I have a card to share this morning . . . I may have been inspired by how glorious it is outside today! I hope the weather is gorgeous where ever you are today. The image I picked for my card is an Impression-Obsession stamp from called Daffodil in the Sun. How I love daffodils!! This one colored up quickly with Tombow Markers and I popped up the heads of the daffodils and some of the leaves to give it some dimension.
I stacked the image on top of two sets of Spellbinders™ Labels Eight. On the top set I also cut with Spellbinders™ Classic Rectangles LG and Spellbinders™ Classic Rectangles SM to create the matted frame. I finished off with one my favorite tags for the sentiment – Spellbinders™ Tags Five – it always seems to fit just the right sized sentiment. I used some rub ons that fit the theme of the stamp for the sentiment.
Card Recipe: Stamps: Impression-Obsession from Stamper’s Dream – Daffodil in the Sun Paper: The Paper Company – Blonde Columns, K & Company Ink: Versafine Onyx Black and clear embossing powder Accessories: Spellbinders™ Labels Eight, Spellbinders™ Classic Rectangles LG, Spellbinders™ Classic Rectangles SM, Spellbinders™ Tags Five |
Big hugs!! I’ll be back tomorrow with something ;-)
very pretty card…..
Love the “springy” card and the blue/yellow combination of colors. It’s raining here today, but we really need it. Thanks for sharing all your beautiful cards, Becca.
Those daffodils look like they are reaching for the warmth of the sun!
It was sunny this morning here in northern Indiana, but the clouds have moved in – anticipating the needed rain soon.
Thank you for sharing, Becca!
Oh boy! I just love this one. But then I’m a sucker for flowers, daffodils and zinnias especially.
Becca, The daffodils are beautiful. This is such a lovely card as are all your creations. I always look forward to your posts.
Hi Becca-
Great card. I noticed you used your Tombow Markers instead of the Copic……………Was there a particular reason? The colors don’t seem as clear and springy as the copics would have. You always inspire me and I strive to figure out how you do what you do………I have become a better crafter thanks to you.
Have a great weekend……….Belated wish to your hubby. You are a great couple……….
Becky
Beautiful card Becca, you colored the flowers so nicely. Very pretty DP chosen. It’s beautiful here today too, with rain over the weekend Yuk! As they say April showers bring May flowers. As always Becca, TFS!!! :-D
This is so pretty…..I love your colors…..and I love that paper…..thank you for sharing…………
Becca,
Beautiful!!!!! Just beautiful.
I love the color combination.

I love the DP coordination–very pretty card. Pretty hot here in Florida today, but I’m not complaining–it’s sunny and breezy, too!
You know, your blog is my homepage…
Love daffodils ! Looks great with this paper! That sentiment is never out of style…thanks
Hi Becca, Very nice. I like that the daffodil comes over the frame a bit. Love all the layers too.
Thanks for all the inspiration, both artful and spiritual, PattyC.
So beautiful, Becca! I love daffodils too and I so miss them since I moved to Arizona from Washington state. I loved visiting the fields in Skagit Valley in April where you saw acres and acres of blooming daffodils and tulips…a beautiful treat for the eyes!
Oh I love all your layering!!! Absolutely stunning card!!!
Becca, Your card is stunning! As always, your creations are beautiful! Love the colors and dp on this one! TFS!
As always I love your card, Becca. The DP is gorgeous and all the layers! I don’t remember this image. But I try not to do to much shopping for IO (very dangerous me for!) Hope that yesterday was a marvelous day for you and DH!

Beautifully done, Becca! LOVE your coloring on those daffodils with the Tombow markers, and the blue designer paper is gorgeous with them! Stunning, indeed! :)
Amazing I say love your card
LOVE this card! LOve the patterned paper (the blue is such a pretty shade). The daffodils are beautiful.
I have a question for you. I have been studying your picture and I can’t figure out how you nested the Labels 8 stacks so that the blue paper was (only slightly) bigger then the pattern paper. When I look at that set I don’t see how the labels would nest so closely. Could you explain that for me? I am feeling kind of confused. Thanks!
oh my, beautiful!
Sandra
I love your colouring on the stamp and the layers! It is beautiful!!!
Thank you for sharing!!! :o)
so pretty, love the dimension throughout!
So beautiful!! tfs

Pretty card! Love the daffodil image and the Labels Eight layers.
