Musical Notes and Labels Twenty

I’m always looking for something different to contain gift trinkets and I love for the container to be a part of the gift.  This Musical Notes set inspired me to make a box that I’ll be giving as a gift to a friend.  I’ve loaded it up with my favorite Bazzill Buttons.   The lid of the box is made with several layers of Spellbinders Labels Twenty.  In order to shape the body of the box I cut Spellbinders Classic Ovals LG to hold the body to a consistent oval shape.  I did the same thing with the upper part of the lid.  Just to give it a little bit of flair, I edged the lid with Spellbinders Classic Bracket Edgeabilties.

Paper: Graphic 45 – Botanicabella, Bazzill, Neenah Classic Crest Cream
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, Memento Tuxedo Black, Colorbox Burnt Umber Chalk Ink, Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink, Vintage Photo Distress Ink
Accessories: Spellbinders Classic Ovals LG, Spellbinders Labels Twenty, Spellbinders Classic Bracket Edgeabilities, Copic Markers, Recollections Pearls, ScorTape

    Becca, this is stunning! I love the warm colors. You are SO creative with the things you make, I LOVE IT! I’ve had my eye on this labels set…

    On a funny note, remember the bargain alert at Tuesday Morning for the Bind-It-All? Well, I RAN out and bought it, LOL! Do you think I’ve even opened the box? Actually, I opened the box, peeked in and closed it right up again! Here it sits on the floor staring at me! I know I really want to use it, just not sure when! Too funny!
