I have the same question as Gigi, as I would love to try to attempt to make a similar card … Did you sponge the ink across the tree or add it inside the folder? Could you share which color ink you used for the tree? The combination you used is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!! (Also, could you share where the red crystals are from?) JudyReplyCancel

    Hi Becca,

This is beautiful! I am curious as several of the other responders how you got the lovely color for the tree. Will you please share that information. I would also like to know what color was the paper when you started. When I think of Kraft it looks much darker. And you can add ink in the embossing folder??

    Thanks for sharing your talents!

Becca are you a mind reader? I made this the centerpiece of my Christmas card this year only I did it on vellum and reverse colored it….I love those red sparkles…where did you get them…they look triangular. That is a really cute border punch…I’ll have to look for it. Have a blessed and Happy Thanksgiving!ReplyCancel

Everyday I can’t wait to check your blog for some of the most gorgeous cards I’ve ever seen. Keep up the great work. I have a question on the coloring of the Cuttlebug lace tree. What do you use to give it color. I’ve tried swiping my pad gently over the image, but it never turns out the way I’d like. What’s your secret?

Thanks and have a blessed weekend.

Hi Becca, just found your blog and already I have had inspirations! I want to make something like your Cuttlebug lace tree for Christmas. I count 24 rhinestones used. Can you tell me the size? They look like 2 different sizes or is this just an optical illusion? Love it and also the Flourishes Reindeer as well as Poinsettia and Boxwood. I have already bought the stamps! Guess I have enough ideas now to last me the rest of my life? :)) So can you please just tell me about the rhinestones. I’ll use them for card for very special people and use Stickles Red for everyone else. He he….think that will work. Thank you so much for all the inspiration I am finding here! This will be my 3rd year of making my own Christmas cards. Now just looking for Valentine, Birthday, Halloween and Thanksgiving inspirations!ReplyCancel
