We’re still eating left-overs! :)
(I’m enjoying my Tonic Cutter my husband got me!!!!!! :) Thanks for the advice!!!!!!! :) ) Have a BLESSED NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HUGS!!!!!!!
This sentiment is so true…
Have a good year and thanks to be there.
I wish you have less pain . The life is so different with pain.
Very pretty card. Merci!
francine
Thinking of you, Becca.
Welcome back. I’ve missed you, but am glad youou had time to spend with your family. I pray that the doctors will find some answers for you in the new year and that you hip pain is easily treatable. I look forward to seeing what wonderful goodies you have in store for us in the new year.
Praying for you Becca. Hang in there!!
So glad you were able to spend time with your kids, Becca…and so sorry to hear the pain continues in your hip area. I will add you to my prayers.
The card is beautiful – none of your creativity was lost while you were gone….
hugs
This is a beautiful card…so inspiring. It is tough getting older with all of the aches and pains. I had a knee replacement last year for arthritis and now feel great. Hope your pain subsides.
What a great quote. Love your card. I’ll be praying for you, Becca. I, too, have hip pain and a few other strange pains. It can be so frustrating. Hang in there, girl! ~Hugs, Cheryl
Missed you Becca … sending well wishes and saying a prayer for you.
Beautiful card & sentiment. Will surely remember you in my prayers. Have a wonderful New Year.
Becca, I’m sorry to hear that the pain continues, I’d so hoped that it would be gone. It’s great that you were able to be with your kids for Christmas! Family is what it’s all about, that is the big thing. Of course we missed you, but wouldn’t have had you miss time with family for anything! Will be keeping you in my thoughts though your Doctoring ordeal. There isn’t anything much worse than basically being ignored or patted on the head and sent home. You know your own body, keep talking till they finally listen!
If they won’t keep looking till you find one that will listen to what you are saying.
Hugs,
R/
I was worried about you. Glad you are back. Hope you are pain free soon. (Maybe get a second or third opinion.) The doctor shouldn’t just shrug. As my husband says, 50% of them were in the bottom of their class. How’s that for a positive outlook? :-) Glad you were with your kids for Xmas and wish you a wonderful and healthy New Year.
Becca. good to hear from you, and of course prayers will be said. I’m so glad to hear that despite all the health problems, you were able to be with your family & enjoy this special season. Don’t worry about blogging, cards, etc. Just take care of YOU and get done whatever is needed – to get you past this ‘whatever’ it is. This is another tough patch for you, and prayer, grace AND good sense with taking care of yourself – will get you thru it. All your blog friends understand, and while we miss you, just let us know you are ok, when you can. God Bless. Many Hugs. Oh, forgot to say: Of course, as usual, lovely card!!!!Happy New Year
Dear Becka, I too have had severe hip pain for 16 months. My family doctor told me it was arthritis, and if I lost weight, the pain would go away. She was very wrong. I finally got to see an orthopedic surgeon, who said the head of my femur had collapsed, due to lack of blood supply. It is called a vascular necrosis. The blood supply to the bone died, then the bone died, then the bone broke. I walked and worked on it for over a year. The condition is not easily diagnosed with an x-ray, but needs a CT scan or an MRI. I awaiting for a total hip replacement. Keep pressing until they find the reason for your pain. I will keep you in my prayers.
Praying for you as well. You’re a wonderfully talented, loving, sharing lady. You deserve good health and happiness and all that goes along with it. God Bless.
Thank you for posting this gorgeous card, Becca. It is cheerful, but still so very elegant – and the sentiment is sooo important.
I’ll be keeping you in my prayers for recovery from your painful joints. I hate it that you are struggling with that sort of thing. Nothing is more discouraging that chronic pain like that. Anyway, I’m so so so happy you were with your children for Christmas. I know it must have been a precious time for you.
Hi Becca,
I’m sorry to hear you’ve been feeling so rotten. Any form of creativity definitely gets a million times harder when you don’t feel like doing it. I really enjoy your blog and hope everything comes out ok. Keep asking questions, you’re doing the right thing. It took 16 years for me to be ‘officially’ diagnosed with MS and that was with me constantly pushing for answers. I always figure it’s better to push for answers than allow yourself to be pushed out the door. Praying for relief and answers for you.
I will be saying a prayer for you Becca! Just remember, the Lord is with you always! There’s no need to worry.
I love this recent card you made. The colors are calming. Your recent emotional state is reflected in this card; the colors, the sentiment, the embellishments. It’s very lovely, as always!
Becca,
I am so sorry to hear about your hip pain. I have hip dysplasia and other back/hip problems due to one leg being shorter (just a little bit) than the other. If you have been wearing some sort of brace or boot on one foot it can throw your sacroiliac joint out of alignment. It can be very painful. I don’t know if this is your problem but it is so hard to understand why doctors who should know better don’t tell people to wear a heel-height on the other foot to balance their leg lengths. When mine gets “messed up” it is extremely painful to sit for any length of time. Good luck finding a doctor that can find out what is really wrong. Hope your new year is pain-free.
Becca,
Another beautiful card! I haven’t felt up to crafting lately either. Praying that you will be feeling better very soon and your doctor will be thorough and found the root of the problem. Hugs to you!
Prayers for you Becca.
Becca,
Another beautiful card as always. Sorry to hear about the hip pain. I have had a Mortons neuroma in my left foot, was walking what I call “crooked” for some time, and it has caused my hip to really hurt. The boot you wore for so long has probably caused the problem. Wishing you the best, and praying for you.
I’m praying your time away helped you recharge and I know all to well about hip pain. I know that the right doctor will find the diagnosis and you will be well and feeling better. It might take a while to figure out the pain like it did for me and the pain my go away and return once in a while, but you will be yourself soon. Thank you so much for sharing your struggles and sharing your gorgeous pieces of art. You are a treasure.
Becca, As you well know I’m sure – Matthew 6 tells us not to worry about tomorrow – the worry is Gods. Nehemiah 8:10 also tells us “The joy of the Lord is your strength”. I will be praying that you will find your strength in the joy of the Lord. With all my heart – Rochelle
Beautiful work as always, Becca!
I am happy that you were able to have a good Christmas with your family.
My prayers are winging their way to you…….
Hugs, Candy
Prayers for you, Becca. Lovely card. Hope the new year brings you freedom from the hip pain!
Praying for you, Becca. For what its worth, it COULD be arthritis. I have osteoarthritis and I know how painful it can be.
So glad to see you back. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Just to share a little story and maybe some hope.. last Spring I had the most severe and horrible knee and leg pain. I was using crutches to walk and thought for sure that I was going to end up with a knee replacement. Someone suggested a shot therapy called Euflex (I think). Had a series of 3 shots and slowly over the summer things improved. I now walk without any pain. I also began to take vitamin D (2,000 units) every day. That helped with some hip pain that I was having as well. Anyway, I’m beginning to find out that time seems to take care of most pain… even though I suffer with it for months. Of course I do pray and ask God for healing so I give Him the glory for any relief of pain!!
I pray that God will heal your aches and pains as well and that His love will bring you comfort during the most difficult times.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful work with us through your blog!
You have my prayers and positive thoughts coming your way!
I always enjoy your blog posts and missed you. But I also understand the need for time with family and I’m glad for you that your ailing laptop didn’t accompany you on your trip with the family, especially the Christmas holiday. I, too, am suffering from hip pain and just today went to the doctor to begin figuring it out. I love your sample card today.
Be good to you and I send healing prayers.
Dear Becca,
I hope your holiday was wonderful, and full of the wonderment of our Lord and Saviour! His love & strength surely go with you always.
My prayers are going your way and thank you so much for all you do.
Iris Frank
This is a lovely card, as always! I pick the Spellbinders I want to add to my collection by noting the ones you have used. Someday I hope to be able to combine them in the beautiful way that you do. So glad to hear that the problem is a manageable one!
Beautiful card Becca, sure hope everything will be alright with that hip.
Becca I said a prayer as soon as I saw your request. When they say “just arthritis” they obviously do not know how painful it can be.
So glad you got to be with your family. I’m sure this was a difficult Christmas for you.
Good to see you again!
Thank you for showing us this beautiful card today. Take care of yourself and I wish you strength and speedy healing.
Dear Becca,
It is good to hear from you and to see your lovely work! I will certainly pray for you as I completely relate to your anxiety. With prayers for your comfort, rest, and peace and for your doctors’ attentiveness and wisdom,
Christine
Most of the time, I don’t like quotes from people, preferring Scripture instead. But this quote resonated with me because it’s something I’ve been thinking about. My husband has lived with MM for six years now, and I don’t know how much time he has left with us, so I want to savor the memories, the little things. Not unlike Mary in Luke 2:19 “But Mary treasured up all these things, pondering them in her heart.”
When you’re in pain, not knowing what is wrong and having the doctors just shrug makes it difficult and stressful. I’m suffering with lower back pain – have been since Black Friday – and the doctor just said not to take too many prescription pain relievers, use heat or ice, and stay off my feet. Right. Might I suggest you look into a TENS unit? It’s the only thing giving me relief right now. I do hope and pray you get some answers about your pain soon.
Prayers for you! Thanks for bringing so much beauty to all of us!
Yeah, what a card to behold. Definitely Becca you can always count on my prayers—would storm the gates of heaven for your complete deliverance from this whole ordeal. And of course count on God’s unquestionable faithfulness and goodness to us especially in the darkest times in our lives. Much love from me and more blessings for the coming year.
Beautiful card as always. So sorry to hear of your pain, I hope you get some relief soon. Take care.
just to wish you more of a speedy recovery than to wow at your beautiful card design once again. had missed you, ten days really a long time. if i lived in america you would be one of the people i would have to meet to see if you are for real lol. again, love the card…happy holidays
Hi Becca
I have been going through the same … awful back and hip pain which apparently too is arthritis (am only 49!) so I do feel for you but we do have THE Healer who knows all our pains! Good to know. Will be praying for you, Love Mandi
Lovely card as usual Becca. My prayers are going out for you.
So glad you were able to spend time with your family over the holiday.
Has the doctors checked you for sciatica? I developed that after wearing a boot for a while. It is extremely painful. I hope and pray that they will find out what is wrong with your hip and be able to treat it.
God Bless.
I missed you! I pray you will receive all good news from Doctors. Although arthirits is not a good thing, at least you can cope with that!
Becca, you are in my prayers… prayers that everything is ok and prayers that your faith will grow and the worry will be gone in the face of a God who loves you so very much and has you in the palm of His hand and will never let anything come about that you, with Him, can’t handle. ((HUGS))
Becca, Prayers go up for you from me everyday! Your blog has been such a blessing to me that I thank God everyday that I found you. You are such a wonderful inspiration, not to mention a very talented crafter. I hope your Christmas was a happy one and also filled with joy of the beautiful family you have.
I missed hearing from you so much and feel bad that you have been going through so much with your hip, hopefully it’s “just” arthritis (of course, I’m not sure that’s the right way to phrase it because arthritis can be so crippling) … but I know that you would like to avoid surgery. Love your card and the saying and think that it fits most everyone at one time or another. I will definitely say a prayer or two foryou.
Happy New Year earl just in case you don’t post again before the New Year rings in.
Oh Becca, I wish you the very best of health and happiness, you keep giving us so much inspiration with your talent and I am sending you warmest vibes to make you feel better…..Happy New Year!!
Hi Becca…I am an RN specializing in pain management, using the modality of Foot Reflexology.I would suggest going on the web & locating an American Board Certified Reflexologist…(ARCB) in your area. The results are amazing.Wish you lived closer, I would sit @ your feet. You are such a giving blessing to sooo many. May the Lord lead you to relief & comfort.Prayers of Comfort & Joy…
Hello Becca ~ thank you for the pretty card. It is nice to see you again. May God bless you during the new year and your upcoming doctor appointments. Take care. Jean.
Praying for your complete healing! Take care,
Merry Christmas to you and yours!
God bless,
tinyfeet
Beautiful card Becca. I love that sentiment too. I also love the layering of the die-cuts. Beautiful colors chosen. Beautiful work. So glad you had a wonderful Christmas. I will continue to pray for you Becca I will add to worry less to my prayer. Take care and keep up the appointments. As always Becca, TFS!!! :-D
Becca:
My prayers are with you. Hopefully the pain will cease soon. God did not give us the spirit of fear. If you believe in the power of prayer, then don’t worry God’s Got This!
Pain is all it is cracked up to be. It hurts and needs to be accurately diagnosed. ‘Just arthritis’ does not cut it. If it is arthritis, then you need to be under the care of a rheumatologist. Improperly-managed arthritis is a debilitating disease and needs active management. Perhaps it’s time for a consult with a new doctor. Prayers for you, dear Becca. I hope this is resolved promptly and to your satisfaction.
Despite your pain, you managed to make another knock-out card. Beautiful! Take care; do everything you can to get to the root of this problem; forget about us – you need to pour all of your energy into the healing process. Sending long distance hugs.
Love and prayers to you today. I pray Gods healing and peace to you. Enjoy your family! Happy New Year to you and yours.
I am French, I do not speak much English but I wanted to say I love what you do. Everything is really beautiful !
May God guide you to the correct diagnosis and treatment. My prayers are sent to you for a healthy and happy New Year. I truly believe without your health you cannot do anything. It’s like getting your house in order. In this case your “house” is your body. Get well and continue to inspire me with your beautiful cards.
Hey Becca…prayer said…I too have lots of pain, so I know what it’s like. You are in my heart. I’m glad you had the chance to be together with the kids. I shared some time Christmas eve with my oldest son and his girlfriend. Then Christmas day brought my younger son, his girlfriend and their sweet new little one Mason! There were a couple of other friends who joined us. We had a great time. I didn’t get to see the rest of my grand children, but life gets in the way.
Wishing you all the best with your docs visits, and a wonderful 2012
Hi Becca, so lovely to see you back but very sad to hear that your pain has been so bad, I hope these doctors get you some relief asap.
I am so pleased you spent Christmas with your children and I hope you had a most wonderful time. I travelled down to see my son, his wife and 4children Christmas eve and it was lovely to see the grandchildren excitedly opening their presents.
Christmas day my eldest son, his wife and my grandson popped in for an hour and then my two younger children stayed for lunch. It was alot quieter for me as I am so used to everyone coming to me, and I missed them alot. Here’s to New Years Day, when hopefully all will be home for lunch together!
I love todays card Becca, so different and its style would be beautiful for a Christening or Easter as it’s almost a symbolic cross.
Take care of yourself my blogfriend.
Sending a prayer for you across the miles
Linda (S.Wales, UK)
So good to see you back here Becca, Ive missed your here, and got a bit worried.
Sooo sorry you have to deal with all these pains, and I agree with everybody else here, just keep onm until the doctors will listen. I have been suffering from back and hippains all my life and they just kept on and on with all kind of excuses, but 15 years ago they suddenly had to do a total hipreplacement, and then all that pains were gone, and now I´ve had 4 big backsurgeries, but even they´ve now replaced 6 vertebras it´s unfortunately too late, as they´re all too damaged, so I´ll never get rid of all the pains, but at least they´ve got better these last couple of years, but don´t let them take it this far, but demand they take some scanas, cause many things can only be seen on a scan and not on an x-ray.
Your card is so beautiful as always hun, I hope to see lots more of them in the new year.
have a wonderful New Year and hopefully a much better and painfree 2012. You´ll definitely be in my prayers here.
So happy you were able to spend the Christmas Holiday with your children. I did too and there is nothing better than sharing time with them as they grow so fast! Hearing from you was great. I, too, was worried a bit about you. Selfish I know, as you, too, have life outside the website. Will keep you in my prayers that information comes your way with answers and help for the pain.
We all love you and miss you when you are away.
Your cards and the most meaningful and heart felt and that takes time and lots of thot. Thanks for being you!
Perhaps having to wear a cast on your foot for so long threw you hips off a bit? Maybe time will tell?
Becca,
There is nothing worse then cronic pain. You were so smart in persuing a Doctor’s check up thou. You never know and it is always good to find out what the actual cause is. If it is just arthritis there are things that you can do to help. Excersise is one. I enjured my back and tore my rotator cuff a few years back. My doctor told me with both of those injuries that I would probably suffer from arthritis later and the best thing would be to continue to limber those joints and do stretching exercises when I wake up in the morning before I start my day. He also recommended doing them to end my day as well. It really helps. Your doctor can recommend some that are specifically for your areas of pain. I will say a little prayer, and try not to stress to much. It only seems to agrivate the situation. I know it is easier said then done, but try not to dwell on what if’s. Wait and see what the doctor comes up with. Hope you had a super Christmas with the family, and Happy New Year !!!! Wonderful card by the way.
Marcie
It looks like a lot of people are, or have been, living with long term pain. That is a shame, given modern day medicine. I, too, have back pain and sciatica pain. I recently went to a rheumatologist. He said it was not this or that and recommended going to a sleep clinic. I don’t see how sleeping better will get rid of the pain. I never went to the sleep clinic and never went back to the rheumatologist.
Have a blessed holiday and Happy New Year.
Ps. I love my iPad for taking my computer with me when I travel. So much lighter and more compact then a laptop. I hardly use my laptop any more.
Hi Sweet girl, You know, everytime I hear of someone that is obviously a true child of God, with many many trials they are going through , I can’t help but think how blessed they are. Our family went through over 10 years of one trial after the other and it was all we could do to start to get up and then once again get knocked down again. One day I was so down and felt like I just couldn’t keep going on , when suddenly that small voice spoke to my soul. He reminded me of how many of His children had gone through many trials and pain and tribulations and yet how He was able to use them for His greater purpose. If you will go through the Bible , you will realize yourself how many of God’s special children went through pain and hurt and suffering. Just think how loved you must be to be in the same company as those wonderful souls before you. Jesus , of course, the most noted. So , my friend, congratulations…. You are among those much loved… It’s not about this earth, this is only a stopping place, and I do believe you help to bring His message to those that would , otherwise , not hear. God bless you , Becca, be of good cheer….. You are blessed …… Hugs, Denice
Dear Becca,
Prayers and hugs coming your way! Glad you could get to be with family…it is priceless! Happy, healthy new year!
Hi honey,,,,,,,I’m sorry about your hip pain. A few years ago, I had hip pain so badly, I went to about a dozen doctors ruling out everything you can imagine from the merely irritating to the terrifying.
Finally,,,,,,an answer. I had six herniated discs in my lower (lumbar) region of my back,,,,and YES it causes hip pain. It got so bad that a year ago I was in such agony getting out of bed that I felt fire go down my leg, and it’s been numb since.
Anyway, my purpose wasn’t to whine to you LOL, but just to suggest that if you haven’t had an MRI of your back, especially the lumbar region yet, you should have one.
They finally put me on cymbalta, which relieved about 60% of my pain,,,,I still have pain,,,,,I no longer have agony. What I have is controllable.
Just thought I’d offer the suggestion, since I know it took them YEARS to figure it out with me!
Hugs, hope you feel better very quickly!
Holly
I am so happy to see that you are back to your blog. I am relieved that you are OK. I definitely will keep you in my prayers. I know what hip pain is like and mine is arthritis. There are many new drugs on the market that the doctor can prescribe that helps with the arthritis. The one I am on is not a narcotic and it doesn’t make me dopey (other than my usual dopey-ness). You are such an inspiration to me and you share your talent so willingly. Thanks you and Happy New Year.
I hate to hear about anyone in pain. I, myself, suffer 24/7 after having polio as a child and a knee replacement on my “good” leg 3 years ago that went very wrong. The first thing I think you need is a new doctor. Someone who will listen to what you are telling them (Good luck with that). The second is an MRI, or more if you need them. If THEY were in pain THEY would find the cause. And beware of taking too many Aleve or Advil. I made that mistake and ended up with an ulcer. Pain can take over your life and those who have never had it have no idea what you are talking about. They have nothing to base it on, so they cannot relate to you. Take care, try to do some basic back exercises, and get as much rest as possible. Hope you will soon be back to a more normal life. You are very important to all of us, and we wish you the best.
Your card is just Beautiful, love the sentiment stamping on top of the image, gorgeous papers and pearls!
So sorry to hear about your health problems, I know I had pain in my knees and legs very bad and finally got some medicine that helps me get thru the day, it is so frustrating until you can find out what makes it better.
I’m praying for you.
Beautiful card with a sentiment we should all keep in our minds and hearts as we go through our daily lives. There is so much truth in those words, but unfortunately so many of us don’t realize it until it is too late. Glad to hear you were able to have all your children together for Christmas. Sorry to hear about your hip pain. Just keep being persistent with the doctors and don’t give up. I like many others have already mentioned, wonder if it might be related to your boot wearing. The body really does love to be in symmetry and when one side is so out of symmetry and making the other side compensate for things, it really can make for problems in other areas. Sometimes Dr’s don’t ask enough about history or take the time to really listen to what the patient is saying. Talk louder, (you know you do have a quiet soothing voice… we all comment about that :-) and make them look you in the eye, so hopefully you can get a sense that they are really listening and absorbing what they are hearing. I will have you in my prayers.
Becca- Praying for you and hoping you feel better soon.
KellyG
prayer and healing Light for you Becca. Arthritis is no ‘just’!
You are the queen of layering!
Patience and curiosity for 2012
blessings, to you
Welcome back Becca! We love hearing from you! You are in my thoughts.
…………..have missed you! Love the card you posted today…….the sentiment is one of my favorites!
Hi Becca..my name is Dee and I follow your blog faithfully. I also work for a physical therapy office in the state of Wa. If you can find a good physical therapist in your area that is an orthopedic specialist, they may be able to help you determine wht is causing your pain. I’m not sure where you live, but I could ask our guys if they know of anyone in that area. It is a field that I have seen the therapists find things that the Dr’s can’t find and then help you with recovery. If you have been wearing a boot for your foot, that could have aggrevated other things. My email is attached to this if I can be of any help. And I will pray for you. My husband and I pastor a church here. Hugs!
What a beautiful card Becca and love the sentiment! love the colours and the style. I hope you get some relief from your hip problem soon….pain is so debillatating! but hang in there knowing we are all thinking of you.
LOL Eileen
Glad you were able to spend time with your kids for Christmas. We did also and it makes for a much better holiday.
Sorry to hear you are having hip problems. I hope it is only arthritis and pray it is so. Please keep us informed. We all care deeply.
Hugs…
Don’t despair my lovely. I had a total hip replacement 2 years ago and have never looked back. The first consultant said that at 56 I was too young to have hip replacement? Saw another and he said pain is pain whatever your age and he agreed to do the op. Finished up with one leg 0.5″ shorter than the other. This caused a short term problem with walking. I had my shoes raised so that I was level again. No problems now. I go to the local pool 2/3 times a week to keep everything limbered up. Trying desperately to loose weight but Hey Ho can’t have everything you want. Crafting and my 4 year old grand-daughter keep me sane.
I love your card creations and draw great inspiration from them. If I had half your talent I would be a happy lady.
Sorry to hear about your hip problem ! We leave this with the Lord aint any other who can heal like our Lord Jesus ! Love your work with these cards so inspiring . No matter what you make everyone can see the talent you have
Wishing you all the very best for 2012
Welcome back all the way from Australia!!! I was suffering from withdrawals but I know that is not near as painful as what you were going through.
So happy to see that you spent the most special time of the year with your family and that you enjoyed youself….Lord knows, you deserve it!!!
Hope all goes well with your doctors…oh by the way…you are not alone when it comes to having to wait for your doctor…happens here as well….and thatis not even for specialist services…must be an essential ability for doctors, when they train, to have failed to time management skills exam!!!! I believe that they are just overbooking themselves just in case they have cancellations…
Love reading your posts…keep your beautiful work coming…please!!!!!
Hopeing and praying that your 2012 is better than 2011.
Have not been looking at this blog for a while, but what a blessing I receive every time I come here…………to know someone so talented to give us what God wants from us………….Bless you , my child…….you inspire me……………….just wish I had this talent…………….
Hope you have a great 2012…….
