Is there anything cozier than blue jean overalls? I don’t think they ever go out of style. This is one of my very favorite stamps by Alesa Baker and distributed by Impression-Obsession. It has never fully seen ink although every time I look at it reminds me of an adorable pair of overalls I used to dress my daughter in when she was a wee one. I stamped this up to participate in a SplitcoastStampers Challenge – Limited Supplies Challenge 151 where we were encourage to make the use of a background stamp instead of DP, one main stamp and sentiment and to use two colors and one neutral. So…..using white as my neutral color, I layered green and blue paper, stamping the blue with a vine stamp also by Alesa Baker, available through Impression-Obsession. Stamped with Black Brilliance, the overalls were cut out and colored with an aquapainter using SU Not Quite Navy while the flowers were colored by Copics. Showcased by a frame cut and embossed by Nestabilities. Supplies: Stamps: Jeans and Vine Stamp – Alesa Baker – Impression-Obsession; Sentiment – My Sentiments Exactly Paper: Colormates Ink: Black Brilliance, SU Not Quite Navy Accessories: Copics, Dew Drops, Walmart Ribbon, Prima Flowers, Nestabilities, Aquapainter
