What a glorious morning dear Blog Friends!! Wanna make a card in 30 minutes or less? Eeek, every time I manage a feat like that I feel like I have to talk about it. After all, it is much like the solar eclipse that’s going to happen on Sunday – RARE!!! So yes, it’s true!! This is the simplest card I’ve made in many moons. I knew that I wanted to use Spellbinders™ Damask Motifs to make a flower, then I realized that half a circle would make a sweet bouquet! Earlier I spied a brand new set of sentiments from JustRite Papercrafts and thought how lucky I was to finally have “Save the Date” from the new Summer Words set. Voila, a simple and easily replicated dressy card that themes into “Save the Date”. White on white, chock full of pearls and full of lace – who wouldn’t save the date??? To finish off the card I stamped the sentiment on Spellbinders™ Picot Edged Circles, ran pearl cotton through the holes and tied it to my bow. Yes, and really, really, really, within a half an hour :-)
SUPPLIES I USED |
Stamps: JustRite Papercrafts – Summer Words Paper: Xpedx Brilliant White 120lb cover (card base), Strathmore linen (flower) Ink: Versafine Onyx Black Accessories: Spellbinders™ Damask Motifs, Spellbinders™ Picot Edged Circles, Zva Creative Pearls, Recollections Pearls, Spare Parts Pearl Brad, Lace, Satin Ribbon |
Hugs to you all, can I mess with your mind? I dare you to venture a guess how many glue dots I used for the bouquet (wink)! Thanks for stopping by, see you soon!!
This looks like a bride’s card also. It is very pretty and oh so feminine. I would venture to say you probably used about 12 glue dots. Love your style.
Beautiful card!!! Glue dots…… enough to hold it together lol….
Becca!
This is a stunning card and I can hardly wait to try it. You are amazing and you can do it in 30 minutes I probably can do it it 3 hours and 30 minutes???? I think you used about 16 glue dots!

I dont think I have seen anything more beautiful!!
This card is out of this world! To start, I love white on white and what you have done with it, takes my breath away. Glue dots? Not a clue – but let me guess anyway – 24.
How could such gorgeousness be created in only 30 minutes!! Of course, it could only be done by your amazing hands! I will go with 5 glue dots.
Beautiful card Becca
I would say 12 no more than 15.
What a Gorgeous card. It’s really breath taking.
Knowing about how many I would probably have to use, I would have to say that you used right around 26-28 glue dots
ColleenB.
Even your 30 minute cards are amazing. Love this card it looks like a little package, all tied up and stunning. The monochromatic color is gorgeous. Beautiful work. As always Becca, TFS!!! :-D
Stunning card! I would guess 24 glue dots!
Jaw dropping beautiful!! I am not even going to try to think how long it would take me! Glue dots?? Probably around 17 or 18.
Have a great day and thanks for sharing your wonderful creations with the world!
wow Becca, this is stunning. Love white on white.
This is so pretty! You never cease to amaze me with your cards.
Absolutely beautiful!
I’m gonna guess that you used 18 glue dots on the bouquet.
Your 30-minute card would probably be a 2-hour card for me! LOL!!! I’m a slow-poke!
Becca … I love visiting your Blog, your cards and projects are always amazing. But I think this just might be my favorite of them all. Simply STUNNING! Thank you for sharing your incredible talent with us!
Hugz,
Carol
OMG. Absolutely beautiful! I can’t wait to try this one. Thank you for your never ending creativity.
GORGEOUUUUUUSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This would make a WONDERFUL Christmas or even Wedding card!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!! :)
Guess on the glue dots: 75 !!!!!!!!! :)
Since I KNOW you don’t like snakes Becca! Here’s what happened to us yesterday! Between 2:30-3 p.m., I was watching my TV show “Wind At My Back.” Our daughter jumped up & ran down the hall calling, “Daddy!” I asked, “What???” & got up moving toward her still asking, “What?” I thought it was a spider! There was a SNAKE on our mantel!!!!!!!!! It was about a yard stick long! My husband thought it was a Copper Head at that time. Once he got it killed & outside he came back in & there was ANOTHER ONE coming out of the fireplace!!!!!!!!!!! :0 That one got away! It was just as big as the other one! So, my husband pulled the mantal off the wall, after we removed everything on the mantel. AND he pulled out the innards of the fireplace (gas), disconnecting…(we’d planned on that anyway.) And he sealed up EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!! I had forgotten just how I feel about snakes! Remembering, when we’d go to the zoo, I DIDN’T want to go into the Reptile building AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My husband now believes it was a Rat Snake! IIIIIIIIIIIICKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is absolutely gorgeous!!!! I love all white cards. Would make a lovely wedding card that I just happen to need.
It’s beautiful Becca! I agree with Anne in the first comment, this would be the most gorgeous wedding card!
Beautiful…and just in time for an event I need to make a card for! I’m guessing between twelve and sixteen depending on how many were used on the folds??????? Who cares, it’s so pretty!
What a beautiful card, and what a fun question! Hmmm, I’m thinking 2 dots per edge to hold the individual motifs together, then a dot on the underside of each motif to adhere to the card… That’s about 13 dots?
Of course, you may be asking because the motifs hold really well with little adhesive and you used a record low number of dots! Say, 4?
Beautiful use of Damask Motifs!! Such a romantic card!
Praying a shower of blessings over you today, Becca.
Simply beautiful. Thank you.
OMGosh!!! I love, love, love this card, it’s beautiful!! Your flower lace ribbon is to die for, where did you get it? Oh to get a Becca made card would be like the thrill of Christmas morning!!!
Thank you so much for always sharing such art work, inspiring us and having such a heart of Gold!!!!
P.S. I was putting together a basket of fancy napkins and needed a bow, rummaging through my scraps I came across some tulleing, so I used it on the Becca Bow Maker, I fell in love, what a beautiful bow it made!!!
If you don’t have your Becca Bow Maker, you are missing out on one of the best tools in your craft room!
I’m guessing 14 glue dots! Beautiful as always, love monotone, tone on tone projects.
This card is JUST beautiful!!!. You could have used other glues to so I think I will guess 14???
Oh Becca this is GORGEOUS! I just love EVERYTHING you do but sometimes one really jumps out at me and this is ONE of those times! FABULOUS and SO CLASSY! (just like you my friend!)
Have a wonderful weekend!
Blessings
Darlene
Absolutely beautiful!!!! I would say 13 dots. One each to fasten each motif to the card and two each side to hold the motifs together. But who cares anyway? It is simply gorgeous.
Beautiful, looks like a lot more than 30 minutes

I got so caught up in reading the story about the snakes, I almost forgot why I was here this morning! Looking for beautiful cards… that’s it. FOUND ONE! And who wouldn’t know it would be Becca’s? 30 minutes? I’m so tempted to say “Now, you are just showing off!” But, why not? If you’ve got it… flaunt it! And you, lucky girl, have got it! Simply… gorgeous… We are so lucky to have you for our teacher and our inspiration. God bless you!
Great Card. I love the white on white. I would say you used 13 or 14 glue dots
Vicky
This is fun, guessing glue dots on your card. Actually these little tricks help us learn how to put these projects together so thank you for that! This card is awesome and can be adapted to any occasion. How we need those quick cards instantly some times. So, I would guess the glue dots at about 36 not including attaching the bow. That probably would be attached by some glue, score tape, or Guber dots. Though the loops may have one dot each on them bringing the total to 40 to 42. A little ambiguous answer! Thanks for sharing this with all of us.
What a beautiful card Becca! I am going to guess at 9 glue dots, since you say it only took you 30 mins to make.
Lynn Wild
OOoooh! That is sooo beautiful! What a fabulous way to use that motif die. You are so creative. That brain of yours is just amazing!

Hugs, antonella :-)
Prettiest 30 minute card I have ever seen. I think you used 8 glue dots on the bouquet. I love the card, it screams wedding and looks like it took hours to create. Don’t you love it when a plan comes together!

Francine

For the glue dots, I’m guessing in the neighborhood of 26.
i’m guessing 8 glue dots maybe 9. gorgeous card. i’m sure i can take longer than 30 min. for this. it takes me longer than that just to get my stuff ready. ok so i have a little clutterr to work around. i’m sure none of my fellow crafts know what i’m talking about. :)
Absolutely breathe taking. I am going to guess you used about 35 – 40 glue dots

Ok, now that you’ve raised the bar even higher than it was….what an absolutely stunning card! If you attached the loops of the die at the middles of each other and bottoms, I’m guessing only about 9 glue dots?

I’m going to guess that you used 14 glue dots on this absolutely stunning, marvelous, beautiful beyond description card!!
Your card is amazing, just like you are. You do influence me to try to do better on my cards and gift wrapping.
Was invited to a bridal shower and the invitation was in black and white. I bought black and white paper and and white ribbon with black dots, so far so good. I kind of patted myself on the back because my package looked really good, in my opinion (a 6 qt. programable crock pot from the bride’s wish list). Picked up the package as I was ready to go out the door and every ribbon fell off the package along with a bow Becca would be proud of. I wasn’t late to the shower. Now to answser your question, how many glue dots, I used 22 for my package do-over.
Maybe for your card 18. God bless and have a great day!
You are amazing…….as is your talent……..43 glue dots…..hahaha
