No Matter What Road I Travel

Hi there friends. There’s nothing like beginning the weekend! I took a break from my focus to finish up another card that had been started but not finished. It simply needed a sentiment. I picked out one that I truly treasure from Serendipity Stamps called No Matter What Road. Doesn’t that just make you nod your head – you know it’s true.  Not wanting to fuss further I simply stamped it down on my design paper.

I used a Martha Stewart Punch All Over Punch to make my cross panel.  With a bow and pearls to finish, I would say this is one of my simpler cards.   I sure don’t mind simple.  Speaking of keeping it simple, my post is very brief because I’m working today.

SUPPLIES I USED
Stamps: Serendipity Stamps – No Matter What Road
Paper: K & Company – Classic K McKenna
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black
Accessories: MS Anywhere Punch – Floral Tile , Recollections Pearls, Ribbon, Prima Flowers, Leaf PIns, Clear Embossing Powder

See you soon!  Be good!!

You know, I actually prefer simple. I make cards for my husband and grown sons, and they are not into “girlie”, with bows and pearls and glitz. I have to work hard to come up with masculine cards. Maybe you can help with that? I sure would appreciate it. Also, I make cards for people at church and family and friends, and I have to produce LOTS. I just can’t spend that much time on each card. Sometimes it’s quantity, not quality, I guess!
    Thanks for your blog.ReplyCancel

I love this card. As always great color combo and just plain beautiful. I am trying so hard to brake away from my usual monochromatic pastel cards and trying to learn to use patterned papers Seeing your cards everyday is such an inspiration and very educational. Thank you.

I love this card. I just got this MS punch in the mail the other day. I can’t wait to play with it (and the other 2 I got). What an ingenious idea for punches.ReplyCancel
