Sweet blog friends, I went out of town over the weekend and came home to a hot, hot house – it seems the AC/Heat system in my house was contemplating retirement. On a 90 degree inside Monday morning I set about the task of finding a replacement that I hadn’t anticipated having to do for some time. How good is life? Well it’s good enough that the nicest repairman came out and fixed it for me. I really thought it was done but with luck I may make it to winter when costs will be lower. Well enough of my adventures, so are you curious how many mini glue dots it took to make the bouquet????? The answer is nine, only nine!! If you’ll stick around I’ll show you how!!
It was a no-brainer to make this card in white – that’s the color I’d pick every time but some of you wrote that you could not see it. So for my sample today I’m using a thin text weight paper, similar to a typewriter weight, in kraft for a different look that you can see. Pulling a sentiment out of my Dreams set by Our Daily Bread Designs that says “You Did It”, I stopped myself from stamping inside because I can use this card for a number of occasions now. The bouquet/flower shape is made using Spellbinders™ Damask Motifs. With a band across the card using Spellbinders™ Classic Scallop Edgeabilities and Spellbinders™ Classic Decorative Inserts One, I finished off with a resin flower center, a Peg Bow and a Tim Holtz element on the corner. My quick video will show you how simple it is to pull your own bouquet or flower together!

Thanks for doing the tutorial, Becca. When you show it like that, yes it’s easy and obvious, that of course, this will work! But the finished project looks very complicated and exotic!

Oh these are just beautiful.
Thank you Becca, beautiful as always x
another stunner, would one box a card like this for postal?
Becca — I have watched several of your videos in the past and they have been good but the one you did today using the Spellbinders motif was beautiful. However, the reason I am commenting is to commed you on the quality of your video. I am 77 years old and sometimes it is hard for me to hear or see but this video when you zoomed in on the design you made was excellent. Every aspect of the video was so professional and excellent. You get an Emmy from me, if that counts. Sorry about your ac. I think you live in Florida as I do and it is an essential item. Thanks!!
Beautiful as usual!
Wow Becca. Very creative. Love the card!!!…Your video was done very well. Your explanation of the how to was so easy to follow what you did. :)
I love it when you make spellbinders 3d . I have done 2 projects of my own and am addicted to them. Keep up the great work x
BECCA NOTHING CAME THRU ON YOUR TUTORIAL CYNTHIA
Wow, Becca, this is fantastic! I love this design in white and I have to have the Damask Spellbinder die. I am trying not to spend money because I’m not working but my husband even agreed that I should order this because your cards are so beautiful! I just need to start using/creating with my material. Thank you for sharing your creative ideas!
just a few words…YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! God bless! xo
A very beautiful card with a very elaborate striking look, but as your tutorial suggests, relatively simple process to create. I envy you your vision and creativity. You truly are very an amazingly talented and inspiring crafter to the rest of us! Thanks for all of your beautiful designs.
Hi Becca,
I absolutely love this card!! Your use of Spellbinders in amazing. Spellbinders should consider hiring you to design thier die cuts. The Damask Motif – I think it would make a beautiful Christmas Ornament,
but I bet you already had that in mind.. LOL
Thanks for sharing all your talent.

Your cards are indeed the most beautiful cards I have ever seen. I agree with Judy A….You should work for Spellbinders.
I love the new way you are presenting your videos. I can see I need to order that damask design die. What a beautiful, feminine flower.
