A Heartmade Gift from a Friend

Isn’t this the cutest ever?  Today I attended a party with all my stamping buddies and we normally exchange handmade gifts.  Our friend Beth stunned us all by presenting each of us with this little work of art!  What talent!!!

Unbelievably Santa is made from a light bulb…yep!   That crafty woman painted at least 12 of these.  That’s not all though.   The little round box that Santa is in was from the $1 bin at Michael’s but was too plain for her taste.  She transformed it into a santa box….sigh…you should see it in real life!

I just had to share. . .

Thanks Becca for helping me figure out what do do with all those burned out bulbs I couldn’t stand to toss into the landfill.

I knew there had to be the perfect idea out there. Hmmm…Maybe decoupage stamp images too??? Maybe texturing compound to create a fat and bulbous Frosty the snowman with lots of swirls???

I can’t wait to CASE this one. Thanks for sharing and tell Beth she is a wonder. Bright and shining ornament gives light and life to dead bulbs…WoW! – Un bonne idée!
