Our Daily Bread Designs May 2012 New Release Blog Hop

Blog friends, can you believe it is already May?  Welcome to the ODBD May 2012 New Release Blog Hop!  If you arrived here from
The Our Daily Bread Designs blog, you are in the right place!  If not, you’ll sure want to start there so you don’t miss a chance to win any of the four great prizes this month as well as to get the scoop on all the details there! The full blog hop list is also on the ODBD blog just in case you get stuck along the way.

I needed yet another graduation card so for my card today, I finally put together an idea I’ve had on my mind for quite some time.  I love using vellum and Pergamano and wanted to create a subtle card using the see through elements so I picked a balanced element using Spellbinders™ Damask Motifs.  My card is 5.5″ x 7″ and the vellum is attached to the top layer of my panel and falls free over the front.  Once in place, I could hide the glue dots I used to adhere each element by placing a pearl on top.  Using a simple sentiment from Our Daily Bread Designs Dreams Set, on my vellum base I used  Spellbinders™ Splendid Circles and layered Spellbinders™ Twisted Metal Tags and Accents on top.  Lastly,  I stamped the sentiment on Spellbinders™ Ribbon Tags Trio

Hop Particulars:
The Hop will run from 8:00 am Eastern Time on May 1st until 8:00 pm Eastern Time on May 2nd. The winners will be announced on the ODBD Blog on May 3rd.  For this special event, there will be Four Prizes  – three stamps sets (one for each of three winners) from  the ODBD store and one Bread Basket Bundle!

How to Enter the Drawing:
*Leave comments for each designer on each blog.
*Return to the ODBD Blog and leave a comment, telling us you completed the hop and there’s a question for you to answer.

Becca, love the design of this card. You truely are the guru of combining Spellbinder shapes to create such fabulous creations. I love the softness that vellum provides to projects, but never have found any type of glue that really works so that you don’t see it. You have cleverly masked your glue dots like I never seem to be able to do. Beautifully done.

I do not usually enter comments – but your creativity and cards are absolutely beautiful. O to be so creative … what God given talent. I am lucky that I can copy ideas and that we have so many talented folks willing to share. I do not see a place to purchase products through you. Do you sell products or only advertise for the company whose product you use?
Now will C if I get an answer when I write a comment. I sure wish I was not standing behind the door when God handed out talents. I was lucky to be adoped and both my adopted mom and dad were creative and ! was taught how to adapt others work.ReplyCancel
