Are you keeping up with the Spellbinders excitement? You, know the 5 year anniversary Blog Frenzy!!! I’ve stayed up until midnight every night to click over and see what the current Spellbinders Designer is revealing. Just like for you, it is a surprise for me too – and I’m loving it!! Just a reminder that we still have a long way to go in this 16 day extravaganza!! There are prizes every day, and not just one prize, they are progressive. If you’re coming in mid- conversation here and don’t really know what I’m talking about stop what you’re doing right now and hop over to the Spellbinders website and read about it! I sure wouldn’t want you to miss out on all the big news and great prizes!
I do have a card to share with you today and I’m so tickled to say that it includes one of the new Nestabilities – Spellbinders Large Classic Inverted Scalloped Squares – S4-196. If you’ll look carefully at my card, do you see the scallops on the inside of the frame? Yes indeedy, that is a new die cut. I’ve tried to get that look with punches before and it’s hit or miss and now I can do it in one fell swoop. Not only that, but I can put the inverted scallops inside any shape regardless of the contour of the outer edges. I’ve been so excited about this particular die and there are more surprises to come with this one because it works excellently with the preexisting scalloped squares die cut. Please note, these fabulous new dies will be shipping early March!
I’m also tickled to share more newly released stamps from Our Daily Bread Designs! This set is called He Is Risen; it features four sentiments and the image of a cross. Be sure to pop over to Our Daily Bread Designs to have a look at the set in its entirety. This is another set where the sentiments have a good deal of variety with some being short and others being longer. Because of this, you can combine a short and a long sentiment together. Also the short sentiments will come in handy when making a stamped background!
Card Recipe:
Stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs – He is Risen
Paper: Design Paper – K&Co., Bazzill, 140lb Strathmore Watercolor Paper, Pergamano
Ink: Stazon Saddle Brown
Accessories: Spellbinders Large Classic Inverted Scalloped Squares – S4-196, Ribbon, Bling, Vintage Button
Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing the excitement, be sure to come back on January 10th when I preview a new shape that you won’t want to miss!!
