Night Sky in my Hand

Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using Quietfire Design - If I Had A Star and Spellbinders Majestic Labels 25 - www.amazingpapergrace.com
Good morning!  I’m popping in quickly again to share yet another sentiment from Quietfire Design – If I had a Star.  This is a sentiment that is now mounted onto cling rubber and I thought it would be perfect for my framed card.  As you can tell I have been on a romantic and feminine card kick as of late – I made a series of cards using the things I have out on my counter and this was one of several I crafted at the same time.  I started out with a card base onto which I added Spellbinders Majestic Labels Twenty Five.  I love using  Spellbinders Mediterranean Medallion embossing folder because it’s quite easy to trim along the embossed lines to make a frame.  I mounted this as the upper layer over top of my sentiment.

I finished up by pulling a couple of my flowers from a recent stash using Spellbinders Garden Blooms (by A Gilded Life).   A seam binding bow and pearls finished things off!!  I love a nice big sentiment like this one – it fills out the frame very nicely :-)

Your creation is beautiful as always. Your flowers are really nice. I am trying to determine what material you used to create them. It almost looks like crepe paper. I also wanted to comment on how beautiful your daughter is and how much she looks like her Mama. You are blessed to be so creative, beautiful, and have such a wonderful family.ReplyCancel

This far down on the list there really isn’t much left to say except whomever the receipient is, is one lucky person. Each card you make, I go to the receipe and say “Oh, I have that die, ooo I need to get that one! Needless to say, you have been instrumental in my collection of dies, Becca. Thank for again sharing your lovely work of art.
