Holly Berry House Poinsettia Box

I guess you could say that I’m on a box kick!  My sweet friend Michelle Rodgers with Stamper’s Dream sent the the supplies to make up this fun Poinsettia II Victorian Treasure Box.   It’s one of the many gorgeous samplings Stampers Dream has with Holly Berry House.  The box is made up of one stamp that is stamped 4, 5 or 6 times then glued together on the side tabs; I stamped mine 5 times.  There is no need for a top or bottom because the flaps take care of that too.  Can you say easy?  The poinsettia is a separate stamp called  Persnickety Poinsettia Medallion Medium that is stamped out 5 times then cut out.  Each time you cut it out there are certain leaves that you lop off.  The stamp comes with a one page guide – you know for those of us who are visual *wink".

See, looking down on the poinsettia you can see the largest version on the bottom then on each layer moving up to the top it gets smaller.  Just one stamp!!

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Stampers Dream –
Holly Berry House Poinsettia II Victorian Treasure Box, Holly Berry House Persnickety Poinsettia Medallion Medium
Paper:  Bazzill, 140 lb Strathmore Watercolor Paper
Ink:  Versamark and gold embossing powder
Accessories:  Tombow Markers

I’m also sharing another card using the Our Daily Bread Designs releases for July.  The sentiment is from the Let Us Begin set.  I love how the different Spellbinders elements stack up.  I was trying out this new release of Spellbinders Labels 9 and noticed that it was nice to slip both Spellbinders In Spades Pendant and Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Pendant behind it, just to give it a little interest.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Our Daily Bread Designs – Let us Begin
Paper:  GCD Cloisonne, Bazzill, The Paper Company
Ink:  Onyx Black Versafine, Orchid Pastel Colorbox Chalk Ink
Accessories:  Spellbinders In Spades Pendant, Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Pendant, Spellbinders Labels 9, Pearls, Ribbon

That’s all for me today!  I’m trying to get all my chores done so that I can go to CHA.  Are you going?
