Much to my chagrin, with as many cards as I make, I often miss out on the opportunity to get them in to mail to people I know. Okay, I admit that once in a while I even buy a store bought card (insert sheepish grin here). October is a huge birthday month, so I’m getting started. I pulled together this simple, paper pieced card with matching envelope to send to a friend. Using the All Wrapped Up Set from Flourishes, I cut the gift box from patterned design paper and created a couple of layers for interest. It is matted on Spellbinders Antique Tag and Spellbinders Labels Four. For the scalloped valance I used Spellbinders Fancy Scalloped Butterfly.
Well my cleaning and chores call, I’ll be back soon!

Becca this is just stunning.I was shocked that you don’t have extra cards for sending to friends.I guess I always think everyone has an abundant stash when they make cards.I have started sending out to Operation write home just so I have a reason to make more. As always thanks for the inspiration.

Becca, your card is adorable! I love anything with dots, too. I’m always amazed at your inspiration with your cards. Do you have to send all your samples to different companies you work for or can you send those cards out to your friends? Have a good week-end, too.

The clothes pin was so pretty, can’t wait to try one. I really love the talent you have and the fun on your birthday. What punch did you use for the border? I love it. Keep the talent coming.
