If the Shoe Fits

Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using JustRite Papercrafts Vintage Shoes Labels Six and Spellbinders
Hi there friends, today I’m sharing some vintage goodness!  This month JustRite Papercraft released a darling set of vintage shoes that make such a nice focal point on a card.  I created my card by using Spellbinders Labels Ten #4, Spellbinders Window Two,  Spellbinders A2 Scalloped Borders One.  I manually cut the shoe because I wanted it to be popped up.  The bouquet of flowers that comes in the stamp set can be stamped alone and is also sized to fit into the shoe, so I cut that out as well and colored with copics.  Quick and simple, that’s it for me today.

Here’s your Step By Step Recap of die cuts and layers, from the bottom up:  Start out with a Card Base 6″ x 6″, foam tape, brown matting panel cut to 5-5/8″ x 5-5/8″, layer from design paper cut to 5-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, foam tape, strip cut to 3-1/8″ x 5-1/2″ from brown mat layer and design paper layer cut to 3″ x 5-1/2″ bordered with die cut strips from A2 Scalloped Borders One, die cut layer using Labels 10 bordered by top part of Windows Two.  Foam tape to apply manually cut motif from shoe and flowers.    As always, cut everything first then stack.  Position ribbon, pearls bow on correct layer, admire, then glue!

Hey Ann R, I think we are going to the Gaylord, too, for the ICE show this week! We’ve got friends in from Germany with their 3-year old, and it’s cheaper than Disney…ReplyCancel
