Flutterby Butterfly

Hi there blog friends!!  And the spring fever continues, can’t you tell?  I surrender, I’m giving in to it :-)  I picked out some luscious paper and knew I wanted to incorporate a new set that I got from Crafty Secrets called Cupcake Party that includes a cupcake wrapper.  Well you know me and cupcake wrappers, I’m watching my sweets but that sure doesn’t mean that I can ‘t use the wrapper on my card!!  Because the filigree on the wrapper stamp was so pretty, and the paper has a lot of detail, I decided to stamp it on clear acetate using Stazon Ink.  In the past, me and acetate didn’t really get along.  Well, this stamped out like a dream and I was able to line it up perfectly.  I kept going with this stunning butterfly.

I paired it with the amazing butterfly in the new Spellbinders Fanciful Flight set. I finished up with the small pennant from Spellbinders Nested Pennants and a bow.

SUPPLIES I USED
Stamps: Crafty SecretsCupcake Party
Paper
: Bazzill, K & Company
Ink
: Stazon Black, Memento Tuxedo Black

Accessories
: Spellbinders Nested Pennants, Spellbinders Fanciful Flight, Ribbon, pearls

Take care of yourselves and remember, it’s all about today. I’m going out for a breath of fresh air but will see you tomorrow!!
