I Love Circles, Especially the Family One

With all the work on circles, I had one of these small circles sitting off to the side that I had experimented with and it became the inspiration for this card.  Glad I was finally able to get it out of my head.  The concept for the card was in my head, but I orginally had a different sentiment picked out.  Once I thought about it a bit, this sentiment came to mind and I realized it was perfect!

The punch I used on the circles is EK Success Intricate Iris and it is punched four times on each circle.  I’m still having fun with circles and I hope you are too!

Supplies:
Stamps:  Stampourri (Retired), Background – Magenta

Paper:  Bazzill
Ink:  Colorbox Chalk – Chestnut Roan, Colorbox Pigment Ink – Merlot
Accessories:  Bling, Ribbon, Nestabilities, EK Success Punch

I have a busy day, but will check in with you later!! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Beautiful work, as usual, Becca. I love how you experiment with punches so we can benefit from your time, effort, creativity and mistakes!

One question: I believe you mentioned this recently but do you think you could give the dimensions of your cards in the card credits? I think you said they’re pretty big. I generally make cards to mail and dimensions are a big factor these days. Ta, luv!ReplyCancel

Good evening, Becca. Your creation today is stunning. When I look at it the colours give me a warm glow just like the thoughts behind the sentiment which I love. I have been blessed with a loving, caring family which is continuing to grow through the youngest members and I find this text very apt. Your presentation of the family circle is wonderful as always.ReplyCancel

Becca, this is definitely one of my all time favorites of your cards! The circle ‘message’ is accented and featured wonderfully with the other punched circles and ribbon accent! LOVELY! The circles seem smaller than some previous ones as it appears you punched four times instead of either. Hate to add to your tasks, but appreciate how you teach with each card. IF you have time to note the size of the circles before you punch, would appreciate it. THANKS for sharing your talent and posting GOOD messages with your cards. Very uplifting! Something I look forward to everytime I look at your blog.

So, Becca, just how long do you paper craft each day? You have so many great cards!

And how do you organize your scraps and leftovers? I am always looking for ways to use up everything and to organize my supplies and tools! Maybe you could do a post on that? :]ReplyCancel
