Little Girls

 WRBF-3666-2012
Hello there blog friends!! I hope you had a fabulous weekend. I have another card to share today – it’s been eons since I posted a birthday card and this one will be stashed away for a sweet little friend. The inspiration was this sweet silhouette stamp of little girls from
Our Daily Bread Designs – it is called Little Girls. I started out with a card base and added a matted panel; the bottom of the panel is shaped by one of the fabulous new border dies – Spellbinders™ A2 Scalloped Border One. Then I added a panel from Spellbinders™ Decorative Labels Twenty Seven and layered Spellbinders™ Marvelous Squares on top. To balance off the right side of the card I added a corner piece from Spellbinders™ Asian Accents. Labels Twenty Seven has some slits on two sides which makes it sooo nice to thread ribbon through without obscuring the edges, so I added a poufy bow and finished off with a couple of pearls.

Still traveling so I’m limited on cardstock colors :-)  Cream is my go to color – thank goodness I brought some along!

I think this is my newest favourite Becca card. I am a sap for gingham checks and love blue/white. Gosh, it is just as pretty as can be. As as aside, because of your card, I’ve just ordered the scalloped border through my local store, Bonnidée. I just had to have it after seeing your card. Thanks so much for sharing. You have no idea how much it is appreciated.ReplyCancel
