Hi there sweet friends. Hope you had a great Cyber Monday. Did you shop the day away? The time got away from me so I missed out on some of the deals, but I had fun looking. I have a fun card to share today, kind for different for me, but I had fun making it. The best way I can describe it is as a gatefold card. When I was playing around with this Custom Window Die Cut Template from Our Daily Bread Design and Spellbinders. I came across some neat K & Company Paper for a view of Santa, through the window.
The sentiment from Warm Wishes was cut using Spellbinders Ribbon Banners and behind it I’ve hidden a small flat magnet in order to hold the card closed. The ribbon extends across half of the card so that it can open but I still was able to have a bow :-)
The card is 6″ x 6″ and I used the entire width of 12″ x 12″ paper by scoring at 3″ and 9″ for my basic gatefold card. Then I added flaps on top of that (attached at the center edges on the top and bottom) to hold the Window die cuts. I overlapped two of the window dies on flaps of the card adhering them only on the edges – the left window adhered only on the left edge of the window, the right window adhered only on the right edge of the window
SUPPLIES I USED |
Stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs – Warm Wishes Paper: K & Co., Coredinations Ink: Versafine Onyx Black Accessories: ODBD Custom Window Die Cut, Spellbinders Ribbon Banners, Seam Binding, Magnets, Martha Stewart Border Punch |
Thanks so much for stopping by. Sending hugs your way on this glorious day!!
Oh, isn’t that cute! I just love the design with Santa’s sleigh showing in the window! What a lovely card, Becca.
Oh my goodness, this is so gorgeous Becca. I love this one, and I´m truely impressed, how you always seems to find of new ways to make your awesome folds. Would you share a small tut for how this is folded and adhered that window right? I have tryed to see if I can figure that out, but not sure, I´ve got it all right. It´ll be sooo awesome for many types of cards, I think. You´re such a genius hun.
Have a wonderful week and lots of crafty fun, I hope.
Becca — you are simply amazing! What a glorious card. Any child, or child at heart would absolutely love this vision of Santa through the window.
Becca, I just love this. Very different from your usual style as you say, but a great success!

Not one of your usual cards, but I’d say you should think about doing more of these because this has to be one of my favorites that you’ve done. Your talent amazes me!
Becca,
That is such a lovely card. I wish I had your talent to think up such lovely things.
Thank you
Beautiful card Becca! Hope you’re feeling better today. Dealing with life’s “little obstacles” is never easy.
I am having eye surgery on the 7th and will be “face down” until Dec.21.
Kind of puts a kink into getting ready for Christmas. Your beautiful card has given me the inspiration to “get going”.
Wonder if I can still make cards while face down? LOL
Hugs

I hope this day finds you feeling better. You make my day like a ray of sunshine. I want to thank you for that. I love the card.
Trust you to come up with something so clever and well executed … another Becca Beauty!
Hi…I love this card. I ordered that template and recieved it over a week ago and have to admit that I’m finding it a little challenging to use. It’s not what I had expected. Thanks for the tip. I love the window (and the little squares that it leaves behind…very useful also). TFS :)
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I love this card. Hopefully, there will be a tutorial on your wonderful site – I simply must learn how to do this!
Thank you as always for sharing and inspiring all of us. God Bless
I love gatefold cards. Beautiful! Thank you Becca for sharing your amazing talent!
Wow! Simply stunning!
Good morning Sunshine from Quebec! This card is so precious, I just love it to pieces. I said on your last post that it was my favourite card. Know what? This is my favourite card too but in the “fun & adorable” category. Your talent never ceases to amaze and I continue to pray that your health improves.
Your card is adorable Becca. This is something that I never think about doing, stamping on any of my decorative papers. Thank for the great ideas!
This is so sweet. Your talent is just amazing. Thank you for sharing
Good morning Becca ~ as always your card is imaginative, and pretty. Hope you’re having a good day and feeling fine today. Thanks for sharing. Take care.

Awesome card!! You are sooooo creative. Blessings for a wonderful day.
Totally awesome card. Really like the window die.
wow Becca, this is awesome.
Becca
this is gorgeous.
Very pretty widow scene gatefold card Becca. It brings back some very nice memories. Your creativity amazes me. I love how the windows line up on the front of the card but when open gives a bigger view of the main focal. Beautiful work. As always Becca, TFS!!! :-D
Such a beautiful card. I certainly hope you are putting together a tutorial on this. Your instructions are pretty good, but it’s the attaching the window to the flaps that is a little confusing to me. I can’t quite see how they are attached. I would love to make this card for several friends and family. I already have the paper. Thanks for sharing.
A gorgeous card Becca… I have ordered the window from your Spellbinder and the elegant ovals… That was after I put in a huge order in though Just Rite…. Mentioned your name, so may they will give you a nice pat on the back!!! Seriously we are loving your cards and your layouts and this one is so perfect.. am just loving it… I already have the background, so I fell in love with the window to use for the background.. Hope it doesn’t take too long to get here… I am anxious to get it!!
Hugs and thank you for your gorgeous work… You enspire me..
Hugs, Jean

OK Becca,
Another amazing, over-the-top, awesome card! This one kinda goes over my head trying to figure out how you did the attaching of the window panes. Can’t figure it out…. any chance for a quick tutorial that we can watch?? I’d love to add a bunch of these to the Christmas cards I’ve already made to go out this year.
Love all your art and as always- thanks for sharing your talents!
Hugs!!
Lovely & unique card. As always. Sure hope you are beginning to feel better. Miss your posts. Saying a prayer for your good health.
Absolutely gorgeous! You have got to do a tutorial on this card. I learn so much from you, and I do appreciate the time you take to do these tutorials.
Becca, this is amazing (and genius). It would’ve been very cool with just the one window, but when you can display it as two windows…even better. Love, Love, LOVE it! I’ve gotta make one for my Mom. She’ll just love it! Thank you for sharing this awesome card. I’m off to make one. =)
Amazing!

I HAVE to make this card!!! I continue to pray for your improved health and that God helps the doctors to figure out how to best help you.
Becca,
That is the coolest card structure I have ever seen. Thank you for all your wonderful creations. You are an inspiration in so many ways. NancyD
Bekka, I absolutely love this card and would love to case it, but I don’t think I have the patience to figure out exactly how to attach everything! This card is so beautiful! If you send it to me for Christmas then I wouldn’t have to get my blood pressure up trying to make one! LOL.
Such loveliness!!
Lovely card – TFS. Wishing you the best.

Oh, this is fabulous and requires studying and a huge WOW response. Love your idea of the magnet hidden behind the scroll. No time now but I’ll return to study the design again. So sorry to hear of your foot-turned-to-back-problems. Do take care of yourself.
I love this! Very clever to hide a magnet in there to keep it closed. I’d love to see a video on this one if you ever find the time!
Becca! We’ve missed you. Doesn’t get much better than this for a Christmas card. And with different paper would be an elegant card for just about any occasion. Hope that things are getting better with the back and foot.
Sending a feel better hug,
R/
LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! I too would like a tutorial, but only when you feel better, you come first.
Very cool! It is fun to use paper as the focal point with very little stamping sometimes. Your are always intricate and interesting.
Oh Becca this is stunning. A truly inspirational card that is so different.
I do hope you are in less pain today and that a solution is found for you very soon. Take care of yourself.
All the best Linda
Wonderful card Becca, just gorgeous, stunning is more like it. Love your work!! I did try and get that window die, but it is now not available until at least christmas or so, they said at least 3-4 weeks before they get it back in stock.
Can’t wait to try and get one, so love it, was hoping to get one right away, but guess all good things come in time.
Have a great Holiday.

This card is so gorgeous–such a cute idea for a CHRISTmas card!! Thank YOU so much for sharing!!
This is just gorgeous – and very clever. Let me echo some of the sentiments above and tell you I would love to see a tutorial on how this card goes together with the flaps and the folds.
I so love this card!! I can’t wait to get that die for the window, but unfortunately it is unavailable for at least a month, the store you got it at said that they have ordered them but don’t expect spellbinders to have them for about 4 weeks from now, was so disappointed, but such is life, will be glad to get it though, so many possibilities.
Thanks for sharing you wonderful talents
