For You on your Birthday

Much to my chagrin, with as many cards as I make, I often miss out on the opportunity to get them in to mail to people I know.  Okay, I admit that once in a while I even buy a store bought card (insert sheepish grin here).  October is a huge birthday month, so I’m getting started.  I pulled together this simple, paper pieced card with matching envelope to send to a friend.  Using the All Wrapped Up Set from Flourishes, I cut the gift box from patterned design paper and created a couple of layers for interest.   It is matted on Spellbinders Antique Tag and Spellbinders Labels Four.   For the scalloped valance I used Spellbinders Fancy Scalloped Butterfly.

Well my cleaning and chores call, I’ll be back soon!
