I’m so grateful to be easing my way back! I made it through surgery with a couple of hiccups but if anything they were precious reminders that life is not to be taken for granted and that through the course of our lives – everything is a choice. I’ve felt well enough to get back at the computer perhaps as early as a week ago but have spent a lot of time thinking and planning how to savor the things I love to do, how to make time for the family and people who have time for me, how to treat and expect to be treated with worth and finally, how to take better care of myself. The doctor and I had a heart to heart talk about stress and how it affects your health. I believe him, no arm twisting here! Thankfully and gratefully, writing and posting my crafty endeavors here on my blog is one of the things I truly savor – it is a stress reliever. You sweet readers have always been engaging, delightfully enthusiastic and always full of well wishes. Thanks for waiting so patiently as I get back to normal. Thanks so much for checking on me and the wonderful emails! Thanks so much for being you!!

We´ll all be here waiting for you, when you feel up to it. I know too well, how it´s like to go on too soon and believe you, you don´t want to do that for sure, so better take a few more weeks now hun okay?

Wonderful to know that you are resting and healing and taking time to re-evaluate what is most important. I pray your recovery will be complete, and that your holiday will be richly blessed.
I”m so glad you are doing ok. Take care and we missed you!!
Glad your doctor had a hear=to=heart on stress. It is indeed a serious factor in the health we enjoy or don’t enjoy! Glad all is going well – great time to reflect on life, on friends, on all aspects of your life. Your faith is such an inspiration and I know it is the fiber that binds life together for you and yours. Loved seeing your full photo in the tribute to Randi this week. What an inspiration she has been to so many, and has at last found the lasting peace she so deserves. Keep mending and keep well.
After not seeing anything new on your blog my mind raced around wondering what was up…well here it is. Surgery. Another learning time in the recuperating process. Though we don’t like physical problems there is something to be said about them being our teachers. God is faithful to educate us on every note, and at such times after surgery when we are still and quiet, we hear better. Strange but true. So, I do ask God to help you heal and to bless you with greater knowledge of Him and to see His great love for you.
So glad you are on the mend jst take it easy .Melanie
With all these best wishes Becca, how could you fail to get better. You are loved by so many people, you are a beautiful person with a loving heart. Take care my friend and I wish you a happy Christmas and a Healthy New Year from across the pond.
LOL Eileen

Becca, I hope your feeling better…. About four weeks ago I had to put my horse down… Only had him for about 9 months… Beautiful guy, Pinto! Had this amazing personality that all the kids in the barn just loved… But I knew in my spirit I had to let him go, tried everything! The day before we were going to do this we were attacked terribly by people in the barn and in three towns in my area….Words are so hurtful and you can’t take them back… I said all of this to say how stress affected me so much through it all… I had first to give it to God and try to relieve my stress some how, cuz I know longer could ride my 17 hands NSH… I’m standing in Faith because of so many changes in my life.. being 56, and my hubby 67….I just wanted to say how much I admire you and your words… Your strong Faith in our Savior.. I pray that your have a Wonderful Christmas and wish that we you could just by for a cup of coffee and cookies!!!! LOVE AND HUGS. forgive my spelling..
