A big hello blog friends! Where did August go? Sheesh, I’m already planning projects for September and trying to finish up the cards I had planned for August, so I have one more to share today. This really isn’t pink, I swear. It’s a peachy, mauvey color but from a distance, it looks like pink, lol!! This is another Our Daily Bread Designs sentiment from the special set that was introduced this month with stamps solicited from ODBD customers, Scripture Series 2 and Scrolly Borders. This is actually going to someone as a thank you card and because it was sooo easy to make, it goes into my do-again file when I need a quick card :-)
This is a very low profile card and the bow is very smushable! When I’m comfortable with my video, camera, I’ll do a walk through on the simple bow. To spice things up, I added this decorative piece from Spellbinders™ Ironworks Motifs. You can’t get much simpler than this card – Labels Twenty Two layered on top of Lace Doily Motifs – the ribbon behind just makes it a little dressy :-)

You try to play it down and make it seem so simple but it is beautifully done. How do you do it?!? It is a gorgeous card.
Beautiful card and wonderful sentiment.
ColleenB.
How pretty! Love the way you used the ribbon and the Scrolly Borders really add a special pop around the lovely sentiment.
Blessings Bernie
VERY NICE Becca! Sometimes we need a simpler card, when soooo many things are on our plate!!!!!!!!!!! :)
That is such pretty ribbon. What is it?
Also what size is your card usually?
They look quite good size in the pictures so its hard to tell. In your supply
discription I think it would be of interest to most everyone, if you could also give the finished size of the card. Pretty please :)
If you like pink , you should do pink. You’re the artist, create from the heart. God bless……. Denice : )
I love the simplicity and the elegance of this card . For me it will be a great reference it look accessible.Merci beaucoup. Francine
Beautiful Becca!
Another gorgeous creation!
Just gorgeous!! You are so lucky to always have all the newest Spellbinders to work with!!
Both of today’s card are lovely! They may not be the most complicated that you’ve ever done, but they are both elegant. On the other hand I’d hardly call them CAS cards! lol! Every time I think I can live without a certain die you show something just gorgeous using it. So back on the wish list it goes!

Beautiful card Becca, love the die-cutting on this one especially the paper used with the bow. Lovely colors chosen. Beautiful work. As always Becca, TFS!!! :-D
so pretty, like how the die behind your bow really dresses it up!
Becca,
I know you stamp on watercolor paper. What other secrets do you have for getting your stamped images to turn out so beautifully? The color is always so solid and perfect. My stamping leaves much to be desired.
Thanks,
Julie
What a lovely card! Beautiful!
Now this is another dandy; the cat’s pajamas and all that. Like everyone else, I too love that bow and would love to know how you did it.
Thanks Becca and again think you’re just the greatest for sharing all you do with us.
I found your website while surfing. You knocked my socks off with the flowers made out of crepe paper. I had been keeping rolls of the rolls not knowing what to do with them. Now I am busily making bouquets of flowers for my family members.
Wish I were so creative. Nevertheless, be it said I am pretty good at reading instructions and following them.
Thank you so much. ec
I love everything about this card….the sentiment is beautiful and so is the scroll border. You have a way with ribbon too, you are sooo talented!
LOL Eileen

Loved How you altered that tin!
Your projects are so inspiring! I love the oldtime feeling – a really feminine ‘girly’ type of art.
