Back to share another quick card. This is the kind that gives me pure satisfaction because I used old stuff in my stash ;-) But psst . . . don’t tell anyone, I kind of feel like I’m cheating because it was so easy. Honest!! I put 10 minutes into this. Okay, I put 11 minutes into it because I couldn’t find that darned embossing powder ;-)
Seriously though, I can’t ever seem to make a quick card. I think I’ve settled onto a personal template that I can use in the future! Here’s the inspiration. Rummaging through the clearance bin at Hobby Lobby I came upon some Wedding Invitation/Program kind of things. Since it was laser cut and distressed, I knew it had to come home with me – in hindsight I wish I would have picked up more than one package. They have languished about the craft room for probably about a year. I saw them today and thought how easy and pretty it would be to simply fold the frame in half and drape it across my card. It sure showcases the paper. In these, the middle comes out so it left me ample room to put my sentiment. That’s seriously all there is to this card. The sentiment is from The Lord Has Risen Set with Our Daily Bread Designs and I cut it from Spellbinders™ Labels Four!!
Here is a picture of the back. See, I told you . . . quick!!
I know these are discontinued but I will sure be on the look out for more frame type invitations for my personal quick card template. These are the ones I found just to give you an idea.

Blessings!! See you soon!!
don’t you just love it when a card is so pretty and so quick?! Lovely!
I am always so proud of myself when I use stash supplies… and when I can find what I’m looking for!!!!
Beautiful–I have never made a card in 10 minutes and if I did it wouldn’t look as pretty as yours!!
Another beauty, Becca … cheater or not!
Because of you, I have found myself wandering through all the aisles of Michaels, finding goodies that are intended for things totally different than cards – and I feel so smug! Beautiful, Becca!
Beautiful!…and clever:)
What an awesome way to create something so beautiful…..great job…
It will make me look at things in a different way for sure….
Love it!!
Super cute…..thanks, Becca!
Oh Becca; this is absolutely beautiful. I don’t even consider it a cheater card, because you still made it. I’ll be on the look out for laser or other type frames as well now that I’ve seen what you did with yours. Love it!
How awesome is that!! I love when you find things and share it with us. Because this is gorgeous, looks like you put hours into it :)
beautiful cards Becca, and thank you for sharing that great frame idea.
I to shall be wander the halls of “michaels’ looking for these good ideas.
thanks so much for sharing.
I love to re-find things I had bought and never used. Sometimes I lose them and it drives me crazy until I find them. I am currently looking for some stickers I know I have but have looked since January and who knows where I stashed them. They are here somewhere! I love your card. So soft and springy
This is really pretty, Becca. Nothing “cheating” about it! Wow, will I be on the lookout for laser cut frames. I thought you’d found some marvelous new punch and was really, really hoping you’d say what it was and where you got it!

Thanks Becca for sharing this”quick card”.I just came home from a day of stamping and Card making with friends!Planned was to make 20 cars with different themes. Mmmh..I came home with 4 and I love them very much..I even did some stiching on them.
But once in a while I need “quick and easy”!!!
Becca, I too, have found similar finds in the clearance bin. It is a place that I go to often and am not disappointed.
Becca, this is such a beautiful card and what a terrific idea in using the frame-type wedding invitation material. I will definitely be on the lookout for this type of product when stocking up again.
Thanks. Happy Easter to you and your family!
I LOVE everything about this card – the ribbon, color cardstock, frame, and most of all, the quote. Beautiful!
Becca you always use the prettiest dp. What collection of K & Co is this from. It’s just gorgeous. Girl as many cards as you make I think you can take some short cuts now and then. Still a gorgeous card.
Hugs,
Pam
So very pretty, Becca! I love the laser cut ‘frame’…and what a WONDERFUL Scripture to showcase!!!
Blessings to you ~ Lori
Gorgeous Becca! And so clever :o)
Hugs, Candy
ooh, that was a good find!
An 11 minute card, I take longer than that with the sketch rambling in my brain. LOL!!! This is really pretty Becca. That was a good find in the craft store. You never know where the inspiration will be found. As always TFS!!! Becca. :-D
Becca,
WOW, totally awesome card..and hey that is anything but cheating in my book! That is being savvy to pick up those beautiful laser cut invitation sheets when you saw them on clearance and even more savvy putting them to great use in this card.
Way to go! As always your a total inspiration!
Love it!
Your card is amazing! I usually love the way you think but not when you call this a cheater card… :o) Silly girl! You have been thinking about it a whole year! :D And it was worth the wait. Now I wonder what I might have in my stash that I could do this with?
Thanks for sharing. Can’t wait to see the next one!
Stunning especially for an 11 min card.
That is simply beautiful. My son and DIL gave me their leftover invitations but they were handmade paper with bits of dried flowers in it. Beautiful and different from your find. Thanks for sharing with us!
I love it and wish my quick cards looked as good!
Beautiful 11 minute card!! That is gorgeous dp and the lacy panel sets if off nicely. Great find and tfs.
So pretty! I love to make a card that doesn’t require a lot of time, especially when I have little time.
Ter ;)

Becca,

Very pretty! Thanks to you, I, too, now roam through Michael’s picking up bargain items not intended for cardmaking! :) Now I must start using them instead of hoarding them…
Becca, I seriously think you got to stand in the line in Heaven where they were handing out talents for creativity for an” extra long ” time. I love your work and always smile to see what you’ve come up with each day. Thanks, you’re so sweet to share your crafting talents with all of us! Much love and appreciation to you… Hope your Easter season is one that will bring joy to you and yours.
Man I wish there was a hobby lobby near me, lol! You can find the greatest things there. Beautiful, beautiful project (as yours always are) and it looks like it took you 12 hours to complete.
Gorgeous, Becca!
What a Fabulous idea, gosh, you never know what you will find if you just wonder around a store. It does even have to be in the papercrafting isles, it can be all over the store, open you eyes and that perfect piece may land in your lap! I haven’t found this type of goody but I have found other goodies!
What a beautiful card. I know I have some cut files for my Cricut that are frames but I would never have thought of using them this way, I’ve got to go look! Thanks again for the inspiration, it’s always here each time I visit.
Whew, gorgeous card and I don’t have have to shop for what I thought was for sure a Spellbinder’s die-smile.
This card is just beautiful. I love how you used the other card and modified it to the detail on this card.
This is one reason why I love your blog so much…you always have such great ideas. I love this card!
such a great use for them, and adds a great touch to the card!
beautiful. That is a gorgeous laser design.
What a neat idea….I would never have thought of this….Thank you for being the brains (and talent) of this outfit. I love, love, love the paper…..I never seem to find paper like this. Boo hoo!
It takes me longer than 11 minutes to clean off my stamping desk from my last project just to have enough space to stamp. I like the look of the card. It always fun to find something to take home in the bargain bin! Good thing you could find it. That can be a problem. Love the colors and the whole look of the card.
Thank you for sharing your talent!
Jean
How elegant this card came out love it
What a great idea! I never think to look at the wedding stuff. Now you’ve put me on a mission!*L*
Trish
THANK YOU – I always have my eyes out for a card for my husband’s Deacon Ministry at church. He (therefore Me) has 48 families on his/ our Deacon Family Ministry Plan. We remember our families with cards at Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Birthdays, and am considering adding Wedding Anniversaries. We’re sending out almost 50 cards for each event, so they must be fairly easy. Perhaps I can find a substitute for the lovely wedding “stuff” you found. I’ll definately need to look for some sales!
