Hiya friends! Hopefully the second time will be a charm in getting a winner for the Clear Case Blog Candy. Stay tuned to the end of my post. In the meantime a cheery ‘Hello Friend’ card using all older dies except this precious new window, Spellbinders Shuttered Window. It’s my favorite kind of card because I can take a new die and mesh it with the classic Spellbinders core shapes you already have in your stash :-) Did I mention I love windows? I guess you know by now even though I use a lot of large sentiments, I have a thing for tiny tags. Quick tip: Create a card using all the sweet stuff you pile on the front – great dies, flowers, cute buttons – then when you need a card simply put a one, two or three word sentiment on with a little tag – you’ll never be caught empty handed!
Here’s how I made it – step by step:
Start with a card base using Spellbinders Enchanted Labels Twenty Eight and simply cut off the bottom to give it a different look – you can see my tutorial on How To Make Hinged Card Bases. Next layer up add Spellbinders Labels Twenty Eight and cut the bottom off using Spellbinders A2 Bracket Border One – adhere using double foam tape. Cut design paper with Spellbinders Labels Twenty Eight then cut off top and bottom using clean edge bracket piece from A2 Bracket Border One set – adhere using foam tape. Next layer up add Spellbinders Window Four (I covered the back of my window so my design paper would not show through), adhere using foam tape. Next layer up add Spellbinders Shuttered Window. Add bow, flowers, button, pearls and hang sentiment tag from bow using Spellbinders Back to Basics Tags.
Also, ever wonder how I send my cards? This was a question that made it into the Question Parking Lot on my last post. I decided to answer the question by posting pictures to show you how in the Question Parking Lot – here’s a link to get back to that post — Butterfly Card – How to Mail without Crushing :-)

The card is one of pretty ones presented. Love the pastel color with great 3-d detail. Thanks for the opportunity to look through the window and dream
I was looking and looking for a link to your Question Parking Lot and couldn’t find any. I have to assume you ask the question here!
When you say to use the double sided foam tape to raise the layer. Do you just use small pieces of foam tape or do you run a line of the foam all the way around the layer? I know this might seem a stupid question but was just wondering.
Hi Becca, This is a truly pretty card, lovely detail, gorgeous colours and the window is ‘dreamy’.
Congratulations to the Winner !!
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Hey Becca – I love all of your cards!!! While I have been involved with other crafts from age 6 (51 now) I am new to card making. I am a pastor’s wife and often have opportunities to encourage someone via cards so I am so excited about getting into this. Your cards are a great example for me because they are not only beautiful but they are uplifting and encouraging. Thank you for all you do to bring us these examples and to teach us the associated techniques. You are an “amazing” lady.
I have one question for you. I have seen in some of your posts that the Becca Bow was made available for sale. I admit that I am a TERRIBLE bow maker and would love to purchase one. However, I can no longer find them for sale anywhere. Are there any that I can still purchase either through a retailer or you directly?
Gorgeous use of all those dies, Beautiful!
Thank you for the response re mailing the butterfly card. Never thought of using a mailer. I must use your idea of using a small tag. Perfect when you have a stash of cards which I don’t but it is my dream.
Becca,
Words just fail me…your creations are always so amazing. Gorgeous, stunning, amazing, elegant, wow. You are one amazingly talented “child of God.” Thank you for sharing your gift with us all.
Beautiful card Becca but I have a question about a previous card on 27th april, the spellbinders lattice motifs. How do you get the white to show through the pink lattice.
Yes! Please answer Barbara Phillips question because I was wondering the same thing. It appears that the white is actually poking through the holes of the lattice. Are they?
I don’t know how you do it Becca, but you always seem to come up with something new and wonderful. I would never have dreamed about putting these dies together but they work fabulously well. Fantastic card.
Hugs Alice xx
Morning Becca what a beautiful card I love the soft cours you have used. And the dies are stunning. Take care xx

Good morning Becca,
What another beautiful card that you have made for our delight today. I love the soft colours that you use and the feminine touch that you mostly give your cards. Very pretty, thank you
