Hi there!! Well, I’m ready for the graduates! When I sat down to play I wanted a gatefold kind of card to put in my bag of tricks for when I need graduates card quickly. These are simple – they are made with a 12" x 6" piece of paper that is scored at 2", 4", 8" and 10" for the gatefold. Just to keep things simple I used double sided paper. Both of these are made with the For the Graduate set from Our Daily Bread Designs.
The first one is intended for a female and the second one is more on the masculine side but could be given to a female also :-) I covered my bases.
I put a pocket on the inside to hold a little bit of cash. This could easily be modified to hold a gift card instead.
Since all the paper is double sided, it doesn’t look bad from behind either.
The size on both is 4 1/2" wide by 5 1/2" tall.

Brilliant!! It’s 2 treasures in one!
Both of these cards are beautiful Becca. Very creative in styling too. Beautifully embellished and I love both DP’s. K & CO. always makes the prettiest DP don’t they. As always Becca. TFS!!! :-D
Beautiful cards, love that paper used. Gatefold, even the single flap style would be a great way to use and to show off double sided paper! I always hate to cover up the other side when used on regular cards. Thanks for the great ideas Becca! I’ll have to try this soon, I need to make some quick cards and I’m liking this idea alot! : )
Ohhhhhh, Becca, those cards are beautiful. The paper is exquisite. And, that is an excellent idea for the money/gift card. I love gatefold cards.

I love these cards! They are both beautiful.
OH BECCA, this or just fantastic and you have given me some great ideas. Off to play. LOL
Very, very pretty. I like the little change to make one feminine and the masculine. I just finished putting together my graduation cards for ths year but I like the idea of the money holder. Our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren receive cash/checks from us for their special occasions so that pocket idea will come in handy. Thanks for another neat idea.

Becca, I forgot to ask about the edge punch used on the masculine card. It’s a neat way to have the ends of the borders. Just curious.
