Our Daily Bread July Blog Hop

Hello everyone! Welcome to our July Release Blog Hop!  We have been having fun playing with these sets and we know you will too!
If you arrived here from
Chris Olsen, you are in the right place!  If not, you might want to start at the Our Daily Bread Designs Blog to get your bearings.  If for any reason a link along the hop is broken, simply return to the Our Daily Bread Designs Blog  to see who is next on the list :-)  Blog hop morning is a busy time for blogs so if you are unable to leave a comment, no worries, circle back to that blog at the end.

Here in the USA, this is a big holiday weekend and we know many of you are busy with company and family events, so we’re going to keep the hop real simple!  There are no secret words to collect, no email to send, but there are still goodies up for grabs.  Three of our design team has prizes hidden throughout the hop – even the designers don’t know.  You’ll want to make your way through the entire hop for sure!

Here’s What You Need to Know to Win:

  • The Blog Hop runs from 8am EST on Thursday, July 1 through 8pm EST on Friday, July 2nd.

  • There will be 3 Winners . . . who will each receive a free stamp set of their choice from the Our Daily Bread Designs Store.

  • Winners will be randomly chosen from all the qualified entries by the three designers with the blog candy and will be announced on Saturday, July 3rd on the ODBD Blog.

Here’s What You Need to Do to Win:

  • Hop to each blog of the Our Daily Bread Design team and leave a comment on each blog.

  • Return to the Our Daily Bread Designs Blog  and leave a comment that you completed the hop and left comments for each designer.

  • If for any reason you cannot leave a comment, please give us the name/s of the designers you were unable to leave comments for… and you’ll still be qualified for the drawing.

I have not done a 4th of July card yet this year so when Kelley showed us the new sets for this month, I was tickled that there was a patriotic verse to use.   I’m using the new set called
Our Daily Bread.  I actually cheated a little bit and dug back into my older sets and picked up the eagles head  to also go my card it’s from the In God We Trust set.  For this one I simply added a Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Borderabilities Petite in red on the first layer of the card.  On the next layer I added a panel punched using my right angle punching technique and a Martha Stewart Punch Corner Punch – this particular one makes a border that looks like stars inside circles so it fit my theme just right.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Our Daily Bread Designs – Our Daily Bread, In God We Trust
Paper:  Bazzill, Kaisercraft, The Paper Company
Ink:  Walnut Stain Distress Ink, Versafine Onyx Black
Accessories:  Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Borderabilites Petite, Martha Stewart Corner Punch – Corner Quilted, clear embossing powder, buttons, ribbon

Okay, now I need to send you on your way.  Your next stop a is to visit my magnificent friend,

Grace Nywening

You won’t believe what she has dreamed up for you this time!!  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the hop.

I just love the ways that you use paper punches, i have been looking for a book on how to create different looks with punches and i can’t seem to find anything, even on the net ! so this web site of your’s is such a real blessing to me, as i minister to those in need of encouragement through cards; thanks for all the inspirations ! and this is a new thing for me to blog hop so i will give it a try; oh- i have a ” card making” room, it used to be my living room ! i have alot of space in it, i am waiting to see what the lord will do to fill it up with supplies, as i headed the lords call on my life to do this card ministry, so, i pray that i will win so that i can minister to more and more folks who need a positive word of Godly encouragement. so i pray you will pick me. this ministry started after i had my kidney cancer, you might remember me as i put a lenghty comment on the last give a way. If i win, the stuff i win will go so much farther than me alone, it will touch so many lives– as i don’t make anything to keep for myself, if i did this i know the lord would take my ministry away from me, as i was called by him to minister to others and not myself !! crazy hugh ! but blessed and surviving cancer free today. thanks girl !! please remember me, i can always use prayer, i am disabled and alone most of the time, which to me is a blessing ’cause i can take that time and do alot of ministering ! thanks, GOD BLESS , love you and your work, i bet we would do some serious damage in my card room if we got together ! oh well, i live in louisianna in the hurricane rita affected area and no one wants to stay here long so , LOL , we will just have to visit on your blogs ! LOL LOL LOL judyReplyCancel
