Howdy friends, I hope you are a butterfly lover just as I am. Die cut filigree butterflies simply make me swoon. I love this new Spellbinders™ Les Papillions Two set which lets me layer the filigree portion over the solid portion for stunning layers. It goes along perfectly with a new set by JustRite Papercrafts called Butterfly Dreams. In order to create a frame in which to set all my embellishments I cut Spellbinders™ Gold Labels Four and Spellbinders™ Labels Four at the same time and while both dies were in place, I stenciled in between the two dies to create the colored frame.
My card is smaller than my usual and I love how tight it makes everything fit. This one is 4.25″ tall by 6.5″ wide.

Yesterday several people asked me about the corrugated paper I used in yesterdays card. No, I’m not good at all at stripping boxes, lol!! Michael’s sells a set of corrugated cards with craft envelopes under the Recollections brand. They come in a box of 30 and the size of the card is 6″ x 6″ doubled which essentially yields a 12 x 6 panel with a crease in it. If I need to cut it in half, 6″ x 6″ will be plenty big. It was a sweet find along with the 40% off coupon I used :-) Have a stellar day!!
ooh my goodness Becca, this is soooooooo gorgeous. I´m totally in love with this one here. It´s soooooo beautiful as can be, and I just soooooooooo love it. WAUW WAUW WAUW.

This is stunning Becca, I love that butterfly and love the colors.
Becca, how sweet this card is! I haven’t seen that sentiment before, and boy! did I need it this morning!!! The card just plain makes me happy. Thank you for that gift today!
Beautiful card. Love the butterfly. You know what they say. If nothing ever changed there would be no butterflies.
LOVE this little card Becca!!!!!!!!!! DEFINATELY, a hand delivery! :) (Then you get to see the delight in ones face too! )
Very beautiful. Bet you’re happy to be back in your grove and you’re so good at it. Glad you got your daughter’s bedroom all in order. Sounds wonderful. Edna
Beautiful as are all your creations. The butterfly is gorgeous and I wonder how you affix it to your card. Do you have some magic pop tape that doesn’t show?
To beautiful to be a card, this is a true keepsake frameable work of art.
Hugs, Lori m
Beautiful Becca, Butterflies are always a must have for me. This
card is just gorgeous, but all your cards are.
Oh my that is absolutely stunning, love the open framing, the sentiment stamped on the deisnger paper and the Beautiful butterfly with the pearl accenting!
Stunning, Becca. I have been considering the butterfly die, but I already have soooooo many butterfly dies I’ve been talking myself out of it. Now I see the possibilities I just might have to reconsider:) Blessings
Beautiful card. Your creative mind must be buzzing with ideas all the time as evidenced on the beauty of this card. Is it hard to stencil in color between the two dies you used? What a great idea and the result is amazing.
Shirley
I loooove butterflies and this one is stunning! Gorgeous card. Good to have you back in blog land too ((hugs))
Oh, Becca, this is such a delicate and sweet card! It springs from the screen, whispering joy and love. I love it! Thank you, for the inspiration. ~Cynthia
Oh Bekka you have the most beautiful cards, I have purchased many a spellbinder because of you but I still have problems removing the paper from the die especially with heavily detailed dies. I use wax paper already and it is so frustrating to get everything planned and prepared and then have cut after cut break because they are stuck. Sometimes I almost wanna give up. Any advice cause you seem to have it mastered.
OOOOoooooH! I love this one!! That butterfly looks so gorgeous on the flower background. And pink! Couldn’t be prettier. Thank you for lending beauty to my day!
Your card is positively delightful. Looking at it transports me into a magical garden with beautiful butterflies. Oh my. The sentiment is also one of my favourites. I’m enchanted with your creation.
And to rectify an omission from yesterday – what great fun you & your daughter must have had in redecorating her room. One of the rites of passage from little girl to young woman. A special time for you both and I’m happy for you.
This is just beautiful Becca. I love your cards….you put so much attention to detail in each and every one. The sentiment is so lovely too!
I too love butterflies and will be adding this die to my Spellbinder’s “wish list”! You are such an inspiration!
This card is so gorgeous and just absolutely perfect! I love your cardmaking style, it is so delicate and feminine and just makes me happy (I know you do masculine cards also which I like but I’m drawn to the feminine ones most).
card very beautiful and elegant linda little
Such a beautiful butterfly…and I love the way your sentiment is printed on the patterned paper…so lovely!
Dreamy card, Becca. I love your stenciled pink between the frame edges. I just need to experiment more with all the dies, like you do — thanks for more inspiration! Aloha <3
Love it. I love how large and open the frame is–so cute with the message inside.
Gorgeous, I love all the layers!
Your cards are breathtaking! Absolute works of art.
I am new to cardmaking – still trying to find my style – and I love yours! Is what you do possible for a beginner? Or does it take years of practice?
I also wonder how you put different dies together to make cuts. You said
“I cut Spellbinders™ Gold Labels Four and Spellbinders™ Labels Four at the same time and while both dies were in place, I stenciled in between the two dies to create the colored frame.”
How do you keep everything evenly spaced? I think I saw somewhere where you said that you tape them together to keep them even, but doesn’t the tape interfere with the cut?
Thanks … For all you do to inspire.
Hi Again Becca, This card is absolutely stunning. As you know I have been following you for a long time and after hoping I could do one of your cards justice, I have now created your Interlocking Gatefold Card from June last year. I have not been well for a while, so I’m thrilled to link my blog to yours after creating my recent card. Hugs from Scotland. Rita xx
Sometimes the details escape me in the overall beauty of your creations…. I am so glad some folks pointed out that you had stamped your sentiment on the design paper itself. Another little “Becca Trick” to try!!

Hi I love all your cards. Unfortunately I am unable to see any of your tutorials unless they are printed. I would love to make some of them but……… any chance of tutorials that are printed? Please.
I pinned these 2 groups of cards for a friend. I don’t want to keep them on my Pinterest account but I can’t delete them. I don’t want to look at them anymore. How can I delete them?
This is stunning! Very, very beautiful!
