I love circles and the new Wednesday Sketch challenge (SC190) has a circle smack dab in the middle!! Well, I got busy playing around to see what I could come up with. Yesterday I played around with gold foil and velvet so today I turned my attention to silver! Here is the sketch.
It’s difficult photographing the foil paper so have a peek at the picture below, it’s taken laying flat and the colors are truer. Okay, now on to the card…basically I cut a circle with my nesties then stamped the circle with Stazon and embossed with the Leafy Branch Cuttlebug Embossing folder. I added layers, pearls, ribbon and an embossed element to balance the card. The final touch was to hang a little cross from a jewelry spacer element I dug out of my beading supplies – it is attached with a silver brad! How easy was that! This card uses a sentiment from the newly released Angel set from Our Daily Bread Designs. I am loving the versatility of all the new sets and the verse choices were excellent; they will get a lot of mileage in my stash.
Supplies:
Stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs
Paper: Marcella K Design Paper, Fabriano Acquarello Watercolor Paper, Silver Foil Paper
Ink: Stazon Black, Versamark
Accessories: Cuttlebug Leafy Branch Embossing Folder, Nestabilities, White Embossing Powder, Half Pearls, Spacer, Brad, Cross
Alright, back to stamping for me…thanks for stopping by!

Awesome card. Where did you find the foil paper?
Dear Becca, I am always amazed at your creativity. What a wonderful scripture to start the day with. Your work is exquisite.
Good evening, Becca. Your choice of colours is beautiful. I love working with foil card – we call it Mirri card” over here and I have it in many colours. The gold and silver are particularly stunning as is shown in your card and they emboss particularly well with the cuttlebug. I love your choice of scripture too. All in all a very beautiful, meaningful and elegant card. Thank you for sharing.
This is so elegant and very beautiful with the embossed foil. Your designs are truly inspiring.
