Hi Friends!! Yesterday I was brainstorming on another project and came up with this. I’m mindful that I’m running out of time to show Christmas things so . . . I was trying to think of something different to do, and this is what came up. I was happy with it and I have to say it looks better in real life. I recently received the Spellbinders Heirloom Ornament because this month Our Daily Bread Designs released a design that fits inside the ornament. The other ladies in the design team produced some stunning creations from A to Z with that die template – it left me scratching my head for what I could do that they hadn’t already done, lol!
Here you can see the entire project. The ornament embellished with crystals, bow and a tag to match!
The tag is cut from Spellbinders Labels Fourteen and embellished with a piece from Spellbinders Renaissance Hearts Pendants and uses a sentiment from one of the new Our Daily Bread Designs sets called Christmas Blessings. Did you check out the non-traditional Christmas colors – I love them although I love traditional Christmas colors too :-)
Card Recipe: Stamps: Our Daily Bread Designs: Christmas Blessings Paper: The Paper Company, CTMH Ink: Teal Accessories: Spellbinders™ Labels Fourteen, Spellbinders™ Heirloom Ornament, Spellbinders™ Renaissance Hearts Pendants, ribbon, crystals, gold cord |
Thanks all for stopping in to see me today! See you soon!!

I love this ornament, it is so stunning. I ordered the die in November and it has not arrived yet. I will probably come right after Christmas (smile). However this is beautiful. It gives me thoughts for other punches and dies that I have. Thanks for sharing.
Praying for you,
Gale
This is so pretty Becca. I snatched this die set up as soon as they came out with it. I just knew that this was going to be a fabulous set for Christmas. Obviously I was not alone, because countless stamp companies have designed around this set. I have also seen tons of ornaments that have been made using it, but none as gorgeous as this one. Leave it to you to think up yet another masterpiece. This really is gorgeous and those chrystals add so much. I am so glad that you are back in the game. I have missed that creative mind of yours. I am just sorry that you had to go thru so much this year. You are definitely a trooper. Happy Holidays Becca.
Marcie
I sincerely don’t know how it can be prettier in person because it sure is outstanding in the picture. Fantastic as per usual and I do like the non-traditional colors once in a while. One of your great tutorials would be appreciated.

Hi there!

I think my favourite things that you have done is the heartcornerpunched circle, the laced woven frame and this ornament. YOU ARE FANTASTIC!!!
My mind was with you in your difficult time and we ALL are lucky that you still have the mojo for crafting so you can inspire us even more.
Bless you and Merry Christmas
from Anna-Karin in Sweden

It reminds me of the tissue paper decorations we had when I was little, only this is much more sophisticated and elegant.

Looks like I’m not the only one who wants a tutorial–even after Christmas. This could be used for so many shapes I’m sure–circles, scallops, etc. So how about it? Please??

Hello Becca,
You never cease to amaze me with your beautiful inspirational paper crafts. This ornament is absolutely gorgeous!!! x
Becca, this is beautiful! I love it. I would love a tutorial on it. Thanks for sharing. Have a good day.
it’s a beauty
I love the fact that you did not use the traditional red and green, although it too would have been beautiful. I adore the colors you selected. You showcased the colors beautifully. Thank you as always.
How beautiful Beeca got to try this one.
Becca this is stunning..I love when you do projects like this as your so talented in doing them..
I am waiting now for your tutorial…it is just beautiful

pat and a Very Blessed Christmas to you and yours.
Hi Becca,
I absolutely LOVE your ornament! I’m staring at it trying to figure out how you did it. I really hope you find time to do a tutorial – that would be soooo awesome!
Take care!
Hugs,
Donna G
What a really pretty ornament! Can’t wait for your tutorial. I was so disappointed that I did not purchase this die set – I thought that I had, but discovered that I never had ordered it. So frustrating, when all along you think you have something and then, you are all set to work with it, just to find out you, in fact, don’t have it! That seems to be the way with all of my Holiday things so far! Been too busy working on a year end tax project that I have lost my creative juices for my Christmas crafts. How sad, because I was really looking forward to making some different things besides cards this year. Oh well, next year, I guess!
I love all the tiny details that you put into your things. The ornamnt is so cool. Merry Christmas
Oh how Beautiful this ornament is! What an inspiration for me. I was looking at our tree last night and saying to myself ‘I need to make some unique ornaments for it next year’. Merry Christmas!
Beautiful, love the colors, the crystals and bow is so pretty with it!
STUNNING
Your ornament is gorgeous! I have a couple of questions- how many cut-out pieces did you use to create the fullness and how did you
get the top and bottom rings on?
Thanks so much so sharing and Merry Christmas,
Cheryl
You’re genius Becca!!!
This is very lovely!!
Thanks for keep sharing your ideas :))
G O R G E O U S !!! Once again a masterpiece. I, like everyone else, can’t wait for a tutorial. I was in our local scrapbook store the other day when the owner came up to me and said: you got to see this! She showed me the post for your favorite ornament and I was blown away. Up to that point I was on the fence about purchasing these dies, but they are now part of my “collection”. Can’t wait to use them!!!
Your ornament is gorgeous! I have a couple of questions- how many cut-out pieces did you use to create the fullness and how did you get the top and bottom rings on? Thanks so much so sharing and Merry Christmas, Cheryl
This is gorgeous! I hope to get this die after Christmas.
Absolutely beautiful!!! I love the untraditional colors! I would love to know how to make this ornament. Merry Christmas!
