Hi there, I thought I would share a picture of a project I made using one of my new favorite sets from Spellbinders (smile). I did that on purpose!! Yes, they are all my favorites! I just thank you for letting me gush and show you the tools I’ve been working with over the last couple of months. It was crafty torture not being able to show or utter a peep so again thanks for indulging me. I always struggle for something to put gifts in like t-shirts, sweaters and other clothing that needs to be wrapped and not just stuck in a gift bag. I have an altered box that took less than an hour to make. Cut, cut, cut, glue, glue, glue and then I was done.
My box features a couple of sets. The triangles all belong to Spellbinders Nested Pennants and Spellbinders Nested Lacey Pennants; so I layered plain triangles over the lacey triangles. The rest of the embellishment was done with Banner Basics One and Two. The final decoration was from Spellbinders Antiquities.
Simple, I tell you!! By the way, since the Lacey Pennants have such a long edge, I used the “lace” from the edge as borders on the box. The box I used was a simple paper mache box ($2.49 at Michaels, I think) and simply covered with coordinating paper and added a door knob that I purchased at Hobby Lobby.

Gush away! I love seeing your creations AND hearing the “voice” of a fellow crafter who gets as excited as I do about a new toy! Now, if only I could translate that excitement into gorgeous, completed projects like you do! ;-)
I could see a bottle of wine in that gorgeous box of yours Becca. Beautifully done. I have to look into those boxes and those pennant dies are on my wish list. As always Becca, TFS!!! and for the inspiration. :-D
WAUW what an awesome project, you´ve done here. It really looks great Becca and I agree, it looks far better to wrap a gift, than all these ordinary giftboxes. Great idea. Also if anyone is so inclined it would be great for a liquor bottle as well.

Wow, and when I first saw the pennant dies, I didn’t think they would be something I’d use. Not now!! This box is bodacious! LOL.
This is superb. I need to start using some of my 40% and 50% off coupons for some of those paper mache boxes!

I always look forward to see what you come up with next. Becca, you have the most wonderful ideas and what an inspiration you are. I wish I had just 1/2 the talent you have.
Thanks for sharing your creativity with us.
One ?. Is that box big enough; say for a regular size bottle of wine?
Michaels and JoAnn’s both will except other stores coupons :} but Hobby Lobby will not. :{
I just used today a JoAnn’s 50% off coupon at Michaels for regular priced item.
Colleen
Oh Wow is that a stunning way to present a gift, it’s a gift unto itself, amazing work once again!
Oh WOW . This is so amazingly beautiful!! I shouted out loud when I saw this . Becca you did it again! The banner dies were NOT on my wish list. Well, that certainly changed with this box . I want them!
What a Fabulous Gift Box!!! So elegant and stately looking.
Your projects are truly amazing. Just when I thought I’ve seen the most beautiful card you come up with another beautiful creation. This box is just stunning. I love all your work. “Thanks for all the inspiration. God bless you.
Becca,
What a great project. You took something ( ie the pennants ) and did something with them I would not have thought of. Kudo’s for your originality and I love the papers you used as well too. Well done!
You are just amazingly creative!
I love it…the colors, the design. Those quick/fun projects always put a smile on my face. TFS
That is stunning Becca again so envious of your talents. Anne
Becca you have got to stop showing us all these projects ( just kidding) just when I think I can get by with out this die or that you come and show me how I could really use it , and the fact that I read that these dies arent even going to be shipping till March is madness since I want to make all your projects NOW. since your in with spellbinders tell them not to show us the dies and what can be done with them till they are on the shelfs. Oh and tell them you should get half of everything they sell cause most of us by them because of the way You use them. I know that the other ladies do a great job too with their projects , But yours are always a MUST MAKE.
On a side not for any of you ladies reading this post check out and sign up for AC Moore I found them in Ga when I was there and they have the dies on line and in the stores if you have one ( I do not in Michigan) but get the email sent to me and they always have 50% and 60% off coupons so even though the dies are more it still is cheaper even with shipping
p.s. not saying don’t buy from spellbinders just when you have a long wish list it helps
Wow, very nice! Great idea! Thanks for sharing!
Becca, that is stunning. I thought the pennants were sets I could live without, but your project changed my mind. Great box and I love the fleur de lis.
A STUNNING project!
Is there a bottle of French wine inside? So perfect!

Oh my goodness, this is just AWESOME!!!!!! Is all that I can say.

You are showing how creative one can be for other items as well. I love this banner set, and think it will be a great addition to the die stash! I can only imagine how difficult it has been to use all the new products but not to be able to say anything or show anyone what you have been working on! But we are all the lucky ones, because now you can! Great project!
Fabulous gift box, Becca! Great for giving something to the guys.
Becca,
This is absolutely elegant. Definitely on the top of my list of favorites!!! I am a huge fan of black & white first off, and adore anything in the french theme. So this is totally one of my favorite projects!!!!! This project would definitely fit into my home decor, so I am definitely going to have to steal your design. Hope you don’t mind. But, it looks as if it won’t be for a while yet. Has anyone said when they will actually be available for purchase?
Marcie
Becca how very clever of you, I think this is just the best lot of Spellbinders that have been put out. Love the project but notice that there is no tutorial for it. would love to see one.
Hugs Trish.
