Hi there blog friends, as you may guess, the Spellbinders I’m showing today is a new one. I know you want to see what they look like in every day use, so you know me, I’m happy to oblige! By the way, you have not seen all the dies revealed yet, did you know that? There are more to be shown at CHA so don’t cap off that list yet. Of course as they are made available I’ll be showing my first stab at creating with them too!! The die set I’m showing today is Spellbinders S5-073 Orchard Harvest Tags & Accents.
I’m using a new sentiment from Quietfire Design called The Origin of Love – it just felt to me like muted tones were again the order of the day. No problem with me complying there!! I’ve taken two of the die templates and layered them here and I must say they look beautiful together and thankfully the rectangular profile makes this combination perfect for sentiments. Since I’m all set up for digital papers now (i.e., printer hooked up, loaded with paper and full of ink :-) in the studio, I can get those papers on a whim. These are digital papers from Websters Pages – Love!! This particular paper is originally square but with digital you get it like you want it – I made it 5″ x 7″ and mirrored the design so the bird would be on the left. I added a piece of a square doily from my stash just to add more interest on the left side. I finished up with a button and hand dyed cream seam binding.
SUPPLIES I USED |
Stamps: Quietfire Design – The Origin of Love Paper: Websters Pages (Digital), The Paper Company, Bazzill Ink: Versafine – Vintage Sepia and clear embossing powder, Victorian Velvet Distress Ink, Vintage Photo Distress Ink, Tattered Rose Distress Ink, Accessories: Spellbinders S5-073 Orchard Harvest Tags & Accents, Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Doily Accents, pearls, button |
Now that you’ve seen all the new Edgeabilities, Spellbinders has put out two new videos so that you can see these wonder tools in greater depth. It’s amazing to me that something so small has so much power with the ability to mix and match – check these out!!
I hope you’re having a stellar week!! Be good sweeties!!

Thanks again for sharing all your wonderful talent with us hun and have a wonderful day.
All I can say is AWESOME!
Honestly…I DREAM about these dies every night and think about all the ways they can be used during the day. Your beautiful creations continue to add fuel to that fire! :)
This card absolutely takes my breath away! I love the sentiment, the colours, the Spellbinders set — everything about it. Thanks so much for sharing your awesome talent.
Beautiful in every way. Great design on your part in having the little blue bird ending up perched on the edge for the focal piece. You are just amazing!
What a gorgeous die and beautiful sentiment.
This die set is fantastic (so is your card as always). Just love all of the new dies, and was sorry that the showing ended. I will miss my daily anticipation. So glad you plan to continue showing them in your posts cause no one knows how to creatively manipulate them like you do!!!
I don’t know whether to be happy or not hearing there are still more on the way. I just broke the bank on this last release. There were not many holiday ones, so I am guessing that that will be next ones we see. Are you going to CHA Becca? Have a great day.
Marcie

This is beautiful…..and I love this set harvest tags and accents…..just beautiful…..
Becca,
Your card is lovely. The shading on the sentiment card is so soft and beautiful. Love the new harvest tags as well. My Spellbinders list keeps getting longer.
Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful card, Becca! Spellbinders is really blessed to have you on their team…and so are we ;-)
Becca your card is gorgeous. Just curious what digital paper pack it is from Webster’s? I wasn’t positive when I went to look. I am enjoying printing the Crafty Secrets papers on my home printer and may branch further into it. It is nice if you make an incorrect cut or other mistake to be able to just print another piece of the paper! Makes me more adventurous! Thanks for your help and your wonderful crafting blog! You make me smile every single day and that is something as my husband is so ill and things are hard right now. God is with us and your wonderful cards often give me a wonderful message for the day! God Bless you!
Hugs – Jill

Becca,
Love the new Spellbinders dies and I’ve enjoy viewing the amazing projects you’ve made with them. It gives me great on which dies to use to create each design. Thank you and enjoy your weekend.

I just ran across your blog while ago, and I am going to be a follower. Your work is wonderful, and I am trying to learn to use my Spellbinder dies.

This is just lovely. I love the spellbinders together.
Who better than you to show off all the new Spellbinders? Actually the Spellbinders design team are really talented and it has been a pleasure following the Blog Frenzy!! But I LOVE your designs and you have such a SPECIAL gift.
I thank you so much for all the inspiration you share!
God Bless!
Lovely card. I learn new ways to display things by examining your cards. Thank you!
Becca I bet you are in your glory with all the new dies. There are enough
dies dfor you to make card after card and then change the dies and start up
all over again. This is another beautiful card. Thank you for all the videos
and tutorials. Sometimes it is soooooo much easier to understand how
to make a project when you have a video to understand how you used it.
We sure appreciate it.
cynthia
