Lacey Tiers Die Cut as a Base to Showcase a Flower

Card Making Ideas from Amazing Paper Grace using Justrite Papercrafts – JustRite Lacey Tiers and Large Elegant Sentiments, Spellbinders Captivating Squares and Spellbinders Back to Basic Tags
Greetings blog friends, I’m peeking in with a card and a quick post for my card making idea today.  Changing up a little bit from my run on pink, I knew I wanted to showcase this gorgeous Prima Flower, so I dove in with a bit of purple.  It’s centered on a background made from JustRite Lacey Tiers Die Cut Template which I designed and the filigree corners on the edges are the smallest die from Spellbinders Captivating Squares.  I don’t have precise measurements to share today but the square 6″ x 6″ format makes it a fairly easy card to make.  The Lacey Tiers Template round motif cut alone actually doesn’t cut a circle, it cuts out the center filigree pieces.  The circle is cut when you include the outer square motif.  For this card I cut the round motif into a square and topped it with the outer motif.  This gave me a great layer to raise for a lot of depth from all the cutouts in the motif.

A multi-loop bow with a centered button and a tag from Spellbinders Back to Basic Tags makes way for a sentiment that doesn’t cover the beauty of the awesome flower and intricate die.   I reached for JustRite Large Elegant Sentiments; Get Well is a sentiment I don’t use nearly as much as I should.

I’m already enjoying the glorious turn from summer to the next season.  I won’t say fall yet, but I love this shoulder before the chill starts to blanket  the evening.  I keep finding myself outside just mesmerized by the difference in the light and the fresh air.  It rained almost every day this summer so this is a wonderful reprieve.  Even though I’ve not been here this week, I’ve been a busy girl.  In fact, I have some rather cool news to share on my post tomorrow so I hope you’ll peek in to see what I’m up to :-)

I love your cards and have tried many of the techniques you have shown on video. Recently I was looking back through your achieves and found a card I loved with a darling stamp “Lessons from the Easter Bunny”. Do you know where I could get this stamp; I have tried a number of websites, but have not found it yet. My favorite card that I have tried was the interlocking trifold square card. Thanks so much for your energy and skills. DonnaReplyCancel
