I needed to make a card for a friend that is under the weather. This went into her goodie box this morning. I love it when I’m sending a box – it’s license to make a super, duper double decker huge layered up card – because it doesn’t have to fit it into an envelope. This is a quick and easy card using mostly stuff that has been out on my table this week.
Thanks for stopping by…I’ll be back with another card in the afternoon.
Supplies:
Stamps: My Sentiments Exactly – Sentiment
Paper: Fabriano Acquarello, The Paper Company – Pomegranate, Amber
Ink: SU Rose Red
Accessories: Cuttlebug, Sizzix – Wavy Frame, Nestabilities, Ribbon, Prima Flowers, Pearls, Metal Rimmed Tag
Your lucky friend ! How can one not be cheered with a goodie box with this in it ? lol ! beautiful card , Becca !
Beautiful card as always! I think I always say that, but I can’t help it, I love your cards.
What die did you use on the embossing in the frame insert? I have totally loved your site. I went back yesterday and read all of your entries from the beginning. Since SU! is now going to be selling the Big Shot, I made reference to your organizational idea from the June 10th entry on Splitcoast. I hope you don’t mind.
what a lucky friend i love the embossing and would also like to know where the hearts came from. tfs

Becca – that’s sure to have your friend up and running in no time!
I am the same way ~ I like to made cards bulky when I’m not mailing in an envie too!

Becca, this is SO beautiful! I love the textures, colors, and especially those tiny pearls in the scallops at the top. Great details!
I love how you emboss your whites with different textures and then layer them. The effect is always stunning. Thanks for sharing!
Happy to receive your updates via FeedBlitz, Becca! Your cards are fantastic! Haven’t read where you are a photographer, but I think you must be since your cards are presented so professionally! Well lit, easy to see the details. Enjoy your talent. Thanks for sharing! va
Becca,
A friend of mine showed me about your site recently. He is an avid card maker, I am a newbie. I am so inspired by your work! The layers, textures and colors just blow my mind. I love visiting and seeing new ideas.
