You still have until Friday night at Midnight to enter for the blog candy. Read about the rules and enter HERE.
I’m using one of the new sets from Our Daily Bread Designs called Nest. The sentiments are wonderful and cover so many occasions, so I’ve made a card that can be used as housewarming, welcome to the neighborhood or just a gift. In order to get the sentiment to fit on the tag I created, I used my Stampamajig to split the sentiment in half – ya gotta love that tool!! I was intrigued by the shape made when crossing two Spellbinders™ Labels Four and used it as a mat for my oval medallion using Spellbinders™ Petite Scalloped Ovals LG, Spellbinders™ Petite Ovals SM and Spellbinders™ Petite Ovals LG.
From my stash I had a piece of lace that is actually raw on the edges and is probably used for insertion in heirloom sewing – it just seemed to add a little bit of interest to the underlying green ribbon.

Lovely coloring of the image and like the layering of the dies, pretty bow!
Beautiful card!! If I keep working at it I’ll learn to color as pretty as you. BUT my BL tonight would be to see the Grand Canyon.
Another masterpiece. Add stamping like you to my bucket list!
STUNNING! BEAUTIFUL!! GORGEOUS!!! AMAZING!!!! AWESOME!!! etc., etc., etc.,……….
Another stunning card. Your choice of colors and textures are great. How do you do it? I mean really. How do you start to put it all together and make it so wonderful? If you haven’t done it already I would love to see you put together a tutorial on your process. How do you get started when you have a blank card in front of you? That’s my problem. I think that I will put that on my bucket list. . . helping you help us. Hahahahaha.
You’ve done it again! Thanks for the inspiration!
Another thing on my list is to spend time with my sister who lives 2,000 miles away.
You are truly a gifted person.
Another item for my bucket list is to visit Alaska.
You are “amazing” your cards are absolutely beautiful. I love the bird nest stamp and you have done a very unique card with it. One thing on my bucket list is to go Wyoming when they have the big rodeo. My family went when I was young and I have always wanted to go back.
Becca, I really love this card. The image and the sentiment are lovely too.
Patricia
Very cute card! Another thing on my bucket list would be to visit the Holy Land. Of course, I would have to get over my fear of flying. I would love to walk where Jesus walked.
All the layers are just so cute. I cannot believe that you keep coming up with all your lovely ideas! Another bucket list item is for us to have enough money to pay our bills on time and enough to help others in need. Thanks, Becca!

Dear Becca
Beautiful card for Easter that you have created.
Your work is amazing.
Happy Stamping from Joyce.
As always, beautiful and filled with love. Your work just screams “I love you” in every project you do.
Patsy
Beautiful colors, great paper combos. I’m learning so much from you : )
Hi Becca, Hope you and your family are doing better. I’m still praying for ya too. You’re card is beautiful. Your coloring is beyond compare. I study your work and try to use your technique when I color. (I didn’t say I achieve it, but I try.) What a nice gift this card would be, for someone to get when they move into your neighborhood. As for the “B” list……..My husband lived in Idaho when he was a young man. He traveled all over the west and from Canada to Texas. He loved it. He’s talked so much about it that I have wanted to go there too. Well, you know with work and getting a start in life, building a home, having children (5), we didn’t have the time or money to go. Now the kids are out of college and out of the house, so now’s the time, right? Hopefully if life doesn’t get in the way, my Sweetie and I will get there. That’s the Plan! Thanks for letting me try to win your fun candy. I would sooo love to win! Blessings! Patty W.
That is a very beautiful, crisp, cute, fluffy, amazing, flavored, nested, mind blowing, mind boggling, awesomely made, I think I’m short of adjectives all of a sudden looking at that beauty…… On the whole a PERFECT CUSTOM CARD!!!!!!
Ash…..
Another gorgeous winner Becca. The colors chosen are beautiful too. Great composition with perfect layers. TFS!!! :D
This is a beautiful card Becca. I love this colour combo. It is so rich looking.
Last bucket “thing”: I dunno. I just can’t think of any more. I am going to sit down and make a list, including the things I’ve posted here, and turn it into a scrapbook page.
Just a fab-u-las card, you always kick it up a notch. As for my bucket list, guess it would be learn a new language, probably a romantic one, French. Bonjour and Au Revoir! (its a start)
Your cards are always wonderful, Becca, but there’s something about this one that really sings to me. Maybe it’s the colors, the stamp, the design – everything you do is inspiring.
One more bucket list item: To share my time and talents helping others.
So charming Becca!! I LOVE that nest image and you colored it beautifully!!
You are right – the “ribbon” is called entredeux (between two) and it is used as insertion between two pieces of fabric – usually a fine cotton batiste! With the opening being so wide, this probably would have been used as beading with a fine satin ribbon woven in and out through the bars – maybe you can try that technique with your entredeux on another card! I used to do lots of French heirloom sewing by hand and machine when my darling neices were young, I sure miss all the special requests for American Girl doll clothes! Now they are in college – I’ll have to hope for lots of grands!
Your card is exquisite, I have Label 4 and I am in love with how they look crossed! Brilliant, as always!
Wow–awesome image & bow. The sentiment is so cute.
So gorgeous!!
Another beautiful card, Becca. The deep green ribbon is stunning…a comforting color to me. Another bucket list desire would be to have a week long workshop with you. I don’t want to copy your art, however, I would like to learn a sense of how you put things together; what is the creative process that you go through.
Thank you for giving us this topic to dream and share.
Becca, this card is absolutely beautiful. The nest in the oval really looks like it is embroiderd and still in the hoop. You never cease to amaze me. Thanks for always sharing.
Added my bucket list comment to the other page, but just had to comment on this card. it’s stunning. Love the colors and the way it’s put together. Great sentiment and on my list of must haves.
This is gorgeous… You make the best bows ever, they bring such beauty to you cards. I keep telling myself I have to take bow lessons from you… I can’t tie a bow if my life depended on it…well maybe then…lol
Hi Becca. I’ve thought of another item for my bucket list. I would like to scan all my photos and put them on disks for safe keeping. Plus i could share them with family members.
Such a pretty card today. You know, I’m kind of curious about your scrap area. Have you ever taken photos of it? I’m sorry, I guess I’m just nosy, lol. Take care,
~Bonnie
Soooo pretty Becca! I love your matting… as always…. beautiful deep green bow! Yum!!!
I love the soft coloring on the image! Beautiful card!!
Becca,
Wow, this is beautiful!
Hugs,
Lisa Atha
P.S. How’s your hubby doing?
It’s a beautiful card and a wonderfully creative use of the ribbon insertion strip. Incidentally, that’s what it is. Not lace. And you were right in your guess concerning one of its uses. It was a common element in Ladies ‘intimate garments’ in times before elastic. Ribbon was threaded through, gathered and tied in a knot or bow. So it was both functional and decorative. Today it’s usually just a decorative element.
Becca, this is so lovely!
Just wanted to tell you it was an absolute pleasure looking over your blog today.
This whole card just ROCKS!! Wowzers!
