Flourish and Grow

Hi there!  I’m back with a card featuring one of the new Spellbinders die templates that I’ve fallen in love with.  Oops, I think I say that about every one but this is an amazing release and I guess it’s okay to be in love with all the new ones, right?  I picked a stunning sentiment from Quietfire Design called Flourish and Grow, that I knew would work well in the center.  I used die templates from Spellbinders Floral Doily Motifs and Floral Doily Accents set.  Ahem, I think this one will be a staple in the collection!

I want to keep this short and sweet so I’m going to skip the instructions but as always a product list will follow.  By the way this is a 6″ x6″ card and rare in the fact that I matted with black paper.  The more I do that the more I love that look.

SUPPLIES I USED

Stamps: Quietfire Design – Flourish and Grow
Paper: Bazzill, The Paper Company
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, Vintage Photo Distress Ink
Accessories:
Spellbinders Floral Doily Motifs, Spellbinders Floral Doily Accents, Spellbinders Classic Circles LG, Spellbinders Grand Circles, Ribbon, Pearls

Thanks for stopping in sweet friends.  Be blessed!

What a stunning card! Only you could place those two offset circles and get away with the offset by balancing with the bow. It is a triumph of layering just the right motif and then close colour co-ordination and an inspired stamp. Amazing!ReplyCancel

    Hello Becca
I too have fallen in love with these new dies and I really like the doily motif and the doily accents! I also have taken to the introduction of black to cards. As in your card, the black is so elegant and grounds the card – a hint of colour like that is striking!
I get so excited each day to see something new. You really inspire me with all you do, your use of layering and subtle accents.
    Blessings and hugs,
